Who is Lineview pricing best suited for?

Lineview's pricing is best suited for mid-market manufacturers and enterprise operations teams in Food & Beverages, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, and Wine and Spirits. G2 reviewers from both the 51-1000 employee and 1000-plus employee segments report strong value, with mid-market users praising OEE monitoring, loss categorization, and performance meeting support, while enterprise reviewers highlight multi-line visibility and ERP integration. Given the custom quote model and reviewer feedback about high licensing costs, Lineview's pricing structure favors organizations with dedicated continuous improvement programs, capital to invest in MES infrastructure, and operational scale where even marginal OEE gains translate into significant financial returns. Smaller teams with limited budgets may find the cost prohibitive.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Lineview?

No free version or publicly listed pricing tiers appear in G2's pricing data for Lineview. Lineview's pricing is structured around custom enterprise quotes, meaning access, feature scope, and licensing terms are negotiated per deployment rather than offered through self-serve tiers. G2 reviewers note that partial licensing, such as not having a full license on every machine center for legacy lines, creates visibility gaps, implying that broader coverage requires additional spend. According to G2 data on Lineview, prospective buyers should expect to engage Lineview's sales team directly to scope requirements, as there is no entry-level or freemium path to evaluate the full production monitoring and OEE tracking capabilities independently.

Is Lineview considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers give Lineview an average rating well above 4.0, signaling strong satisfaction despite explicit cost concerns. One mid-market Food & Beverages reviewer flags that Lineview's pricing is high compared to other options, covering both licensing and on-site support, and an enterprise manufacturing reviewer notes that the cost of even minor changes is a limiting factor. Yet high ratings persist across both segments, indicating Lineview delivers on its core promise. G2 reviews of Lineview consistently cite OEE tracking, True Causal Loss identification, real-time line visibility, and a guaranteed minimum 10% OEE improvement within six months as justifications for the premium. Best framed as a high-cost, high-return investment for operations-focused teams.

What do you like best about Lineview?

It’s easy to view top-level data and information at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lineview?

Keep it simple. Unfortunately, I feel Lineview is moving away from what they do best and is overcomplicating something that already works well. There’s just too much going on in one place now, and I’m not sure how much of it actually adds value for the customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
