"The Continuous Performance Catalyst: Moving Beyond The Dreaded Annual Review"
What do you like best about Lattice?

What I like best is how Lattice unifies the entire "People Success" journey in one intuitive platform. It seamlessly links all key touchpoints: Objectives and key results (OKRs), continuous 1 on 1 meeting agendas, real-time feedback and praise, and structure performance review cycles (360s). This connection creates a rich, year-round context for every employee, making annual reviews less painful and far more objective, as all necessary data is pre - populated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lattice?

While the data is Centralised, users report that the Dashboards and Reporting tools can sometimes feel limited or cumbersome. Generating highly customized, complex people analytics, especially across different modules, often requires downloading raw data or using external Business Intelligence (BI) tools, rather than being handled natively within the platforms reporting suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Module Integration Drives Easy Adoption"
What do you like best about Lattice?

The way that the various modules within Lattice integrate with one another is a great feature, and the way that each module follows a similar structure that makes it easy to use them all without having to remember a new set of processes. This has been a great asset in user adoption within the organization as we integrate Lattice into the company culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lattice?

The product is still developing, and it currently lacks some features that are available in more established applications. For instance, the inability to incorporate overall Goal ratings into the final performance review poses a significant issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Setup, Exceptional Support"
What do you like best about Lattice?

I greatly appreciate how Lattice has empowered us to implement the programs that support not just the organization but also the people managers and my team. We have been able to establish a continuous feedback culture which has enhanced the quality of people management, especially with the increased frequency of one-on-ones. The implementation of career frameworks and the alignment of titles within Lattice has given our employees clear growth paths. This system has also tremendously assisted us in salary benchmarking for different locations, thanks to its integration with Mercer, which replaced our previous system, Radford, at a more cost-effective rate. I particularly like how the performance, feedback, and goals modules offer great support. They are essential for alignment and providing visibility within the team, even though there's more work to be done in utilizing these modules to their fullest potential. The compensation and engagement modules, especially with their AI features, provide insightful summaries and are extremely beneficial. Lattice's integration capabilities, especially with our HR systems, save us considerable time by eliminating the need for duplicate entry of employee data. On top of all this, Lattice's customer support is exceptional. They are always ready with solutions, engaging subject matter experts and consultants to help structure processes like performance cycles or talent reviews, making the service as impressive as the product itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lattice?

Sometimes the features are not really thought through from beginning to end. For example, the action plans in the engagement module don't allow admins to create actions on behalf of people managers, which is something we need. Also, some promised features, like one-on-one meetings for multiple people or team meetings, were removed because they were complicated to build. I believe that once a feature is promised, it should be completed, especially if customers need it. Integration with our HRIS Personio was not seamless and took quite some time until the systems started to communicate effectively, though Lattice's team helped find solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid system, consistently improving"
What do you like best about Lattice?

I really appreciate their clear focus on updating The platform. Particularly the AI features. I'm very excited to try out the AI writing assist bias check feature. I like that notes within the system are able to be viewed on the same screen when you're writing reviews. I am the administrator and I'm pretty satisfied with the administrative options and ease of use. I like the data visualization options for reviews and engagement surveys. This area has been significantly improved over the past year.

I appreciate being able to chat with customer service in real time within the platform. They recently added the AI chatbot, and my questions are usually to specific so require a representative response, But the chat bot is pretty quick to connect me to an actual person upon my request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lattice?

I often find I've adopted the mantra that lattice is user friendly, just not necessarily intuitive..

When writing reviews it's strange that you click an item to write a downward review but it takes you to the self-review screen and then you have to click in the left menu to get to the downward review screen.

I have received a lot of feedback regarding the goal setting features being less than ideal. I wish that the platform integrated with asana so we could pull goals from a sauna on automatically into lattice. Either that or lattice build out the features similar to those offered by asana so that project Management tasks could be performed within the goals section. We are still waiting for the option to have group meetings versus just one-on-one. I hear that's coming soon..

When writing reviews one is not able to view the self-assessment and reviewer assessment side by side within the system. Our previous provider had that feature and many staff reached out to request it. I understand the responses can be grouped by question when the review is downloaded, but that is not very user friendly as makes more sense to be able to view it that way within the system

There is a suggestion box option but not an option to make some missions anonymous. Though there is a q&a feature where submissions can be anonymous. I would prefer the suggestion box have an anonymous option.

Almost forgot because it's something I don't use, but the mobile app is very limited in functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich and Safe, But Takes Time to Master"
What do you like best about Lattice?

The software is built as best for business with psychological safety built in and so many features! The API ensures that our HRIS sync's our taems data and we can effectively scale our performance through Lattice with trustworthy data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lattice?

Because of the system's complexity and the range of features it offers, I sometimes find it challenging to create performance reviews, surveys, or growth areas. It can be hard to fully grasp what each option does and to weigh the pros and cons when making selections. The platform isn't entirely intuitive, but if you invest the time to really learn how to use its tools, the results you achieve are much better than with competing products. "Fosters Continuous Feedback and Open Communication"
What do you like best about Lattice?

Lattice streamlines our performance management workflows and makes one-on-one discussions far more productive. The platform’s interface is clean, responsive, and easy to navigate, with clearly structured modules for goals, feedback, and reviews. I really like how seamlessly it allows goal-setting, progress tracking, and updates throughout the review cycle. The system ensures transparency and alignment between individual and team objectives, while also keeping all performance data organized in one place. Overall, it’s a very user-friendly yet robust tool that supports both day-to-day check-ins and long-term performance planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lattice?

There aren’t many downsides, but at times the platform can feel a bit slow when switching between modules or loading analytics dashboards. Some of the goal-tracking views could be more customizable - for example, being able to filter or visualize progress in different ways would be useful. Also, notifications can pile up quickly if multiple updates happen at once, and it would help to have better control over which alerts to receive. Overall, these are minor usability improvements compared to how well the system performs overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lattice easy"
What do you like best about Lattice?

🌱 1. Performance Reviews That Don’t Suck

Why It’s Loved:

The interface is clean, easy to use, and customizable by HR.

Supports 360 reviews, self-assessments, peer feedback, and manager evaluations.

✅ Benefit:

Encourages growth-focused feedback instead of just evaluation.

Saves HR and managers hours per cycle.

Employees feel seen, heard, and developed, not just judged.

🗺️ 2. Goal & OKR Tracking

Why It’s Loved:

Teams can set goals at the individual, team, and company level.

Real-time progress updates are visible across the org.

Goals can be tied to reviews or feedback for alignment.

✅ Benefit:

Increases transparency and alignment across teams.

Helps employees connect their work to big-picture objectives.

Fosters accountability and focus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lattice?

🧩 1. Can Feel Overly Complex at First

Issue:

The platform is packed with features: performance reviews, 1:1s, OKRs, engagement surveys, feedback, analytics, etc.

New users often find it intimidating to navigate or adopt all at once.

⚠️ Impact:

Teams may underutilize key features without proper training.

Onboarding takes time for both HR and individual employees.

🔄 2. Too Much Manual Input

Issue:

Users often need to manually update goals, fill in review inputs, and log talking points.

There’s limited automation or integrations for pulling performance data from tools like Jira, Salesforce, etc.

⚠️ Impact:

Goal tracking and review inputs can become a chore if not maintained regularly.

Risk of reviews becoming a check-the-box exercise.

📅 3. Notifications and Nudges Can Be Annoying

Issue:

Lattice sends frequent reminders to complete reviews, update goals, or prep for 1:1s.

While helpful, some users feel overwhelmed or nagged—especially during review cycles.

⚠️ Impact:

Can lead to notification fatigue and employees tuning out important prompts.

📉 4. Limited Customization for Some Features

Issue:

Some users feel constrained by rigid review templates, goal structures, or survey question banks.

Fine-grained permissions or workflow customizations may be lacking depending on the org's size and needs.

⚠️ Impact:

Larger or more specialized orgs may need workarounds or admin-heavy solutions.

🧾 5. Historical Data Isn't Always Easy to Surface

Issue:

While you can view past reviews and feedback, some users report it’s not intuitive to find or analyze trends over time.

Feedback history across teams or managers can get fragmented.

⚠️ Impact:

Harder for managers or HR to make informed promotion or coaching decisions quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In our workflow, we conduct project reviews every quarter and career reviews every six months. Since adopting Lattice, we've noticed the addition of several new features, such as performance improvement plans, succession planning, and engagement tools, all of which we are now utilizing.
