Furthermore, their collaborative approach, constantly sharing ideas, proactively suggesting improvements, and refining their responses to overcome prospect objections, made them feel like a true extension of our internal team.

The primary challenge was achieving the depth of market penetration we required for our most specialized niche segments. While the team was responsive and engaged, the breadth of their reach into these specific, highly targeted security verticals did not consistently generate the level of pipeline we needed to justify the long-term investment.

If there was one area we didn’t love, it was the initial ramp-up period. As with any outsourced outbound team, it took a bit of time to fully dial in messaging, targeting, and cadence so it matched our voice and market nuances.

That said, Martal was very receptive to feedback and adjusted quickly once we identified what needed refinement. After that initial tuning phase, execution became much smoother and results were more consistent.

No dislike but area of improvement would be a conversation we had. We would've liked to be able to export certain contacts with individual status' such as 'attempted to contact' or 'interested' so we could re target on our ads platform. Unfortunately for now this isn't possible but maybe something to look into for future.

Fairly minor nitpick but I wish they had a live dashboard to share results rather than the weekly updates they provided. However they did create a whatsapp group to share updates and they mentioned that they're working on the live dashboard

If you are looking for a full service lead generation partner that has years of expertise in the industry and a team of driven sales professionals Martal is a great bet. Overall the price seems fair given what they offer and they stand out in an industry that is filled with people who talk a big game but ultimnately don't end up delivering

Martal helped us ramp up our outbound efforts from scratch and was instrumental in both setting us up for success with their expertise in driving results in the industry as well as the hands-on work they did to understand our ICP and adapt their plan accordingly. The leads that Martal provided not only were relevant and within our ICP, we ended up closing 3 deals through pipeline that Martal created representing ~$100K in ARR

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

The team is amazing! We were assigned two BDRs and one account manager. This means that once they are trained into your product, they become really proficient about your ideal customer profile and become very effective in their outreach. Both Jesse and Angela are professional, fun to work with and they have become members of our team in a sense.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

They are on the pricey side and before you have seen them work and the results they can bring, it can be a turn-off. But once you see how hard they work and the results they bring, you understand you pay for what you get.

**Recommendations to others considering Martal Group:**

Communicate, communicate, communicate! We are talking to our assigned BDR and account manager once a week, plus almost daily chat discussions on the WhatsApp channel we created. This is no more than what you would do with members of your own team so don't treat them differently. Share information about the progress you are making on your side, tell them about the relevant shows you are attending. Just like any good sales person on your team, they will use every piece of information to engage prospects and get you those meetings.

Our company wanted to venture into new market segments where our current sales was less comfortable prospecting in. Martal came in with their powerful outreach setup and got to work promoting a specific product to new customer bases. They took care of everything: list building, email copy writing and sending, cold calls, follow ups and booking meetings on behalf of our sales representatives. they covered a lot more ground in 6 months than we would have been able to in such a short period of time.

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

As a client, I have complete and open transparency and communication with my entire team.  I also chose Martal over competitors as Martal utilizes and email, LinkedIn and live human calling model.  Many competitors only utilize email or ask that you pay extra for sales calls.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

The inital investemnt in outsourced sales/lead generation is significant.   Although I feel that Martal's compensation model is far more fair and client-focused than much of its competition.   If you are not prepared to make up-front investments, Martal and other outsourced sales services are not for you.

**Recommendations to others considering Martal Group:**

Talk with Martal and their competitors and make the decision that is best for you.  I recommend that you be weary of firms that charge an up-front fee plus an "appointment setting fee" of $200-$350.  My industry has a low close rate and I feel that paying a fee for every sales call that they set for us is simply unrealistic.

Tiffany and her team have been entirely professional every step of the way during our partnership.  They have listened to my needs as a business owner and done their best to accomodate them.   Joe and Cesar and been diligent and professional with their prospecting and sales efforts.  I highly recommend their services.

Martal promises alot on the front end but really didn't deliver. They use very basic system for outreach and use generic AI scripted emails that didn't produce. They didn't take feedback along the way And didn't really customize or take time to learn our niche. Operations team was very green and didn't really push process along and really couldn't offer anything. Sales rep was okay but operations team was leaning on them alot to do their job.

Martal's overall approach is well thought through, from identifying potential leads to introducing them via email & our weekly catch-up calls. 

Martal has been helping us set up meetings with Fortune 500 executives. The market is very tough, and Martal uses thoughtful and consistent messaging to get as many meetings as possible. 

Tiffany and Cesar have been great to work with and have created many interesting, hard-to-attract leads.

Martal took some time to get up to speed in identifying our perfect target market. This did take a fair amount of up front work between myself and the Martal team.

Once in a while, they introduce me to clients and prospects that aren't perfect. However, this has become less common as the months have gone on and they've improved.

Honestly, I had worked with other lead generation firms before that had promised the world but came back empty-handed. I am happy to say that with Martal Group, things have been much different. All the reps have experience in tech sales and know the buyer personas inside and out, which has been a game changer. We had meetings booked on our calendars in less than a month of campaigning. If these results continue, I fully expect to carry on a long-term partnership with Martal.

Our funnel is flowing at full speed, thanks to Martal. We had some success on our own, but our sales cycle lasted six to nine months. Prospecting for clients was our team's biggest hurdle. Since Martal started scheduling appointments for our BDRs, we’ve closed more deals. We’re adding an additional sales executive so we can scale faster.

Martal wasn’t what I expected. Usually, with these lead gen agencies, you get a lot of unqualified leads that just don’t make sense. It’s a frustrating waste of time. That being said, Martal delivered on its promises. We are blown away by the team’s professionalism and industry knowledge. We’ve learned a lot about our target market and how to position our brand. The opportunities they have generated are perfect fits. We couldn’t be happier!

Nothing, contracting with Martal was the biggest waste of money in our company's history. We received no value.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

Lots of things. The tales that they "spin up" email domains sounded contrived, its the only "technical" thing they can talk about but wasn't worth anything as far as we could tell. There were some startup excuses that some of the email domains didn't work right, sounded like obfuscation.

The idea that they will provide good feedback or that the campagin can be adjusted and refined didn't seem true. The feedback was weak and ineffective. 

The idea that you need 3 months to determine effectiveness is inaccurate and must be part of their business model. We knew in about two weeks that the project would be ineffective and a waste of our time and money.

For the 3 month period and all that spend, there wasn't one good lead. And our other lead gen generated healthy activity at the same time. At one point they came back and asked if we could just "talk about AI" or some other nonsense that had nothing to do with our product.

**Recommendations to others considering Martal Group:**

Just don't use them. You're probably better off, trying an individual through upwork or something. Don't let them talk you into a 3 month trial, you can figure out if they will be effective in a few weeks. Demand more detailed and rich feedback written into the contract if you do decide to use them. All they sent us every week was some graphic with limited data, couple of spreadsheet rows.  which made it difficult to tell if they were doing anything.

We hired the Martal Group for a 3-month trial of outsourced SDR / BDR. They force you to do a 3 month trial with a spin that they can't determine anything within just a month. But we felt like they quit on us quite quickly. Everything was an excuse, outbound mail problems, poor messaging. We have no idea if they actually did anything. They were to set up meetings with IT prospects and they didn't set up ONE meeting. Incredible really. In the same time, we had sold inbound activity.

One of our biggest challenges before working with Martal Group was finding tech businesses that needed our content services for the long term. Our agency also struggled a lot with capturing the attention of content directors at big IT companies and engaging them with the right message.

Martal helped us better understand who our target customers are and how we should communicate with them. The SDR team we worked with developed a lead generation plan that allowed us to reach hundreds of IT companies and promote our content services to them.

Martal team was engaged in a 24 months contract, they were sourcing deals in US, crafting SOWs and submitting RFPs. They had two fractional sales reps and one technical presale agent servicing our account. 

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

Ability to handle both direct sales and channel partnerships, a multi-channel approach for lead generation based on three main elements: a) outbound campaigns, b) account based marketing, c) publications that will build back-links & increased website foot-traffic.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

Low conversion rates, while lot's of opportunities were created the conversion rate was fairly low.

Discuss in depth preferred customer profile, sales process steps and required supporting materials and demos to be produced by the vendor to optimize lead generation process.

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

The team was flexible and responsive to our suggestions. Every person we talked to was courteous and friendly. When our time with them ended, we at least had a list of contacted leads to base our further considerations on, and nobody seemed to have hard feelings.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

We had high hopes for our collaboration with Martal Group, but ended our agreement after five months of work with zero qualified leads. Martal’s sales team was accommodating but didn’t give us enough new ideas, instead simply just going along with whatever we suggested with no pushback. We would have preferred a team willing to challenge us and suggest alternatives.

Although Martal emphasizes its B2B expertise, we had to correct our representatives’ email copy multiple times to make sure it was accurate. Worse, we also had to remind our main contact to complete certain tasks, which ended up delaying one important campaign by nearly two weeks. We know proper engagement takes time, but the results were far below what Martal promised in their onboarding deck.

One more thing: their model for booking calls for potential clients rests on Calendly. If you don’t use Calendly or have never worked with it, you are on your own to figure it out. Granted, there is a free version that is plenty functional, but none of this was mentioned in our onboarding process at all and it took some trial and error, leading to awkward communication gaps between us and potential prospects. We wish Martal could have set this up earlier, or simply suggested a better alternative for us. It felt like we were expected to know this going in.

**Recommendations to others considering Martal Group:**

It’s possible a business in a different industry might see more benefits from Martal, but we cannot recommend working with them based on our experience. If you do choose them, don’t extend your contract for longer than the initial three months without seeing the 5-10 qualified leads they claim you’ll see within 90 days (and make sure they’re qualified by your standards, not Martal’s). Beware of claims that “this next week/month/quarter will see more responses” without evidence. Don’t just spend your weekly meetings reading data they forward you a half hour before: ask for concrete ideas and improvements. Even then, you will likely need to email them multiple times to see your desired results.

We asked Martal Group to help us increase our number of qualified leads by removing the burden from our small inhouse sales team. Our plan included a team of two representatives and one manager who would find and nurture potential clients through LinkedIn messages and email based on our specifications. Ideally, we wanted to be able to send specific messages to targeted prospects based on our offerings.

**What do you like best about Martal Group?**

We've really liked working closely with our Martal team. Our weekly meetings have been great to go over what's working, what's not, and discuss all the leads in the pipeline. They've also been very responsive and quick to make adjustments to the ICP/segments we want to focus on.

**What do you dislike about Martal Group?**

We don't have any specific dislikes at this time. The only thing to consider is that this is a blanket approach and there will be a lot of people contacted that may not be relevant, but it's a numbers game and they are delivering real and relevant results.

**Recommendations to others considering Martal Group:**

I would just say make sure you have your ICP fully dialed in and take an active role in communication with the Martal team. The more you can get them up to speed on your business, ICP, value prop, etc. the more effective this will be for you.

**What problems is Martal Group solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've engaged with Martal to help drive more warm leads for our business. In a very short time, they've been able to deliver meaningful results and we've already closed multiple deals.
