"Streamlined Hiring with Vital Integrations, Needs Improved Support"
What do you like best about Hireology?

I use Hireology for our hiring process, and it's great for obtaining applicants and running background checks. I really appreciate the integration with Netchex as it makes managing our hiring and HR/Payroll processes much easier. We don't have to manually enter each applicant's information in the HR/Payroll platform, which saves us a lot of time. It's also very easy to set up, and we were ready to go ahead of schedule without any hassles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hireology?

A better way to connect with Customer Service would be great. We have had times when we needed to connect with someone very quickly and it was very hard to get in contact with someone. Provide a direct line for clients to contact Hireology, rather than having to try to contact through the Account Manager assigned. "Set It Up Once, Then Let Automation Handle Screening and Interview Scheduling"
What do you like best about Hireology?

Once you take the time to set it up, create screening questions, and automate some of the screening and appointment setting, you don’t have to check it every day. You can let the system handle most of the screening and contacting of applicants, and it will set interviews for you. You can always go back and see if anyone fell through the cracks, then contact them yourself if you’re not getting enough interviews booked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hireology?

Last time I checked you cannot create and anonymous add. Also if there was a way that when the same applicant applies to more than one position if there was a summary tied to that person so you can see the results of any interviews, tags or notes without having to switch between each job posting/ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a company, we have multiple steps in the candidate movement process that we choose not to utilize through Hireology, such as the testing option. Even though I deselect certain steps when posting a job, the monthly reports still indicate that candidates have skipped steps in the workflow. This can make it challenging to get an accurate representation of our hiring process. It would be beneficial if the system could better align the reporting with our custom workflow preferences. The platform also improves the candidate experience through timely, automated communication that keeps applicants informed and engaged throughout the hiring process. Sometimes employees decide to complete onboarding in person instead of online. I don't have the ability to "waive" the onboarding so my only option is to move them back to a candidate. Ease- it posts on multiple job boards at once, saving our company time.

I appreciate being able to communicate with candidates via text using a generic number.

What do you dislike about Hireology?

Our company has been a part of making Hireology work better as a whole. I do believe we should've had discounts or something for the advancements we helped with.

It's very expensive and at times we're asked to pay for things we don't want/need/use.

Sales pitches are annoying.

Changing the layouts- all of a sudden everything is harder to find.

It would be really nice to have a much simpler website to hand to people or say to people when they ask where our job posts are listed. This one is sooooo long and hard for people to remember and know how to spell.

I wish Hireology could integrate into our North Dakota Job Service job boards.

What do you like best about Hireology?

I've always appreciated the Hireology ATS and related portal functionality, but have grown to appreciate the company's efforts to enhance further support of the all-important steps that occur between Recruitment and Onboarding!!!! Those steps are what I refer to as the Qualification stage and there are a number of features available such as credentials collection and staging of information for the candidate. Hireology has made significant progress in this regard and thereby increased the value proposition for this user! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a minor inconvenience to have to "refresh" my job ad every 90 days or so based on changing search engine requirements, meaning this is not attributable to Hireology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hireology?

I feel that the mobile app is not an added benefit when it truly needs to be. Messages and candidate tracking has not consistently worked on my mobile app. We brought this up to our Hireology representative, and made adjustments to my access, but I am still having problems receiving candidate communications or candidate information.
