I've used both the basic and max features, and even with the basic features you have so many capabilities at your fingertips to create extremely engaging material. With the upgraded features though, your true creative self can shine with how many options are available between slide templates (very helpful for visually appealing material), characters, backgrounds, the options are limitless. Outside of the design features, the ability to input roleplaying scenarios is very beneficial for my new hires. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** Some items can be difficult to manipulate so you have to be very versed in PowerPoint/PowerPoint macros if you want to be able to edit a slide template. I liked that I could break up the scrollable course with pages and a 'continue' button. It made it easy to structure the content into chapters. It was easy to upload video, audio and images. I am an Apple user so I used iSpring Cloud, which was very easy to get started with. It was easy to use, with hardly any learning curve if you have used similar basic authoring tools. Ideal for beginners and those not skilled in instructional design. The number of features was basic, but not different to similar authoring tools of this type. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** I was unable to add a VTT file for closed captions, so that they were optional. I didn't see that this was possible so had to burn subtitles into my video. I had designed a drag and drop activity which I rethought and used one of the knowledge check activities, it worked fine. Although I would like more variety with the knowledge checks. Multiple choice and a card match were used a bit too much in my course. At times it was frustrating not being able to have images exactly where I wanted them and size them to my liking. I understand it is a block template and it is not unlike other authoring tools of it's kind, so I was used to that. **What problems is iSpring Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used iSpring Cloud for the iSpring Course Creation Contest and am a first time user. I would recommend it and the other products for their ease of use. As an Instructional Designer I like to use the industry standard tools and although iSpring is very good I feel pressure to have Articulate 360 on the CV as it is what employers want right now. For those familiar with Articulate, it's more of a Rise than a Storyline. I can add slides, quizes, videos, etc and have it imbedded in my presentation. There are a lot of characters that you can chose from to add a professional touch or a whimsical touch. The premade slide formats are helpful and really do make it easy to follow a desired pathway to a presentation or creation of a course that will be added to iSpring Learn. I like also that they are continue to update. There are new slides and features that reflect a wide varieity of businesses. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** It took me many calls to the IT help desk to figure out how I can move material from my original personal computer to my work computer. The presentations would move over just fine, but the voice overs would not. The IT help desk showed me what I needed to do and we were able to resolve the issue. But it took me months before I was able to get it up and running because of that delay. I think there are many videos or guides that would be needed for some of us to figure it out on our own. **What problems is iSpring Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** iSpring is bringing cohesion to our onboarding and training documents. For example, I create asynchronous trainings for adults. I want to both engage them in the learning process AND make sure that they have picked up the key learning points by the end of the training. For enagement, I often use iSpring's fun, ungraded quiz and survey features as well as the customizable storyboards for learners to practice various "what would you do" scenarios. To test their knowledge, I use iSpring's graded quiz feature to generaate various questions and let learners know if they have passed the training by the end. The quiz results can also be emailed directly to me, so I am alerted when anyone passes or fails. This has been a game-changer for our trainings, which were previously just voiced-over slideshows with no interactions. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** Customer service is responsive in terms of quick replies to email, but I've found that the representatives tend to prefer email, even when you request a videoconference for tech support. Whenever I have contacted my account manager or customer service, they have been very responsive and solved any issues I've had. **What do you dislike about iSpring Suite?** Not that I dislike it, however, I have found using the search function for example, looking for a certain facial expression, is not always helpful. I find scrolling through the images I get a better selection, because what I end up choosing hasn't necessarily been tagged with the word used for searching. I also find this in the icons and objects. **What problems is iSpring Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** My biggest error, was human error where I accidentally deleted the folders that contained all my interactions, quizzes etc. I managed to recover the deleted folders, however, had trouble relinking these up to the original presentation. Tatiana and I ended up zooming where I could share my screen. It's so better and helpful when you can both see what is being talked about, anyway, Tatiana talked me through the relinking process and everything was saved.
