## Notion Reviews
 ### 1. Streamlined Workflow with Powerful AI Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan S. | Director, Solution Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the backslash commands in Notion because they're awesome and really help me organize my thoughts quickly and without much effort. The ease of layout and use is another thing I like a lot, making the organization very intuitive. I'm also a fan of the AI summaries and recently discovered the AI assistant chatbot, which I find great because I can ask it questions and it helps me organize my thoughts. Also, the overall interface of Notion is much easier compared to others. Finally, setting it up was very easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'm not in love with the search feature. It's a little difficult to find a page once you have lots of pages, especially if you don't know the title. I think there could be some improvement there.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to write a manuscript, and it helps me organize my thoughts easily. The layout, ease of use, and backslash commands speed up my workflow. The AI assistant also aids in organization.

 ### 2. Efficient, Highly Customizable, Needs Speed Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizbeth R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how Notion looks like a completely different website, and it lets me categorize my favorite stuff by how I want them, by groups. It's great to be able to edit things as well. For example, if I need to edit something, I can tap into my new tabs, and it'll be considered private, so the company won't see my notes, which is quite nice. This helps me feel more organized with my job, and I can find problems quickly, not just through AI. Notion makes my workflow more beneficial by allowing me to search up anything with the keyboard, and whatever is related just appears right away. Also, the initial setup was really simple for me because all the links were shared, so I just had to favorite them and organize them quickly.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The first time I used Notion, I thought it was really slow whenever I searched up keywords. It took around three minutes to even get results. I guess that's the only thing that should be worked on improving.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to quickly search job-related information using AI and keywords, making my work more efficient and enabling me to solve client problems rapidly.

 ### 3. Great for Brain Dumps, Clear Organization, and a Helpful AI Writing Assistant

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

It’s great for project management, especially when I need to do a brain dump to gather my thoughts and then organize everything clearly afterward. The AI Writing Assistant is helpful too

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I'm not going to be able to explain it in a concise way but for example: my manager wanted her whole team to do their performance reviews so she made a "task" in a database and assigned it to us all. but we cannot click it as done b/c it'll mark it as done for everyone she assigned it to. There should be a way for a task to be mass assigned but tracked individually, instead of my manager needing to make the same exact individual task for 10 different people

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowledge Management - we are just getting started but it's a great place to store company knowledge so people can easily find it. This paired with the AI integration and the integrations for Zoom also helps with time management.

 ### 4. Infinite Customization, Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenzie G. | Director of Marketing

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love Notion's ability to be personalized into anything I need. There are no limits in its use cases, and the connectivity to third-party integrations means my life can be simplified. For work, I have completely different needs than my personal life, and Notion allows me to manage it all in one place. This ability to compartmentalize has significantly improved my quality of life and ADHD workflows. I also find it very easy to use, which is saying something since I first started using it back in 2019. Using Notion with tools like Gmail, Slack, Honeybook, Google Drive, and Make to create custom integrations enhances its value even more.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The only thing I wish is if Notion knew how to sort a page for me. If I create a page on a whim from my phone, it would be nice to be able to trust that it is organizing it into the right 'bucket' for me.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion organizes my brain dumps for personal projects, helps track work campaigns and tasks in one location, enhances creativity as a journal, and integrates with third-party tools for simplified life management.

 ### 5. Powerful AI Integrations, But Setup Can Be Challenging

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the various AI integrations in Notion. It's really the selling point for me; if not for that, I would just use Obsidian. With Notion, I can use AI in the way I want, for instance, using Claude to do some research and then having it put the research into Notion for me to review later. It makes reviewing the content convenient, as I can just have an inbox in Notion where I ask it to write some research and put it there. Then I can categorize it later after reviewing and making decisions, or even work with it interactively on the same document to update the content, which is really useful. Additionally, once things have spread to a certain point, Notion's AI is extremely helpful for reorganizing. It's excellent for someone who is technology native and comfortable with a subscription, offering native AI features that enhance its utility.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I dislike that I feel I need both a Notion subscription and a Claude subscription. Maybe it’s in my head, but Claude is a better chatbot than Notion AI. But Notion AIs integration with Notion is super invaluable for me. So I pay for both. But I wish I could fully replace Claude with Notion. I say that, but I also subscribe to Claude for access to Claude Code. And I assume Notion is never going to compete in the coding agent space.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for personal and semi-professional organization. The AI integrations let me use tools like Claude for research and seamlessly store it in Notion for review and interactive updates. I often use Claude to do deep research, Notion AI to turn that into an analysis spec for a project I’m working on, then move that somewhere Claude Code can access it to implement the idea.

 ### 6. Flexible and Template-Rich, But Slows Down at Scale

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin T. | Coding Department/Unit Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how flexible Notion is; it really allows me to make it into what I want. The number of helpful templates is great, and I find it very advantageous for customizing the platform to fit my needs. I also appreciate the collaboration features, like the ability to have shared text blocks in multiple areas and to manage tasks across multiple projects. Notion's flexibility and features are what convinced my team to switch from Trello.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It starts to run very slow as your database grows. Takes way too long to index the information. Also, its flexibility can be a problem for onboarding as it can be too overwhelming for people new to task management software.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep tasks on time, work effectively with a team, reduce meetings, and provide a list of accomplished tasks to the board. It's flexible with helpful templates and supports collaboration with shared text blocks and tasks across projects.

 ### 7. Centralized and User-Friendly, But Needs Mobile Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arash S. | Junior Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like using Notion for both work and personal task management because it allows me to have everything in one place, like tasks, projects, and calendar, which makes everything centralized. This centralized location means I can have the context of everything I'm doing right in front of me. I also enjoy its minimalist design—it really stands out to me. Plus, I find it easier to give access to people and share files between team members. The initial setup was very easy and straightforward too.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The mobile app used to be very confusing, it is better now but it still causes issues. Also, the lack of voice assistant is very problematic. The mobile app tried to do everything the web app did, but because of the limitations, you couldn't achieve either, no ease of access to projects, also Notion AI was so much limited.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep everything in one place—tasks, projects, and calendar—providing me with the context of everything I’m doing. It simplifies task management by allowing me to @ mention what I need without searching across apps.

 ### 8. Highly Customizable with Modern Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer N. | Recruitment Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how modern and new the interface is. There are a lot of features in Notion that allow customization, which I find really helpful. It's a widely used platform across the company, which makes it convenient. The presence of an AI agent is great because it makes it easy to talk to someone for support live and right away. The modern interface helps a lot, especially since I'm using it to replace outdated systems. I appreciate the ability to customize various elements within Notion, which enhances our event tracking and management, and it's now a more suitable platform for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think one of the improvements I would like to see is so from Notion while we're using it across the different departments, there is some information that we want to be able to hide, from our teammates, so to speak. We ask them to input the budget that they have spent for the event. We still need this information internally on the HQ side to be able to keep track of how much money is being spent. But we don't want teammates to see what other cities are spending. If you can include a feature where we can hide the data that's visible to, let's say, the admin, but then not visible to other users or teammates, I think that would be quite helpful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize projects and events in a modern interface with customization. It helps our department post all event details and take notes on calls linked with Microsoft Teams, serving as a project management tool, tracking project status, priority, and department.

 ### 9. Valuable Visibility, Challenging Learning Curve

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colby F. | Content Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how Notion provides a fairly visual roadmap of what's going on, which really helps in tracking project progress without having to deal with all the information at once. It's also great that I can switch from an overview page directly to a specific page and immediately start working. This feature is especially helpful when I'm juggling multiple projects and need to view more than 5-6 projects in a single view, which is quite beneficial during Zoom calls when sharing my screen.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It's been a learning curve to add new drop downs on a page. It's also annoying that things filter by alphabetical order by default. There are some times when I am planning "April 2025, May... June... July... August" and the page automatically filters to "April, August, May..." It would be nice to have a button that lets you decide HOW you want something sorted. When the side panel opens to create a new page, I wish I had the option to add a new property rather than just adding it to the old one. The setup was pretty difficult. It was a learning curve compared to Monday which is very intuitive. There's more functions in Notion, just takes longer to figure them out.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves the visibility issue by providing access across projects, helping our team track project statuses and collaborate efficiently. I appreciate its visual roadmap and progress indicator, which help in managing multiple projects without overwhelming details. Its easy for stakeholders to use the tech, too which is a perk.

 ### 10. Notion’s Integrations and AI Help Save Time Across Campaigns

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Betty B. | Senior Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how I can connect multiple integrations, with different campaigns and lists for different people. I haven't been using it for UI / UX so I can't comment on the benefits of this. The AI / intelligence of the platform is also helpful to try and save me time. In terms of pricing / ROI, I haven't looked into this but we have a good buy in from the team so it's positive.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I haven't used enough of the features to define if there is anything to dislike about Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making my team able to increase their performance by giving us the same view across campaigns, making our actions lists clearer and ensuring we are all using the same platform for planning.

 ### 11. Notion - Easy Documentation Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shalu M. | Associate Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion on a daily basis to note my day-to-day work, almost like a notepad. I create a page for each day and use that day’s date as the page name, which helps me keep track of what I did every day. Another major use for me is creating documentation for different workflows, whether it’s Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, or Office Scripts. I also jot down quick, scribbled notes during client or internal meetings in Notion. Overall, it feels like a one-stop solution for keeping all of our documents and notes in one place.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes the page takes forever to load. In my case, since each page contains so many tables, it can get a bit slow to load as the project work increases.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me quickly add a note whenever I need to, without having to keep a separate notepad for each and every task. I can organize all my notes and work documentation in one space. During up-skilling programmes, I use Notion to create lecture notes, which is very helpful later when I need to revisit them. The UI and UX are quite interesting and easy to use, with a user-friendly nature that makes it much simpler even for a first-time user.

 ### 12. A tool optimized for task and schedule management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seojin K. | Global E-Commerce Manager, Cosmetics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for all aspects of my daily life, finding it useful as a tool for organizing work logs, scheduling, and creating travel and daily checklists. Notion's versatility and the various hierarchies and bullet points that enhance data visibility make content organization easy and neat. What I like the most is the basic calendar database, which allows for the creation of pages by date, making it convenient to track work or schedules and record details thoroughly. Thanks to this feature, I can see my schedule at a glance and it's also great for checking the overall project roadmap. The various viewing modes and powerful filtering capabilities are also very useful and are a great help for team collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Is it perhaps the inconvenience of offline mode? Of course, I understand that Notion is cloud-based and requires an online connection. However, there are times when we need to work on a plane or in places with unstable internet connections. If we've been handling all our work through Notion, this lack of connectivity offline can cause confusion in our work. It would be nice if the search function could be improved. As Notion's data grows, it becomes difficult to quickly find the exact page I want through a fast search. While title searches work well, I think there's still room for improvement in searching deep within the content to show the best results. The initial setup was easy, but as time goes on, there are more and more things to set up...

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion allows you to easily organize content and neatly arrange it with various hierarchies and bullet points. The database is great for displaying complex numbers at a glance, and you can conveniently track tasks and schedules through the calendar database.

 ### 13. Streamlines Knowledge Management with Notion AI but Setup Could Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lane D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like Notion AI since it can search across multiple tools we use, like Slack and Google Docs. It's great for validating my responses to customers and checking if we can support certain features. Notion AI also helps by creating new Notion pages from the information I input, which saves me a lot of time when building playbooks and guides for my teammates. Additionally, I like how it links the resources it checks, as this allows me to double-check what Notion AI is referencing.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the ease to export guides as PDFs and share them externally would be great. Sometimes, I think jumping between Notion pages that are linked is a little confusing, so I think the user experience could be made a little bit better there. Also, ease of referencing older Notion AI searches could be a little bit better in the UI. It was not the easiest to set up Notion. It took a big effort to link all important historical documents that we wanted to make referenceable in Notion. It was quite manual for multiple team members to go and grab old document links to be able to bring them into Notion. Maybe there's a better way, but that's how we were advised to set it up.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to consolidate information, making it searchable across tools like Slack and Google Docs. It streamlines onboarding with playbooks and efficiently finds information using Notion AI. It saves time and improves team guidance.

 ### 14. Central Workspace with Impressive AI Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dean P. | Digital Solutions Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I primarily use Notion as my central workspace for various tasks like managing vendor relationships and documenting research. I love its ease of use and the available functionality, making capturing and organizing information a lot easier than in a traditional program like Microsoft Word. In particular, I really like the feature that lets me transcribe conversations using Notion AI. This allows me to spend less time typing out notes manually during meetings and be more present in the conversation while still being able to reference what was discussed. We also have it plugged into Google Drive and Dust, making it great for linking necessary and relevant files.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think something about Notion that can be improved might be the way their tables work. Sometimes it's difficult to copy and paste data out of those tables. I also think they're less intuitive to use than a standard spreadsheet. It also lacks the ability to leverage formulas.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion organizes information for easy future reference and sharing, simplifies capturing and organizing data, and allows transcription of conversations to reduce manual typing, letting me be more present in meetings.

 ### 15. Intuitive Interface and Superior Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** fabiele s. | Analista de CRM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like the interface of Notion, which is very easy to understand. The AI of Notion is quite suggestive and shows me where I should click, making it easier to analyze or create new documents. The ease of using the tool helps a lot in daily life. The AI of Notion optimizes my time and offers me more organization. An example is in meetings, where I can record and then get a summary with the main topics. This interface makes my daily life easier, optimizes my time, fills in fields, and brings new ideas along with creation.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Yes, I think the Forms part of Notion needs to be a bit easier when building it. When we start constructing the database through a form, it ends up being a bit more complex when selecting the fields, so the issue of forms leaves something to be desired.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion solves communication problems, integrates with other tools, provides visibility over the marketing calendar, allows for planning and predictability, organizes tasks and dates, optimizes meetings with recording and summary, and facilitates daily activities with its practical interface and AI support.

 ### 16. Flexible Collaboration for Remote Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ines R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I quite like the flexibility of Notion. I very much enjoy the databases concept and how I can nest things into a single page. This creates a single entry point for a source of truth, allowing me to delve deeper and link anything related to a particular work stream. Since we work remotely, having the ability to share information and come back to it later is super important for decision-making and broad communication. Also, as I work in AI, I enjoy the AI features and use Notion agents often to find information or run tasks related to context studies. Myself quite love Notion, so I'd give it a nine.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the models might struggle to create Notion pages from scratch when you have quite specific requirements. Like, if I paste markdown and want to structure it into a more Notion compatible framework using tables or databases, the models quite struggle with that, so I believe that could be improved.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for roadmap planning, breaking down work streams, and resource allocation. It's crucial for documentation, especially since we're a remote company. I like its flexibility, databases, and AI features, which help us share information and make decisions effectively.

 ### 17. All-in-One Convenience with Intuitive Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunny S. | Enterprise Business - APAC, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like that with Notion, everything is in one place—Notes, ToDo, Project Trackers, and Calendars—so I don't have to switch between different apps. It's also great for pipeline management, document collaboration tracking, and team collaboration. The templates are plentiful, which is awesome for tracking personal finances or managing sales pipelines and projects. I appreciate not needing multiple tools since we're bootstrapped; it's a big deal for us. Everything being centralized is super convenient, and the phone app is fantastic for collaboration on the move. I also love the real-time cross-platform collaboration and how easy and intuitive the initial setup was.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Nothing as such to dislike

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to invest in multiple tools, saving costs since we're bootstrapped. Everything's in one place, simplifying access. Notion's templates cover tasks from finance to project management, eliminating the need for multiple apps. The phone app's great for collaboration on the go.

 ### 18. Great for Documentation, Lacks in Project Tracking

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasia S. | Engineering Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion primarily for documentation because it allows me to have all my docs in one place and provides easy search capabilities. I like the AI assistant, which helps me find the things I need. Additionally, I appreciate how I can build pages nicely, as it's visually appealing.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Project tracking is horrible; the integrations don't always work well, and it is very buggy. The support could be better. It is slow when handling big chunks of work. The copy-paste, select all, and delete functions work properly only 1 out of 3 times. You can't assign an issue to different projects and update it from any of these projects, making cross-team collaboration hard. The automation is not quite advanced. The two-way sync with Jira is bad. The initial setup was not easy, with many bugs preventing data migration from other tools. We're stuck with a good documentation platform but really bad project tracking, which is more expensive, forcing us to look for solutions elsewhere.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep all my documents in one place, making them easy to search. The AI assistant helps me find what I need, and the page-building features are visually appealing.

 ### 19. Transformational Tool with Great AI and Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rita W. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to track projects and tasks at work and find Notion AI a real game changer for brainstorming. The integration capabilities are particularly valuable, as they connect Notion to Slack, Google Drive, and my calendar, giving it a one-stop shop feel. I appreciate Notion as a home base for starting my thought process and staying updated on project progress. When I need an update, I only have to ask Notion AI instead of searching different platforms. The integrations help me find things quickly, and I love using Notion AI with dashboards and databases to write formulas, troubleshoot, and make everything useful and easy. The enterprise plan setup was very easy, and I see a lot of value in it compared to other apps we've evaluated.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't have a lot of feedback personally, but I see that for some team members, Notion can feel quite endless with so many possibilities. It might be helpful to have a guide, like 'Hey, what do you need help with?' for those who have a harder time starting or understanding the capabilities. However, I wouldn't want it to distract from their work.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to track projects and tasks, serving as a home base for my thoughts. Notion AI integration lets me find updates quickly without searching different platforms, making project and task management efficient. It also helps with brainstorming, formulas, and troubleshooting.

 ### 20. Dynamic and Comprehensive Collaboration Hub

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jazmine R. | Internal Quality Specialist, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love how diverse and dynamic Notion is. You can create almost anything from dashboards to standard operating procedure pages to resource libraries. I really appreciate being able to design the page in a way that works for me and my team. If I'm unable to find something or create something, I can always reach out to the Notion team, and they are always very helpful in assisting.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I felt like Notion was initially a little bit slow and hard to learn. I didn't really understand the different kind of use cases and how that would apply. Over time, this has improved and I am happy with where we are at.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion organizes our day-to-day tasks, serves as an internal wiki for onboarding, and holds public content too. It creates learning resources and libraries, solving the issue of lacking a dedicated place to review content or processes. It's dynamic and adaptable for designing pages that meet team needs.

 ### 21. Custom Database Views Make Notion a Powerful Hub for R&D Projects

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I like best about Notion is the ability to design specific database views for the work I’m doing. My team has a database that includes a lot of content. When I’m setting up R&D projects, I often create a new “hub” for the project that may include a few brief explanations, but I primarily use filtered views into the team’s database to share information with the R&D team and remove unrelated pages. This way, the broader team can stay aware of what we’re building through the main database, while the R&D team can quickly navigate to only the relevant information.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I currently dislike how when I copy a synced block (usually as part of a longer copying operation), that it sometimes does not become a synced block when pasted into another place. This may be an issue with user error, though, because I see that it sometimes works as expected. I am also slightly frustrated by how comments are sometimes displayed in Notion. I have some design documents that receive extensive comments and the location of comments in the right hand sign of the Web Browser UI sometimes pushes comments far away from the original marked up location if there are many comments "nearby".

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion is solving the problems of: (1) Sharing technical research progress reports (often involving math formulas), (2) giving and receiving feedback on software design ideas, as well as (3) managing my own time every day at the office with a ranked To-Do list.

 ### 22. Versatile Knowledge Base but Tricky Navigation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the drafting qualities of Notion, as it makes it easy to write documents. Unlike Google Docs, which may follow different standards and formats, Notion makes it easy to create templates that can be reused across similar patterns, like generating the same kind of spec docs. I also like its search capabilities a lot, which are better than what Google offers, and it just makes me work faster in creating content.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The new navigation experience that Notion launched is extremely confusing from a change management perspective. The meeting notes feature is also not as robust as other tools like Granola. Additionally, from an integration standpoint, trying to integrate Notion with different systems like AI content searching has been problematic. Notion's permission structures for accessing meeting notes and content have not worked well with our systems, which is a bit annoying.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Notion as our company knowledge base, to write design documents, collaborate on planning, and document SOPs.

 ### 23. Highly Customizable, Powerful Yet Challenging Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for personal information management, tasks, note-taking, and as an information database for language learning. I'm also experimenting with the Notion Mail and AI inbox triage using Notion Agents. The interface and how well you can customize pages is really awesome. I love the AI meeting notes and the ease of filtering those into tasks. Bringing everything from several platforms into one centralized location with Notion's integration is something I'm learning to maximize. I've seen Notion's power with its relational databases with multiple views, which is great for tracking student progress, assigning tasks, and managing timelines. Developing a Helpdesk ticketing system is straightforward, and having it look polished without being a coder has been wonderful. The AI tools can do fantastic things independently, and I feel they can be used more effectively without so much bloat. I've found some great templates, which help in achieving a clean look and efficient functionality.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

My biggest concern for using Notion at work is maintaining FERPA compliance, which is a non-starter as it's not covered under our state's DPA for education use. The learning curve is quite steep, especially since I'm a power user and technology director. I've been working with it on and off for about a year, and while I'm starting to move more seriously into developing a platform for my staff, the steep learning curve is challenging. I'd also like a few more font and alignment options.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to centralize all my information, helping streamline personal and work tasks. Its AI meeting notes efficiently filter into tasks, and relational databases track student progress. The customizable interface and AI tools enhance productivity without unnecessary complexity.

 ### 24. Flexible Databases and Views That Shine

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Databases and automations. Databases have flexible properties and views even on free plan is awesome and paid plan even better. Could improve but is great

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Automations are so limit on triggers and steps. Trigger can't be formulas or trigger other automations. Also steps can use like edit the page or properties of a page related to this page.

Also view, compared to Fibery can see information of two or more databases on the same view, that would be awesome on notion. Also Fibery has an architecture and normal user mode, this feature can be awesome for notion consultants

Also share to people pages are kind confusing,

Translated databases, not page are awfull

Notion templates/marketplace support are not so good, some users who gets templates get error, other just steal products from others as like they are theirs, features on marketplace are broken.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Is solving STORING information differently and view the same information on different views. Excel o google sheets are just columns and store more information like images video or more text is complex. In Notion I can create a row and open as a PAGE, thats the feature that made me felt in love with the app

 ### 25. Time-Saving Templates, Powerful Publish-to-Web, and Truly Helpful AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Serna M. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

Huge fan of the templates, they save so much time. Centralizing all our docs is great, but the "publish to web" feature is the real MVP for sharing specific pages externally. Also, the AI is actually useful for cleaning up messy notes or provide a really starting point for any document.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The Jira integration is a bit of a letdown. It feels like they're trying to replace Jira entirely rather than just playing nice with it. It’s simply not robust enough to handle complex dev ticketing, so it ends up feeling clunky rather than helpful.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It mostly solves the fragmentation chaos. Before, my PRDs were in GDocs, tickets in Jira, and random thoughts in Slack or Apple Notes. Notion centralizes everything so I have a single "brain" for the product. It stops me from wasting time hunting down that one spec sheet I wrote three weeks ago.

It also solves the friction of sharing. Instead of exporting PDFs or managing complex permissions for external stakeholders, I just flip a switch to make a roadmap or changelog public. It treats a document like a mini-website, which is huge for quick alignment.

Plus, the templates and AI cure "blank page syndrome".

 ### 26. Exceptional for Team Organization, Minor Integration Hiccups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake S. | Director of Product Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I appreciate how Notion organizes a lot of information in an easy-to-digest way and enables me to create better documents faster by having all of my context in one place. I really like Notion AI, the editing interface, and the databases with organizational capacity. Everything being in one place is incredibly helpful, as it saves me time and enables higher quality outputs that are much more similar to the ones I would create myself. My entire team runs on Notion, and we've collapsed various tools into one, which is fantastic. I find Notion to have a much better, more detailed, and cleaner interface compared to Confluence. It's also much more customizable, and the initial setup was easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Some of the integrations aren't as seamless. Specifically, I've had a lot of trouble setting up an agent to get product feedback from Slack into Notion and have it auto-categorize.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion organizes information in an easy-to-digest way, enabling me to create better documents faster by having all my context in one place. It saves me time and enables higher quality outputs. My entire team runs on Notion, collapsing various tools into one.

 ### 27. Versatile but Needs More Automation for Project Management

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elysia A. | Public Relations/Development Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion as a team wiki and project management tool. I like having a single place to collaborate and see assigned work. I find Notion versatile, as it can do a lot of things. I appreciate having different teamspaces that members can create to collaborate, and the permissions are decent and easy to understand to make sure only the people that need to see it can.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish Notion had more out of the box automations for using it as a project management tool. Being able to auto-adjust dates, flexibility of deleting tasks and adjusting dates. Auto-completing projects/tasks when all children are completed. It would be nice if notifications were always sent to your inbox. I also feel there's a need for an integrated or built-in proofing tool. The limitations on document storage and attachments can be a bit of a drawback. Additionally, the initial setup was difficult for me and my team.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion provides a single place to collaborate and see assigned work, making team coordination easier.

 ### 28. Dynamic and Personalized, But a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela P. | Marketing Intelligence and Pricing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion to organize my job as a Business Mentor and to share with my mentees spaces to follow their progress, which makes my life much easier. The possibility to personalize the templates, create from scratch, and connect directly with other users are major benefits for me. I build up templates that align with my mentorship, deliverables, and final reports, which is really appreciated by my mentees and increases the value perception to my clients. The Notion calendar is a big win for me as it avoids the need to connect to a different source like Google Calendar. I don’t guess what I should post anymore as I've already planned and organized everything. Notion gives me many possibilities, including using the Trello structure, and allows me to create much more templates and spaces on one page, improving organization and productivity.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think the left menu bar should show only the spaces in my page, not a page I’ve recently opened. A bit confused sometimes. Not that easy. I saw a bunch of YouTube videos and sincerely? I still need to improve. 8 because of complexity. The learning curve can be challenging.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize my business mentoring. It centralizes my content calendar and client follow-ups, eliminating the need for Google Calendar. Custom templates align with my mentorship, boosting client appreciation. Switching from Trello improved our organization and productivity.

 ### 29. Comprehensive Project & Resource Hub with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how many different things I can do with Notion and all the different views. I appreciate the ability to create custom views depending on what I want to see and keep everything in one spot. I also love that Notion connects to basically every other tool we use. Being able to see our active projects, the ones on pause, or completed is really helpful. We have a database for awards and a candidate database, and I can create custom views depending on who's looking at it. This flexibility is super valuable. Notion is integrated with Slack, Google Drive, and Google Calendar, and we really make use of the automation setup with Slack a lot.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I think sometimes it's not super user-friendly in the very beginning. Like, if somebody is a brand new user to Notion, there's definitely a learning curve because there's so many layers. I think there's just, like, too many options and tabs and all that kind of stuff. And I know there's, like, a resource hub where you can learn and look at that stuff, but it'd be nice if there's an actual built-in tutorial and to, like, start here and have a few examples of what you could do. It just feels like there's so many options that it almost is a little bit overcomplicated for the first person who's getting started and doesn't know what a database is. I've had people mess up sometimes the database views because they just don't know what they're doing.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for task management, tracking timelines, and maintaining a master project database. It allows us to create custom views and connect with every tool we use. We switched from monday.com to Notion because it also serves as a resource hub.

 ### 30. Flexibly Powerful, But Complex to Set Up

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaylan C. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for personal work as well as for company work. Personally, it helps me keep track of tasks. At work, it is our operating ecosystem to run our L10 meetings and everything we need to do task wise. I like the flexibility and customization, being able to make databases and things my own, customize colors, etc. I also use Notion with Google Drive.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish more features of access would be available on lower tiers. I also wish I could merge databases. Currently the ability to have certain people access specific things (like databases) is limited to higher tiers. As is AI functionality. I wish those could be standalone add-ons (like AI used to be). I also would love more flexibility with databases. So if there’s info from two databases, it would be amazing to find a way to merge them. It was honestly a beast to set up our work infrastructure on Notion. So not super easy. Because of the functionality we wanted. Also we wanted time keeping pieces that are not easily built in Notion.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep track of personal tasks and as our operating ecosystem for company work, like running L10 meetings and handling tasks.

 ### 31. Centralized Work Management with Notion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott P. | Entertainment Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how Notion makes it very seamless and organized to manage my ventures in different fields like entertainment, real estate, non-profit, and the hemp industry. It's easy to organize and move things around with Notion's layout and the many different tools it offers. I love that it consolidates many different apps I used to use into one central operating system. The integration with ChatGPT is also something I love, as it allows me to edit my Notion directly from chat. Notion just has more features and capabilities than what I was using before, like Trello. The setup was easier than I thought it would be, especially with help from ChatGPT and Notion AI, which made using it a lot easier. Notion allows me to accomplish work faster and with more confidence because I get the most relevant information across my different endeavors, and I can create action items quickly.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Can’t think of anything at the moment.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to keep everything organized across my various ventures. It consolidates multiple apps into one system, making my workflow faster and more efficient. Notion's tools and AI help me manage databases, update information, and create action items quickly.

 ### 32. Empowered Our Team as a Centralized Knowledge Hub

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion as the operational layer of our organization, primarily for meeting notes, agendas, and our knowledge library. I like the AI Meeting Notes feature, which helps me create overviews for easy follow-up after meetings and action items. I also appreciate the ability to create databases with validation, which allows me to maintain a knowledge library that's regularly checked and reverified instead of having documentation scattered in different places. The initial setup was easy, and I have several integrations with Google Sheets and Zendesk for pulling reports from Salesforce into Notion and publishing client-facing knowledge center articles to Zendesk.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The AI Meeting Notes sometimes struggle to assign the appropriate speaker to them. I'd like the ability to create a second 'Home' style page for databases.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion serves as the operational layer of our organization, primarily used for meeting notes, agendas, and our knowledge library. The AI Meeting Notes help create overviews for easy follow-up, and databases ensure our knowledge is regularly checked and updated.

 ### 33. Modern, Intuitive, Needs Better Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yichi C. | Assistant Set Designer

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really love the ability to drag and drop text blocks with comprehensive text features such as toggle lists and sync blocks. It's very convenient because sync blocks help link a source of truth content across multiple documents, updating in one place can update multiple places. Notion is much modern and the UX is much easier to understand compared to Confluence. The initial setup was pretty easy, and we were able to migrate from Confluence to Notion in a few weeks.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Automation in Notion is not great compared to its competitors like Clicked-Up or Airtable. Most things need to be manually done unless you pay for a premium fee. AI features are all gated as well which make it not possible for a small/mid organization to utilize them properly without being cost prohibitive. Notion still doesn't handle large databases well if you use the database feature.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for sharing knowledge and keeping a record of feature documents for collaboration. It functions as an internal wiki and project management tool, handling roadmaps and backlog management efficiently.

 ### 34. Intuitive, Collaborative, and Highly Customizable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew W. | Director of Product Management, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love the ability to use relational databases in Notion without everyone needing to be fluent in SQL. It's very powerful and is the biggest advantage for me. The UI in Notion is also just very intuitive and delightful to use. It provides all the power of building front-end and back-end applications using relational databases, wrapped with UIs and views to view all the data. As someone who is not heavily technical, being able to build tools to solve our internal problems at our organization with Notion is very satisfying.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

We're still struggling a little bit with the granular permissions. Sometimes we expect something to work for someone with a certain permission but it doesn't work like we'd expect. I'd also love the ability to set passcodes when publishing things publicly. Right now, either everyone needs a Notion account, or it's available to the world. I wish there was an option in between where we could publish things to non-Notion account users but still have an extra level of security with a password. Otherwise, I'm actually rotating published URLs to ensure things don't end up in the wrong hands of competition. Also, there's not a native integration with Azure DevOps, and we're waiting to switch to GitHub projects just for the native integration.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize projects and tasks both personally and at work. It provides a single source of truth, enhances transparency, facilitates collaboration, and makes information accessible. It's also great for using relational databases without needing SQL proficiency.

 ### 35. Organizes Tasks Beautifully, Needs Mobile Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carina C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the way that I'm able to organize to-do lists and even use it for my family management stuff. I love the ability to record meetings, finding it very accurate when listening into a meeting and putting together notes and next steps for me. The to-do lists help me keep on schedule for all the things I need to do, giving me a place to share it with others and stay on top of what's done and what still needs to be done. The meeting notes feature is very helpful, allowing me to be more engaged in meetings without rushing to take notes, as I rely on Notion to do the AI meeting summary, which I usually revisit for next steps and action items. Also, the initial setup of Notion was very easy and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The mobile experience is not as great. I'd like to be able to visit it on my mobile a lot for referencing things that I have, but I just find it, hard to read and hard to find stuff and navigate.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to organize to-do lists and for family management. It helps me stay on schedule and share tasks with others. Notion's meeting recording is accurate and allows me to stay engaged, summarizing notes and next steps for me.

 ### 36. Effective for Project Management, But Can Be Overloaded

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake H. | Music Data Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the simpleness and ease of using Notion. Getting things in and out is smooth and fast, which is something I appreciate compared to other programs like Confluence or Asana, which can be slow and confusing. I find Notion's search tool excellent, making it easy to find and retrieve information. The organization of documents and the use of Kanban boards is great—everything looks and functions well. I also found it really easy to set up, especially since it starts off simple, which makes it friendly for onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't love the AI stuff yet. I think it has some value, but I use enough tools like Claude and such outside of Notion that I don't really need their AI tools. So I feel like that's a bit distracting, and they're trying to push it everywhere. It's not something I need inside of Notion. So I'd say I could just disable and remove it. There's some more complicated documents, and embeds and attachments that I think are a bit clunky in Notion and could maybe be a bit better. It's got a bit bloated, a bit too many features for what I think would be good for a streamlined and doc platform.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps us track client projects and manage products. It's simple and easy to use, making it fast to navigate and organize documents, especially Kanban boards. It simplifies getting stuff in and out, which is smoother compared to other tools I've used.

 ### 37. Streamlined Task Management, But Needs Better Cross-Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like how I can integrate Notion with tools like Claude, making updates much quicker and the process less manual. It saves me time since I used to have separate meetings and manually update Notion based on those meetings. Now, notes can be reformatted into subtasks and uploaded into Notion, streamlining the workflow.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Now this may be just simply a workflow thing, but what I do find at the moment is that we have a team Notion for the performance marketing team, but we have many projects that require assistance from other departments. So, typically, we would create a project board with our projects, and then we would tag people from other teams, and we would put the steps in. However, these steps often require more of a breakdown on their side, so they will then create secondary boards. I think in this case, what I would prefer is if it was easier to duplicate content across different Notion boards, but it would update automatically. So if I updated the task on the performance marketing side, it would be updated in the clone that was, for instance, on the data team side. Just to make sure that everybody has the same information in real time. Lately we decided that we had to move the entire performance marketing team notion outside of the marketing one, as information was getting lost, with no real time syncing. As such, we created a new space with new pages etc. For us, it was a little bit time consuming. So, actually, lately, we've had to duplicate everything and pull it out again and go through this process of setting up everything from scratch. That has been a little bit time consuming. If there would have been an easy way to have imported things from Google Docs, that would have been good. But maybe I just I'm not aware of it.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to store information centrally, improving teamwork across departments. It integrates with Claude, making updates faster and the process less manual, saving me time.

 ### 38. Customizable Organization for Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for work to manage different projects, document processes, and build out tracking systems. It's easy to collaborate, and I appreciate how customizable it is. The ability to organize things easily is a big plus for me. I love how editable the tables are, allowing me to add my own fields and visualize data effectively. These tables make it easy to organize information like lists, where I can easily add tons of information. I find it easier to organize and find info in Notion compared to Google Sheets. The initial setup was easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I’d love if the AI could build more things for me like Claude can. I’d like it to be more chat-like and more responsive to feedback.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion to manage projects, document processes, and build tracking systems. It's easy to collaborate, customize, and organize, with editable tables making information organization simple. Switching from Google Sheets, I find it easier to organize and find info in Notion.

 ### 39. Essential Knowledge Bank with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neelkanth L. | Software development engineer 2, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love that Notion gives me the space to clearly articulate my thoughts about the product and share them with my teammates even beyond the immediate team. It acts as a central knowledge bank for the company, capturing the product’s history, decisions, and learnings in one place. This makes collaboration easier, improves transparency, and ensures that important context is never lost over time.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It would be helpful if Notion introduced better and deeper AI integration, such as smarter search across workspace content, automatic summarization of long pages, better writing and grammar suggestions.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion as a central knowledge bank for product decisions, making it easy to review past discussions and understand the evolution of the product. It also helps us create and document technical specifications, maintain architectural diagrams, and keep important product information organized in one place. This makes collaboration smoother and ensures that both current and new team members can quickly get up to speed on the product and its technical foundations.

 ### 40. The One-Stop Solution for Life Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daz G. | Product Manager, Gambling & Casinos, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love using Notion as a life management system because it's super flexible, acting like a kitchen sink of tools where I can make it do anything I want and display information however I like. The clean UI helps me store all my information neatly, organizing tasks, notes, and project data efficiently. The databases are fantastic for structuring and tagging life management items, like books, important notes, and website content. Using different views, especially galleries, keeps me engaged. The AI layers on top elevate the experience, helping me edit and populate databases in a next-level way. Setting up was a breeze since it was mostly self-taught through YouTube tutorials. Notion replaced multiple small tools like Todoist and Basecamp, because it does everything in one place with one UI.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Sometimes the clean, clutter-free layout could be more desired. I'd love a much more focused, contextualized to-do list system and Notion can achieve this with a little work.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion functions as my life management system, keeping me organized with task and note management. It allows me to prioritize, organize, and tag information, manage my website content, and offers flexible views and AI features that enhance engagement and productivity.

 ### 41. Comprehensive Collaboration and Data Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harrison K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for collaboration, creating pages and databases, and as an intranet. I like that it's basically like Google Suite rolled into one platform. The ability to create a structure to store information at an organizational level is great, and instead of clicking into different files, you directly navigate through them. I appreciate the integration of storage and utility. Notion makes information more accessible to me and those I work with, helping me stay organized and work more efficiently. The initial setup was easy, which I found helpful.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

There's nothing that doesn't work well, maybe the privacy and sharing could be improved, e.g., row-level access in databases. Page unlinking in the sharing hierarchy can cause problems with connectors, and in general, the Notion API access could be improved so that the limiters don't disrupt work.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps me collaborate with my team and store data for reporting, making information accessible and enhancing organization and efficiency.

 ### 42. Endlessly Flexible and Adaptable Workspace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia S. | MoRE Fellow - Marie Curie / FP7-PEOPLE - Västra Götaland Regionen, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for everything more or less, like organizing tasks, projects, writing, taking notes, and summarizing. I really love the flexibility it offers. I can adapt it to whatever I want and change my databases and views on the fly. It provides endless possibilities. I can connect what I need and see what I want by creating master databases on a page, then building several dashboards with dedicated views. I select what I want to see and how, which makes it particularly valuable to me. I use Relay to seamlessly integrate with Notion, recording or scanning and sending it directly to my notes. Notion is my headquarter, and I always recommend it, giving it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Permits inside databases, individual permits for properties. AI also, agents are great but becoming expensive. Quite hard initial setup, but once you get it, there's no way to go back to anything else. The best way is just reverse engineering what others created.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for organizing tasks, writing, note-taking, and creation. It helps me tackle procrastination and keeps my schedule clear. The AI assists in building without friction, making it easier to prioritize and stay focused.

 ### 43. Flexible AI-Enabled Platform with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoffrey G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I appreciate Notion's secure AI platform and database functionality. Its flexibility and agility are great, and the scalable performance really stands out. Notion excels at outlining context or RAG functionality to guide LLMs to relevant and accurate database sources for AI queries. I also find Notion to be an extremely flexible platform for building a variety of solutions, like project management databases, nested databases, and even learning-management systems.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

The UI is simple, but very opaque for new users. There's a sharp learning curve for digging deeper into the value of the solution. You shouldn't have to be a Notion super-user to be able to unlock more value quickly. Also, some of the page formatting tools aren't ideal. And it should be much easier to recover or audit changes to pages and databases: this is really important when you're operating Notion as a system-of-record at enterprise scale and you have a lot of potential editors! It's easy to use superficially. But not easy to activate higher-value database and agent functionality.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for knowledge management and alignment of a distributed team. It helps with AI-adoption, provides a secure AI platform, and excels at managing relevant database queries for AI while being flexible for building solutions like project management and learning management systems.

 ### 44. Effortless Team Coordination with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam C. | Revenue Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for team planning, strategy, and creating general information spaces. I find it super clear and easy to organize my jumbled thoughts. I like how the layout and interface have become the standard for lots of tools and how clear and easy it is to digest and process information. It's a clear way to share important company information with other team members and doubles up as a knowledge base to save me time. The AI tool is great to get started and really intuitive to use. The initial setup was so easy, I couldn't fault it.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Honestly not much. Would love some more free templates.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion provides a super clear, easy way to organize my jumbled thoughts and share important company information with my team, doubling as a knowledge base to save time.

 ### 45. Flexible Knowledge Management with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Radu G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I use Notion for both work and home, and I find its flexibility and interconnectivity incredibly valuable. It helps with knowledge management, acting as my second brain. I really appreciate the databases and embedded AI features at work as they help me stay on top of what I develop, project assets, summaries, and sharing thought pieces. Notion allows embedding knowledge in the project setup, not just tracking the project. As a power certified user, I found the initial setup easy.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

Custom agents didn’t really work out for me. They feel much lesser to what Claude offers out of the box. Claude's agents feel smarter and easier to set up and tweak, and they're much more versatile in terms of data sources. There's also a steeper learning curve for my audience.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps with knowledge management, acting as my second brain. It organizes development work, project assets, and shared content effectively. Transitioning from Asana, it embeds knowledge in project setups, not just tracking tasks.

 ### 46. A central hub for organizing everything in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

What I appreciate most about Notion is its level of customization.

The tool is built on a simple structure, yet it’s flexible enough to create fully tailored workspaces. You can start with very simple use cases and gradually evolve towards more complex and structured workflows.

The learning curve is also very progressive. It’s easy to get started, and you can discover more advanced features over time without feeling overwhelmed at the beginning.

Databases are a particularly strong feature. They allow you to structure information, create different views (tables, lists, dashboards), and build systems that are both powerful and easy to use on a daily basis.

I also value the fact that Notion is a true all-in-one tool. It brings together notes, projects, databases, and documentation in one place, which helps avoid juggling between multiple tools.

Another key advantage is its pricing. Even with the free plan, it’s possible to build very solid systems. As needs grow, the paid plans remain accessible considering the value provided — it’s a tool that can support the full organization of an activity.

Finally, it feels like a real “safe place” — whether used individually or collaboratively, it provides a clear and controlled environment to organize ideas, projects, and work.

There are still some areas for improvement, particularly around performance in larger workspaces, but overall the value it provides largely outweighs these limitations.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

While Notion is a very powerful tool, there are still a few areas that could be improved.

The frequency of updates can sometimes feel overwhelming. While most changes are positive, they can be quite frequent, requiring users to constantly adapt their workflows and habits, especially when using the tool on a daily basis.

There is also a strong emphasis on AI features. While they can be useful in certain contexts, their prominence can feel a bit excessive and may not align with every user’s needs. A more balanced or customizable approach would be appreciated.

Performance can also become a limitation, particularly in larger or highly structured workspaces, where navigation may slow down.

Finally, while flexibility is one of Notion’s greatest strengths, it can also be a challenge. Without an initial framework, it’s easy to end up with workspaces that are difficult to structure or maintain over time.

That said, Notion’s ability to evolve quickly is a strong advantage, and these aspects will likely improve as the product continues to mature.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Notion, I relied on multiple tools to manage notes, projects, and information. This made organization more complex, with time lost switching between tools and a lack of overall visibility.

Now, Notion allows me to centralize everything in one place. I can structure information, track projects, and organize ideas in a much clearer and more consistent way.

The main benefit is the time saved on a daily basis, along with improved clarity. Having everything in one place makes it easier to stay organized and make decisions.

Notion also enables the creation of scalable systems: what starts as simple organization can gradually evolve into a more structured and comprehensive workspace as needs grow.

Finally, it improves collaboration. Sharing information, working with others, and keeping everyone aligned becomes much easier within a single, structured environment.

 ### 47. AI-Powered Excellence for documentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I really like some of Notion's AI features, which let me go deep into finding information from a very big knowledge base. It's a better version of Google Doc for writing stuff. The AI helps me search stuff very well across Notion, making it very efficient. My onboarding was extremely simple, and I appreciate the SSO smart redirects and deep links built in really well. I like the depth in which the setup was taken care of. Notion has also scaled well with our growing team from less than 50 to about 200 people.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I don't know. There should be some way to automatically do, like, categorization. Also, if Notion can become better in terms of how agents like Cloud Code and Codex interact with it so that, for example, when I'm writing stuff, it just saves stuff somewhere randomly and I tell it to find the relevant place. If it can just give enough context to the AI agents who can utilize Notion in a better manner, that would be great. Also, maybe, like, identify what is written by AI agent and what is manually modified because there's a lot of slop coming.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps with searching through documentation in the knowledge base. The AI features make finding information easy, and it's a better version of Google Doc for writing.

 ### 48. Transforms Ideas into Organized Systems

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pilar B. | Founder & CEO , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love Notion because it helps us organize our work documents, safety plans, tasks, marketing ideas, and website build-out. It's creative enough to support brainstorming and structured enough for real business planning. Notion has helped turn a lot of moving pieces into clear, workable systems. I love the customizable aspect with Unsplash for cover and uploadable icons, which help me customize each page. Despite the initial learning curve with its Lego block system, once understood, it turns out to be a good system. Overall, I find the initial setup easy, and my team and I love Notion.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

It can be complicated to learn at first, especially the Lego block system.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notion helps organize work documents, plans, and ideas, turning complex systems into clear, workable processes. It's creative for brainstorming and structured for business planning.

 ### 49. Versatile Workspace with Seamless Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel S. | Digital Transformation Honcho, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I like the AI meeting notes feature as it makes capturing relevant notes to tasks and projects easy. I also appreciate the ease of customization on project boards or databases, and the simplicity of content creation with plenty of markdown features. The ability to move content around easily or structure it as needed is a plus. Notion's integrations and the notification system stand out too, making it a very integrated experience in one workspace.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I dislike the permission settings in Notion, which make it difficult to edit or change specific fields on a database. I'd like the ability to make fields mandatory. More integration with MCP would also be great.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for content creation and sharing, task and workflow management, and much more. AI meeting notes help capture relevant notes, and customization eases project management. Notion organizes everything in one workspace, unlike Jira, which lacked an integrated experience.

 ### 50. Seamless UI and AI Integration Supercharge Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Notion?**

I love Notion for its seamless UI/UX design which makes scrolling and adding components feel aesthetic. The AI integration with Notion Business has significantly eased my task management. It helps me create day-by-day task templates for each course with columns for date, task, and time allocated. I also find making organized task templates very useful for managing my university courses and extracurricular activities. I gave it a 10 out of 10 for recommending it to a friend or colleague.

**What do you dislike about Notion?**

I wish there was student pricing on AI integration, other than that, there’s nothing that really needs improvement.

**What problems is Notion solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Notion for organized task templates for university. The seamless UI/UX and AI integration simplify task management, making it easier to create detailed day-by-day task templates.
