Idea Glow was initially something we planned to use at a much smaller scale within our company. Our main goal was to create a collaborative environment with some of our more entry-level employees where we could get buy-in and gain their votes on what they liked. It also allowed them to submit ideas on their own. We scaled with more of our project management teams company-wide when we realized how easy it was to use, the fact that it was cloud-based, it allowed for rewarding contributors (fostering a fun and exciting idea environment. Ironically, one thing I loved at first ended up being its demise at our company. We loved that it was cloud-based but when our start-up was purchased by a Fortune 100, they required on-premise only software and idea-glow does not offer that so it didn't survive our transition.
