No complaints, Martal team delivered the expected results.

They were running both account-based marketing campaigns, targeting a short list of companies, and bulk campaigns as well. We received live updates when the lead was sales qualified and discussed progress on weekly calls.

They had a deep understanding of our product and industry.

We don't have marketing teams, so we needed a partner who can handle marketing automation and launch email and call campaigns for us.

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

We chose Martal over their competitors for two key reasons: 1) as our company grows, Martal can provide additional assistance in the sales pipeline beyond connecting us to leads. This assistance was hugely important to us as a company because our internal team is very specialized, and this option allows us to remain lean and focused on our core mission. 2) They don’t just send emails - they use a combination of emails, LinkedIn, and phone calls. This combination sets them apart from the other providers.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

We get a static weekly report. However, I’d love to have improved visibility into the interactions with potential leads - specifically, access to a live dashboard with numbers showing email open rates and the like.

**Recommendations to others considering Martal Group:**

Engage early enough that you have time to fix glaring problems that will affect inbound. Talk to other providers to get a sense of what is offered. Don’t go with a company that relies on fake accounts and fake engagement.

We’re an early-stage, highly-focused technical startup, and Martal allows us to develop our business without spending the time, effort, and money on dedicated headcount as we ramp up. They’re filling a competency need that we don’t have internally. They’re also helping us clarify our market positioning and bring conversations to the table.

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

We’ve been very impressed with the work ethic, can-do attitude, and coachability of Martal’s business development reps. We continuously ask Martal to focus on our ideal customer profile, uncover pain points/challenges within our target prospects, and be agile enough to create and execute seasonal campaigns.

Martal's Sales development reps ask thoughtful questions in our weekly meetings to better understand our value proposition and core solutions. They take our industry expertise and campaign improvement suggestions seriously to deliver more booked appointments and better qualify prospects for our internal Directors of Business Development. They also utilize resources provided by our marketing team to nurture leads more effectively, establish their credibility, and provide value to our prospects.  

Their SDRs do a great job proactively reaching out to us when they are ready to convert the meeting, providing relevant background information and conversation notes. As a result, we have a very high percentage of scheduled meetings that successfully take place. Martal listens to feedback from our Sales team to better qualify prospects, have successful calls, and create new opportunities.

Finally, Martal has shown its expertise in today’s complex B2B lead generation space. They proactively measure many data points around campaign performance and reach out to us if and when they identify roadblocks or areas of improvement, particularly around maintaining robust email domain health and deliverability.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

No dislikes. There have been times when we have asked Martal’s reps to redefine their target contacts within each organization. We maintain a large sales organization that works on another segment of our business with different buyers within the Enterprise. We want to ensure we do not ruffle feathers or interfere in their existing relationships. Martal reps have listened to our feedback, and today they focus on outreach to the proper segments of each organization.

**Recommendations to others considering Martal Group:**

The outsourced lead generation/sales development space is crowded with many players. We spoke to several companies with various business models and offerings. Ultimately we selected Martal due to their collaborative nature, the experience level and professionalism of their reps, and their competitive pricing model. We sell complex B2B solutions and needed experienced SDRs who can effectively communicate with C-Level and Senior Leadership and navigate complex organizations. Martal Group was a great choice to help our organization fill the top of the funnel.

**What problems is Martal Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Martal Group is helping to fill our pipeline by prospecting for potential clients through multiple marketing channels and booking meetings with sales-ready leads. Our organization has an experienced group of Business Development Directors with strong books of business and long-standing relationships. However, these existing clients occupy a large percentage of their time, and they do not have a lot of bandwidth to go after new clients or hunt for new opportunities consistently. Martal Group has provided lift by helping us reach out to target accounts, identify new prospects, and successfully book appointments which to date have converted to over $10M in new business opportunities. Martal began outreach quickly, delivering new meetings and opportunities within the first 30 days, and today they continue to fill a large gap in our new business pipeline.

Leads prospecting was our biggest hurdle. When the right leads entered our funnel, they were easy to convert, but the labor hours required to find prospects increased our cost per acquisition. Martal Group took over the entire process for us so we could speed up our sales cycle and conserve our resources. Now, we no longer have to worry about a stagnant pipeline, and our sales team’s time is used more efficiently!

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

I love that they have the vision to approach different people at our ICP accounts to find new ways to engage them. In addition to that, I love their simple approach to project management. they have the discipline and customer service that keeps us on track. Overall my team is great! Each person brings a different POV and skill set and together they are really strong. Also we enjoy working together.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

I think my own dislike is that I am not a user in their systems so I can't see their conversations day to day. I get reports and they forward stuff to us. In a way this is a blessing because it keeps me from going down rabbit holes.

**Recommendations to others considering Martal Group:**

Spend time defining and refining your ICP.  Martal will deliver better results if they know what you need. Simplify your messaging. Technology can be complex and there is a temptation to teach them everything about your tech. it isn't necessary. They need the core stuff to get people interested - then pass them to your SMEs. Lastly, let them do what they do best. Don't try to change their approach or model - just give them advice on your own business/tech/customers. Then stay engaged as they bring people in and start facing objections. You will learn a lot.

**What problems is Martal Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to do outbound lead gen to support a new technology service. Our internal sales team were busy with existing clients in segments we could not afford to neglect. Using a separate team to do the multi-touch heavy lifting top of funnel freed up our folks  - especially the SMEs. Also, our internal sales team did not have the systems or audience (databases) to find new clients.

Short turnaround at first, but after it's stabilized.

Martal helped us to develop a new business line round AI-driven video-analytics solutions. They introduced us to several potential vendors in that area and helped us choose the proper one. We also used Martal as a sales partner to create new leads mostly in the government sector. We have attended three conferences and created multiple opportunities for our service.

Aside from the results (what's not to like about success!) is that the Martal team is fully engaged with our team. We communicate throughout the day to fine-tune the message, deal with possible objections and move the prospect on to the demonstration stage.

This is one rare instance where there's nothing to dislike. Again, overall, one of the best partners I've worked with.

The Martal Group is VERY engaged and functions best when they work with companies that can equal their energy and commitment to excellence. As with most positive relationships, you get out of it what you put in and if you provide Martal with guidance, share all the information you can about your ICP, your strategy, what's worked and what hasn't worked in past relationships, there's little doubt that they'll be successful for you.

We are a provider of Saas Software to mid-large companies in the Pharma, CPG, Retail, and MFG and needed to jumpstart our sales process. The sales process is complex - multiple stakeholders across various functional groups - and Martal presented our value proposition to each of these groups with clarity and professionalism. This resulted in opportunities with the right prospects at the right companies who were interested in learning about our platform.

To summarize in 3 words, they are disciplined, consistent, and flexible. It is crucial in building business, and they will likely be our long-term partners.

- Priced as 1 FTE but delivers results as 1/2 FTE 
- Lack of visibility on MQLs and prospects making it really hard to track engagement
- Reporting is rudimentary out of Excel sheet with limited visibility (competitor has much more sophisticated solutions)
- Team lead resists feedback and provides extensive pushback for even small additional tasks out of scope

I am the CEO of web design, branding and development agency, Benkendorf Group. We work with SaaS and IT start ups, our clients come from all over the world, but mainly, North America. We were always interested in expanding our potential there. We have been working with American and Canadian clients for some time, but most of our opportunities came from networking. Lead generation and cold selling was a challenge for us, and this is where we decided to turn to the expertise of Martal Group.We provided the Martal’s team with our ideal customer profile, outreach templates and filled in a detailed questionnaire to specify what we are looking for.
Martal Group does lead generation and sales consulting for us. As an Eastern Europe based company, we benefit a lot from their expertise of a North American market. Beware of working with them! You will waste a ton of money and time. Instead of results, all you will get are excess payment bills and threats. If you are a startup or a SaaS company, be very careful!

Since we just relocated to the US, we expected Martal Group to help us penetrate the North American market (that's what they claimed their expertise is). They are expensive because they hire local people as SDRs, unlike some agencies which usually work from countries where the cost of living is cheaper. However, the claim is far from reality, they neither had the experience nor put in the hard work to get any results.

**Describe the project or task Martal Group helped with:**

QuaeNet is a private company and we work in the IoT industry in the IT and telecom markets. We offer an IoT solution to small, medium, and large enterprises. I work as a director of the network operations for the company in the technical field. We saw that the market in the US was quite big and the IoT industry had been booming for the last two years. It is still booming compared to the Canadian market, so we were looking for a company to help us to start selling our products in the US. Martal Group does online campaigns, specifically email and social media. They are trying to sell the product and also trying to generate new leads until we sign the contract with the customer, and then we take over everything.

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

We have a very good sales pipeline now, and we have started to measure whether we have enough opportunities. We measure this every week and look at the numbers every month to see if this pipeline is increasing and if we have enough opportunities or not. We have a very good pipeline and more than 130 leads, the majority of which are customers who want to know more about our products. Additionally, we have closed a few deals so far, but we are happy because we see big potential in the US market as long as we have this big sales pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

I don’t have any suggestions. We haven’t dealt with other companies in the past but compared to what we saw in the Canadian market, it’s very clear that Martal Group has the right personnel with the right skills.

**What problems is Martal Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Martal Group's efforts have led to a strong sales pipeline with more than 100 leads who are interested in the business' products, as well as the closing of a few deals. Additionally, the team is made up of a group of talented individuals.
