What do you like best about PatientNow?

Was ok for basic scheduling. We liked the granularity for short duration services that we offered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PatientNow?

We were a client from 2018 to 2025, nearly 7 years. In 2025 we attempted to cancel our subscription because it was time to move in a new direction based on our changing business needs. Patient Now told us we could not cancel our contract based on a minor technicality, even with a nearly decade-long customer. They would not even negotiate with us for some kind of middle ground solution.

What do you like best about PatientNow?

The concept and features sounded promising. I liked the idea of an all-in-one EMR platform that could manage patient intake, scheduling, documentation, and communication in one place. What do you dislike about PatientNow?

The user interface is clunky, unintuitive, and often requires too many steps for basic functions. Even more disappointing was the lack of effective customer support—requests for help were met with long delays or generic responses that didn’t address the actual problems. When I tried to cancel due to ongoing dissatisfaction, I was told I missed the cancellation window, with no consideration for the issues I had raised repeatedly. What do you like best about PatientNow?

It’s pretty easy to use and learn. It has many functions that are great for a med spa. This system allows us to schedule and build packages that suit our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PatientNow?

They do a great presentation about how their system can replace so many other and that they inegrate it all into one. Unfortunately they can't do any of that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PatientNow?

The benefits are that you can customize every aspect of the program to what you are using it for. It has excellent use for the medical industry for sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a complex program to learn. You have to be very computer savvy to run 'Admin.' Not to mention, It is almost impossible to keep track of the sales part of the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PatientNow?

It's a compilation of half-baked products that are not great for your business. The most upsetting part is dealing with the company and being ghosted by them while they keep charging you for the product you have canceled. I have offered to give feedback, but they have no interest in improving their product. Moreover, they have poor customer service. They are only interested in making the sale. What do you like best about PatientNow?

I love the integration with so many other softwares. I like how many features there are that make my job easier, such as the waitlist feature. And, internal communication is made easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PatientNow?

1. They have a treatment pathways option where it reminds users when to do a follow up call, retreatment call, and cancellation calls. This is great for patient retention and we use it daily. There’s also a patient communications tablet where it’s easy to keep track of all communications between the office and patient. 2. I also like the injectables tab when documenting treatments; it makes it easy to document procedures. It’s easy to insert in data points (medical history, allergies) from this into your SOAP note as well and you can set it to pre-populate. 3. I like that Consents can be signed right into the EMR. 4. I also love sticky notes option— I can write in important alerts or notes that pop up right away every time the patient’s chart is opened up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PatientNow?

With documentation, the formatting (editing tables, headers) can be restrictive. It’s not as easy as it could be to create and delete tables. Making templates is slightly complicated to make it "pretty" and getting the headers and tables to line up, but a tech savvy person could figure it out. We have problems sending e-scripts from patient now, so we just call in scripts or print a paper copy after writing it up in the prescription/orders tab. We are having problems sending emails from patient now (for follow up emails) and tried to ask Patientnow IT to help but they have yet to fix it for us. IT support and customer service for patient now is lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
