"7 Years of Partnership"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

Over the past seven years, our partnership with Mightycause has been nothing short of transformative for YBGB and Give 8/28. What’s been most helpful is their consistent tech support, thoughtful collaboration, and true commitment to uplifting Black-led nonprofits. They've helped us build infrastructure, grow our reach, and create a seamless giving experience that centers community and impact. We don’t just have a platform in Mightycause—we have a trusted partner in the movement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mightycause?

One of the least helpful moments in our seven-year partnership was during a period of misalignment with a previous project manager. Unfortunately, her lack of enthusiasm, limited problem-solving support, and overall disinterest in Give 8/28 set a disappointing tone and created unnecessary stress for our team. It was a tough experience that impacted both our planning and trust at the time—but we’re grateful that since then, communication and collaboration have improved significantly with a new project manager- one who takes initiative, problem solves and has an abundance of giving day experience that shows. "Easy to use for a small non-profit"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

Mightycause is a great tool for small non-profits. The ease of use, onboarding, and comprehensive nature of the platform are exactly what we needed in a first CRM to launch our fundraising efforts. If you're looking to build the initial stages of your fundraising and development efforts, then Mightycause is your platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mightycause?

A bit of the reporting tools on constituents are not as robust as you'd find in larger systems (e.g. Salesforce), but that's ok. That's not necessarily it's selling point. I'd say it also lacks in some more robust communications tools, but there are strong integrations with other communication tools and automation platforms (e.g., Zapier), that create opportunities for robust communications. "An affordable and functional solution - great for small teams!"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

MightyCause has been a lifesaver for our org. It makes it incredibly easy to process one time and recurring donations, and syncs seamlessly with Salesforce.

We also really love how easy it is to setup Team and peer to peer fundraiser - this has made it especially easy to rally our community, particularly during the pandemic years. We still use it today, and our donors love the preset template we were able to make - they say that it makes their user experience a breeze! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mightycause?

When we first started using MightyCause, we had a dedicated support manager and it was super easy to get what you knew was dedicated 1:1 care. They have done some restructuring, and now we no longer have that 1:1 support. That said, even though our tickets go to a pool, they still respond quickly and are very helpful! "Easy to use & a great value!"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

As our organization grew we found that we really needed a better way to increase our donor base and to focus more on fundraising. We started out using another platform and when their prices increased substantially, we moved to MightyCause because it was much more affordable and seemed like it would fit our needs. It ended up being a really great decision! Transitioning from our old platform to MightyCause was fairly easy. MightyCause is really intuitive and easy to use, and when we have had any issues or questions, customer support has been excellent. We were initially using it to communicate with donors & volunteers too, but switched over to MailChimp and MightyCause integrates to that fairly well, which has been helpful. Since we are a small non-profit everyone wears several hats, so to speak, so I appreciate that it is very easy to quickly make fundraising campaigns that look appealing, and that the platform makes it easy to track donors and analyze data. Overall MightyCause is a great value, easy to use, and we love the customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mightycause?

I really don't have any major complaints. The only think I don't love is that when donors dedicate a donation in honor of, or in memory of someone, that information shows up in the email notification we receive when the donation is made, but doesn't show up on the donation record data inside the platform. Usually when I write a thank you card I will mention that "in honor of" so that means I have to double check the info in my email rather than just using the list of recent donations in the platform. It is just my own preference that this info somehow be included in the donation record within the platform somehow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect Platform for Our 24-Hour Giving Day"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

We used MightyCause exclusively for our 24-hour online giving day, and it exceeded expectations in every way. The platform was intuitive and visually appealing, making it easy to build excitement and engage donors throughout the day.

Setting up our campaign page was straightforward, and the customization options helped us stay true to our branding. The real-time progress tracking and donation notifications kept our team motivated and helped us keep supporters informed and energized.

What stood out most was the reliability of the platform during a high-traffic day — no glitches, no delays, just smooth performance from start to finish. The support team was also incredibly responsive, answering our last-minute questions quickly and clearly.

MightyCause made a stressful fundraising day feel manageable — even fun. We’ll definitely use it again.

Pros:

Seamless setup for time-sensitive campaigns

Real-time fundraising updates and metrics

User-friendly interface for both donors and admins

"WOW good support"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

The support is great! Ease of Use Number of Features I was able to sign up my business and I was able to get donations for my non profit. I was shocked at the ease of the patform in getting started. Give for Good Louisville Campaign Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Team and Product"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

What I've found most helpful and impressive is the team/staff support at Mightycause - the webinars they do, and the videos explaining features/"how to" information are really great. When I've needed support, they were quick to respond over email as well. And the donation dashboard works well and is easy to use to see donations at a glance for a month, which is helpful when reporting those out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mightycause?

It's possible I've missed this feature, but I would love to be able to export individual donation information (like a "receipt" for our tracking and accounting needs). It doesn't seem that's something we can do with our account level perhaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very Good Platform and Customer Service"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

We have used Mightycause for a few years now. It was pretty easy to implement and we find it pretty user friendly. The Customer Support is friendly and helpful. Their timeliness in responding is good. There are many features that are helpful in fundraising and lots of great webinars. We use the platform all year round. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mightycause?

Sometimes there are issues that we cannot solve on our end and that is frustrating. Especially if it is not during regular business hours. We use Constant Contact and it is not part of integration compatability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A functional solution for orgs with limited funds"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

Mightycause provides a way to receive donations. It's fees and monthly subscription are low which can make it attractive to smaller orgs with limited resources. We subscribe to the lowest version, Essentials. This version lets us receive donations, create links, produce reports, and export activity to other programs for sending donor statements. If all you need is way to receive funds, Essentials will effectively meet this need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mightycause?

While fees charged to the organization are low, if a donor choses to cover the fees themselves, they shoot up dramatically. This is something to keep in mind if you are wanting to encourage donors to cover those fees. Donations received outside of MC can be logged but once they are logged it is impossible to edit the donor information. It is also not possible to see the donor information without downloading it. There is no functionality for producing donor statements and not even the most minimal CRM functions. All these are available as upgrades. I also find that some of the most simple and oft needed things like a link to the account for a donor are not obvious enough that I can find them without searching. If you are not in the program often, as we are not, it seems to require a constant learning curve for any process you haven't already figured out. I don't know if this continues to be true at the upgraded levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MightyCause/Razoo non-profit user for 15 years"
What do you like best about Mightycause?

The ease of putting together fundraising campaigns and the donation receipts being sent automatically to donors is the biggest bang for our buck. The support is top-notch; we had a few instances where we needed some assistance (primarily with the matching campaign tools) and we are always able to reach someone quickly to help guide us through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mightycause?

The main frustration has been the lack of flexibility when embedding a donation form on our website; it would be nice to have more control over the appearance. That being said, it has come a long way in recent years, so I imagine it will continue to evolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
