"Simple, yet solid and full featured"

What do you like best about HAProxy?

Simplicity and the programmability is the first things that comes to my mind when I think of haproxy. One question that haunts many development team later in their development cycle is the license of the software they are using and support and HAProxy is a easy choice to make when it comes to the above questions. What do you dislike about HAProxy?

Had issues when I started using, but those have been resolved and have not seen those older issues come up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HAProxy solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have used HAProxy to handle ingress traffic and internal traffic in DC/OS cluster and as a ingress controller Kubernetes clusters. SSL termination and pass through along with Path based routing are all the benefits I realized much later after I started using HAProxy - those features makes HAProxy more natural choice for production environment. What problems is HAProxy solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use HAProxy as an ingress point for all external traffic, utilizing load balancing and filtering features. It is out of the box tuned for high performance and allows to utilize less compute resources to achieve more results compared to competitors. Also, if we need to add a new feature to our load balancers fleet, very likely it's already supported by HAProxy and what is needed is to just configure it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
