**What do you like best about Joyous?**

I use Joyous because it genuinely makes my day easier and a little more enjoyable. I really enjoy how simple, positive, and intentional it is to use. It doesn't feel overwhelming or like it's trying to sell anything; it just feels natural. It helps me improve my mood and feels personal. I love how well it's designed for users and real people's minds, not just numbers and algorithms. It's a nice reset when I'm stressed or tired, as it feels refreshing instead of draining my energy.

**What do you dislike about Joyous?**

It could be a bit repetitive at times. Certain features and content need some improvement.

Joyous makes my day easier and more enjoyable, helps solve my confusion or frustration by finding what I need, improves my mood, feels personal, and provides a refreshing reset when I'm stressed or tired.

I like that Joyous is very easy to set up, which is important for getting started quickly. I appreciate the short surveys and regular check-ins because they're quick and easy, encouraging more of my team members to participate. This helps us gather valuable feedback and better understand team engagement. Joyous helps address challenges with communication, making it easy for teams to share their thoughts.

**What do you like best about Joyous?**

Firstly this is a serious enterprise grade product, but you can buy it off the shelf without a long contract or sales process! That's wild. We use it for a combination of operational, transformation and employee engagement feedback. Including ad-hoc and continuous feedback. Secondly, the UX and ease of use for people responding to feedback, the conversational nature of the quick chat with AI and how they use AI to help with the config and the results makes the whole exercise far more efficient and scaleable than other alternatives. I love how simple and easy it is to understand and validate the insights as well. Sometimes you just want something to work and make sense. Also the built in action planning and automated notifications is very good and sophisticated, so it works with complex hierarches and you don't need to be the person in the middle asking people to log in and check things. We came out of years of working with one of the older and more established platforms in this area and it's incredible how much we used to put up with having to do manually and waiting forever to get actually clear on what we needed to do about feedback. Lastly, their customer support team is next level, they don't charge you for it and everything we've had a question or needed a favour they helped us in a matter of hours. I've never experienced that before. The lift this has taken off us, and the way it's made our large team of 10k plus people feel more connected to our core challenges has been well worth it.

**What do you dislike about Joyous?**

They didn't used to support fully anonymous and they were missing heatmaps and easily downloadable presentations, but that has since been added and done extremely well. So now there is very little that anyone could dislike about this product. It's so much better than a traditional conditional style survey, although they can do that too. So honestly there isn't anything. It's well worth switching to Joyous over any of the typical enterprise survey tools if you can.

**What problems is Joyous solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we were not getting useful feedback from our teams, the traditional surveys for engagement was basically just serving up complaints. The way that Joyous structures their questions and surveys is pretty good at getting you not only good engagement but highly specific and usable feedback. So in that sense it's helped us improve the narrative to one that is more constructive. We saw a lift in our engagement scores within 6 months of switching to Joyous purely because it made it much simpler for leaders to know what to act on. That was what made it possible and comfortable for us to shift to operational and transformation feedback using Joyous as well. In that sense it's helped us identify ways to reduce costs and accelerate our big system upgrade and other transformation projects by quickly hearing what wasn't working and having the confidence to act on it. It is also saving us manual time as I mentioned before, so that usually unnacounted for lift for our team has been massive, and honestly a relief as we are absolutely swamped across many of our leaders and support functions.

**What do you like best about Joyous?**

It is so insightful gaining perspectives of our kaimahi in bite size pieces.  It allows for real time responsiveness and keeps our kaimahi front and centre.  I also like how it themes the responses and gives scores by business area.

**What do you dislike about Joyous?**

Having to filter and copy for department reports, as opposed to just pushing a button for report and getting it all.

**What problems is Joyous solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prompting key kōrero between managers and kaimahi which can get lost in busyness.  Giving us a real picture of how our kaimahi perspective.

**What do you like best about Joyous?**

I really enjoy the ability to flexibly create and dynamically adjust project plans in Joyous. Especially when project plans need to be adjusted, such as due to changes in customer requirements, once modified in Joyous, all relevant personnel can immediately see these changes. This real-time synchronization feature ensures consistency in information acquisition among team members, avoiding work confusion caused by delayed or inconsistent information, allowing the entire team to quickly respond to the adjusted plan and continue to efficiently advance the project. Additionally, the initial setup process for Joyous is relatively easy.

**What do you dislike about Joyous?**

For large and complex projects, Joyous lacks some advanced project management features, such as more detailed cost budgeting and control modules. When managing projects that involve significant financial investment, it is difficult to plan the costs of various tasks in detail directly within Joyous, and to monitor cost expenditures and budget deviations in real-time. This necessitates the use of other specialized cost management software, which increases the complexity of the work.

I use Joyous to flexibly create project plans. Its real-time synchronization feature ensures consistent team information, avoiding confusion and improving project advancement efficiency, but it requires using QuickBooks to supplement cost management.

**What do you like best about Joyous?**

I appreciate Joyous's AI-driven efficient feedback and action transformation capabilities, which are extremely practical. Its AI assistant can help draft clear research questions, intelligently follow up on feedback, avoid sensitive topics, and subsequently automatically organize feedback themes, extract key information, and generate detailed action plans, saving a lot of time on manually filtering and analyzing feedback. This makes the entire process from collecting employee feedback to implementing solutions efficient and smooth for companies. Additionally, I highly value Joyous's warm and flexible employee care features. It offers a variety of holiday and anniversary card templates and can automatically replace employee names using placeholders to achieve personalized cards. It also supports sending via multiple platforms like SMS and WeChat, and allows scheduling of send times in advance, which not only reduces the workload of HR but also makes employees truly feel the company's attention and care, effectively enhancing employee satisfaction. The installation and setup are also quite simple.

**What do you dislike about Joyous?**

Data analysis lacks depth: Although it can provide basic data statistics and report export functions, it lacks advanced data analysis capabilities. For companies that need to formulate human resource strategies through deep data mining, the existing data analysis functions are difficult to support their decision-making needs. Improve after-sales and feedback loop: Currently, there is a lack of convenient problem consultation channels. A dedicated online customer service channel and user communication community can be established, allowing users to consult operational issues in real-time and share usage tips. Additionally, establish a user feedback response mechanism to regularly announce the processing progress and iteration plans for user-suggested features, enhancing user engagement.

Joyous solves the problem of employee feedback gaps and the difficulty of quantifying engagement. Through real-time anonymous feedback and standardized surveys, it helps companies improve communication efficiency and cultural development.

**What do you like best about Joyous?**

It often feels like whiteboarding, but without the white board. It's less formal than email, making people more casual. There's less time spent on articulating a thought-out critique and more of a casual, "I think it could use more..." or "I don't like..."

**What do you dislike about Joyous?**

More in-depth metrics/analytics. For instance, the insights section will show how people feel about the culture/environment and, although helpful, the people who appear to be the most dissatisfied, don't "speak up." If there was a way to engage them or prompt them to speak more or even see a pattern to deduce what's wrong, that would be helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Joyous:**

Definitely good to get a feel for what your employees or contractors are doing/feeling. It gives you a way to read the room which is especially helpful in startups where it may not be clear why employees are leaving, etc.

**What problems is Joyous solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's especially helpful with contractors oddly enough. Their roles by nature have a quick turnaround and it can lead to some people feeling unmotivated--they feel replaceable. Obviously, in a startup, that's just the nature of the beast, so having a platform where they can speak freely and not feel crammed in a corner is helpful and gives more insight into their criticisms as well as personalities.

**What do you like best about Joyous?**

The regular questions.
The question type/s and content.
The transparency.
We get direct insights on the mood of the business with a very short turnaround, which also accumulates over time giving broader insights.
Simple user interface, very easy to use.
The style and vibe.
Response times to any issues or questions we raise.

**What do you dislike about Joyous?**

Not really dislike, but as the product develops would be good to have some drill-down options on the insights page.
Would be good to know who hasn't responded to a question, this can be an important signal of disengagement, particularly in a high-scoring business like ours, a person who does not share the common sentiment may be more inclined to opt-out rather than respond negatively.

Get in there! Honest, regular, transparent feedback and insights via a great tool.

**What problems is Joyous solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As my business has grown I am using Joyous to solve the problem of staying connected to my people and being close to the developing culture of my business.
I have identified areas for improvement in our approach to onboarding new people. I have gained insights on how my people cope with large volumes of work which has helped us develop better management and wellness strategies.

I like how user friendly and animated it is.I can see problems and take action immediately - I can actually just respond then and there. Or, I can take a deep breath and look at the insights, and think about future people strategy.

t's the most expensive we trialled. But you get what you pay for. Also, we really needed to commit to use it. Without management buy in these tools are of less value
