"Ease of Use with Room for Speed Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I love that NetSuite is super easy to use, making my day-to-day tasks easier and allowing me to move more quickly with my job. Building reports is very straightforward, and I can pull information for multi-level entities without much hassle. I also appreciate having everything in one place, especially the accounting side, which adds to its convenience and efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I experience freezing, and sometimes it takes a long time for something to open up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

High Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), aggressive annual price escalators, and an incredibly steep learning curve for teams unfamiliar with advanced accounting practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Single, Connected Platform for Finance, CRM, and Multi-Subsidiary Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I find most helpful about NetSuite is that it provides a single, connected platform for managing finance, subsidiaries, intercompany activity, CRM, and operational processes. The subsidiary structure is especially valuable for companies with multiple entities, currencies, and reporting needs. NetSuite also helps reduce the usual disconnect between finance, CRM, and manufacturing because the financial data is tied directly to the underlying transactions and operational activity. This makes it easier to trust the numbers, reduce reconciliation issues between systems, and get a more complete view of the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

NetSuite’s biggest downside is that it can be complex and sometimes unintuitive for end users. Because it is highly configurable, the system can become difficult to manage if workflows, scripts, roles, integrations, and custom fields are not well governed. Reporting and permissions are powerful, but they can require training and administrative expertise. NetSuite works best when there is strong process ownership and ongoing system maintenance. The new AI features are solving some of this issue though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective for Order Management, Needs Better Training"
4/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like that NetSuite is easy to use and navigate. It's really convenient for me to put all my orders and shipping details in one place and connect it with the exhibitor. I'm also starting to explore the AI connectivity with NetSuite, which I'm finding to be a great tool as I learn more about it. So far, it's helping me streamline my processes and workflow, create reports faster, and even assist in co-working by handling research tasks, which otherwise would have taken hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Sometimes just learning how to navigate around NetSuite can be a little difficult in itself. I believe the navigating and connecting the worlds together could be improved. A quarterly training or refresher course every six months in NetSuite would help me navigate better around this portal. It wasn't easy. It was a lot to learn. I think the training could be enhanced to provide more hands-on training when you initially start using NetSuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for Global Financial Management, But Payroll Needs Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like that NetSuite has all the features we need for handling our companies, including the FX and the consolidation for each company. It helps a lot to put together the financial information, bank reconciliation, and monthly and annual reporting. Having multi-corporations under the same umbrella is an advantage with NetSuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I find the payroll system is not that good and I don't think it is presented strongly enough to be included actively in the system. I also felt that the initial setup was a little bumpy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Report Generation, But Too Expensive and Missing Key Integrations"
2.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like the speed of report generation the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The software is quite expensive and lacks some of the basic functionality like connecting the banking feed or Shopify. Some features don't even exist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Bulk Invoicing Made Simple with NetSuite"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I find NetSuite most helpful using the bulk tools to invoice orders. I also find it is a system that is user friendly. The upside of using NetSuite is that it is much simpler than other systems I have used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The least helpful using NetSuite is the 3rd party billing cannot be used with USPS. If a customer has 3rd party billing on their customer page, then USPS cannot be selected. We have to manually take the 3rd party billing off of the order to choose USPS for shipping. That is the only downside of NetSuite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable Reports with Flexible API Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

Customizable report, multiple APIs available for integrations Good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Because it's highly customizable, we have seen very different results in the same reports from different companies. Sometime, cross board experience isn't widely applicable in this case when managing different company's environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Reporting with Room for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I use NetSuite for all accounting functions, including billing, AP, and GL. I really appreciate the report and search creation tools. They're deep enough that I can run any search I need, and it's also easy enough to create them. Posting JEs is very easy, and the real-time posting of invoices, payments, and bill payments ensures my team doesn't have to unnecessarily contact customers or vendors. It really helps us fulfill report requests from other departments like operations and sales quickly and efficiently, aiding faster business decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Changing the revenue recognition schedule is cumbersome. It needs to be easier to change the dates and update the future revenue recognition. Currently, you need to edit the forecast and then the plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The real-time data allows for variance analysis and review of accounts at any point in time. I appreciate NetSuite's user-friendly interface and the ability to provide entity-wise reports anytime, which saves a lot of time and enhances efficiency. It's especially beneficial for clients with multiple branches across the USA due to its global application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
