I like the communication in monday Work Management. I can stay connected with coworkers across the country and keep everyone working on a file on the same page when something major goes wrong. We can relay updates quickly. I also like being able to organize files, keep track of recurring problems with different lenders, and tick off details like closing dates, contract end dates, and appraised values. Having worked extensively with monday Work Management, I have found it to be a highly effective platform for managing projects, coordinating teams, and maintaining real-time visibility across ongoing operations. One of the aspects I value most is the level of control and transparency it provides to company management. Project leaders can monitor progress, follow updates as they happen, and maintain a clear overview of what is taking place on site without having to rely entirely on separate reports or constant communication.

From a site management perspective, the ability to upload photographs and videos directly to updates is particularly useful. I have used this functionality to document site progress, completed work, issues, materials, and other important developments as they occur. Because these updates are immediately visible to the relevant team members, information can be communicated much faster and with considerably less ambiguity. In practice, this creates a live record of the project rather than relying solely on retrospective reporting.

I also appreciate the platform's interface and overall user experience. The update system feels somewhat similar to social media, which makes it intuitive even for users who may not have extensive experience with project management software. Team members can post updates, attach media, comment, and follow developments in a familiar and straightforward way. This significantly reduces the learning curve and makes communication more natural within a project environment.

Another feature I have found particularly valuable is the ability to organize and review information chronologically. Over time, the accumulation of dated updates effectively creates a structured digital history of the project. I can scroll back through previous updates, review photographs and videos, and quickly understand how a particular situation developed. In that sense, monday Work Management combines aspects of project management with the convenience of cloud-based document and media storage.

Compared with platforms such as Jira, my experience with monday Work Management has been considerably more straightforward, particularly from a non-programming and operational perspective. It does not require extensive technical knowledge to configure boards, workflows, updates, assignments, and project structures. I was able to adapt the platform to practical site-management requirements without having to depend on programming or complicated configurations.

The built-in Sidekick AI has also made the setup and ongoing management of the platform significantly more efficient. It has been useful for creating and modifying workflows, structuring information, and accelerating tasks that would otherwise require considerable manual configuration. This allowed me to spend more time focusing on the actual project and less time dealing with the mechanics of setting up the management system.

Overall, after using monday Work Management extensively in a real project and site-management environment, I consider it a very capable and practical platform. Its combination of real-time visibility, multimedia updates, chronological organization, intuitive communication, flexible workflow management, and AI-assisted configuration makes it particularly well suited to environments where information needs to move quickly between the site, project management, and company leadership. For my day-to-day work, it has proven to be not simply a task-management tool, but a centralized operational system for keeping project information visible, organized, and continuously updated. Monday is very easy to use. Our team started using it when we realized we needed to move beyond our many Excel trackers and adopt a more centralized way to manage our work. Since we had little to no experience with task management systems, its intuitive interface made the transition easier and helped drive team adoption. I use monday Work Management to keep everything organized and keep track of new leads and customer follow-ups. When someone submits a building design for a quote, their contact details and building specs come into our CRM automatically. It helps our workflow go much smoother and keeps us from losing track of jobs. It’s simple and easy to use once you get used to it, and it helps me save time and be more efficient. I like that monday Work Management is quite generic, allowing us to customize its use the way we see it. It's also very adaptable to new technology and new needs, which means it's never stale. This adaptability helps us manage newer types of app activities, whether it's saving up a voice note or other needs. Everything we think about needing is available through monday. As a small company without a proprietary tool, we use monday Work Management for various purposes like CRM, pipeline management, project management, and record keeping. The ability to tweak its functions for different purposes, along with the notification and pinging functions, makes it very valuable to us. I've noticed that sometimes monday Work Management experiences a few hours of downtime. Since we work from different locations, the app needs to be running 24/7. The downtime is really the only issue we've faced, where the tool could be down for a couple of hours at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how the AI system can help people who don’t know the program address issues that administration might not see as cost-effective to resolve, before they get worse. I also like the AI agents and automation because they can resolve these issues while reducing the number of people needed to address problems that aren’t considered very important. They could help identify students and take attendance, track which students leave for the bathroom, and report which students cut class or may need more intervention. I think the main thing is going to be cost. The NYC DOE is a public service, and they are not willing to spend money. The biggest pushback will be finding value and whether some of these tasks are worthwhile enough to pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
