
The best thing about Hostaway is the support. They are easy to get a hold of, very knowledgeable, and always helpful. I had complicated PMS setting and automations that took a lot of work to migrate over from Guesty, and Gabriel spent a lot of time with me getting all the settings just right. Also, in between on-boarding sessions when I was stuck on something, their 24/7 call support was ready and willing to help. Even joining google meet sessions with screen share to resolve problems and walk me through features I was unfamiliar with. Overall I'm super glad to get away from Guesty and on to HostAway. Like any software, they are improving things. I like this way better than Guesty, but one of my main reasons for changing was the improved API integration with Airbnb which allows the selection of who the message sender is in Airbnb when sending messages from Hostaway. This is not perfect as you cannot set a default sender, which I didn't know. However, I raised this concern and got a very nice email from the development team letting me know they will actively work on this. They are even leaving my ticket open to let me know once it has been completed. This is such a far cry above the service level of Guesty, I can't even begin to tell you.
