What do you like best about Hyland OnBase?

I have a background as being a traditional software devleoper for 2 years in addition to working for a no code development platform startup.

When I first started working with onbase, I was blown away by how simplified the UI design is. I know what I need to do immediately. There are so many customizable options of how to make the product your own. The interface is so clean and simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyland OnBase?

Upgrading seems to have bugs that are not worked out. These bugs tend to be a lot of one off issues that we are not able to reproduce in different dev and test environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hyland OnBase?

Incredible suite of tools for managing complex processes, ensuring stability and audit trails, rapid app development, and pretty much any crazy requests our users and business owners propose for us. Easily my favorite system to work in and support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hyland OnBase?

Upgrades are difficult. Sometimes we cannot justify ROI for some of the modules. Hyland is always innovating and coming out with new modules, however, if OnBase is not your first line of business application, it can be hard to justify spending $20,000 plus $25% for yearly maintenance to use SOME of the features of a new module. What do you like best about Hyland OnBase?

OnBase is an overall GREAT software application! The capabilities available in Workflow and Workview are incredible for automating manual processes !!

What do you like best about Hyland OnBase?

I like how flexible Workview is and how it literally can handle the class and view load that our bank uses it for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We dislike the inability to create a software enhancement request. We "understand" the whole voting thing but sometimes we have literal business critical problems with the software that are communicated through Deluxe to Hyland and into a forever black hole. What do you like best about Hyland OnBase?

When we switched to OnBase, we were able to downsize our paper storage down to almost nothing. We previously had all of the walls in our front office lined with filing cabinets. We were able to get rid of all of those. We also save so much time processing things through the OnBase system - people throughout the building are able to quickly and easily pull up documents that they need. What do you like best about Hyland OnBase?

OnBase gives the ability to create multiple business processes for different departments. The security features and roles allow for increased security. The ability to create custom queries and reporting is beneficial to the end users. My favorite feature is the ability to make it customizable to our business needs. What do you dislike about Hyland OnBase?

It is a learning curve for new users. They are intimitated by the features and buttons, and the face that filters hold confuses users.

Customer service has diminished in the past few years. Usually we get a rep that does not know how to help us, and many times we are explaining basic facts to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
