# Best cloud-based budgeting and forecasting solutions

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi everyone! I’m looking into <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/budgeting-and-forecasting"><strong>cloud-based budgeting and forecasting software</strong></a> that can help streamline planning, improve collaboration, and provide real-time financial insights. We need something flexible enough for multiple stakeholders to contribute, scalable for growth, and strong in scenario modeling. Bonus points if it integrates with ERP or accounting systems and offers automation to reduce manual work.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Here are a few options I’m currently considering based on G2 reviews in the Budgeting and Forecasting category:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/workday-adaptive-planning/reviews"><strong>Workday Adaptive Planning</strong></a>: Known for its enterprise-grade planning and forecasting capabilities. For those who’ve used it, how effective is it in supporting real-time collaboration across finance and operations teams?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/vena/reviews"><strong>Vena</strong></a>: Combines the familiarity of Excel with automation and cloud collaboration. I’d love to hear if Vena has been effective for managing multi-departmental planning cycles.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/prophix-software/reviews"><strong>Prophix</strong></a>: Offers corporate performance management with strong budgeting and reporting tools. Curious if mid-sized teams find it flexible enough for scenario planning and forecasts.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/anaplan/reviews"><strong>Anaplan</strong></a>: A connected planning platform designed for enterprises. Has anyone here used Anaplan for integrating financial forecasts with sales and operational planning?</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/jedox/reviews"><strong>Jedox</strong></a>: Provides budgeting, planning, and forecasting with strong Excel integration. How well does it support real-time collaboration across global teams?</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">If your company has used any of these, or switched from one to another. I’d love to know what influenced your decision. Which features proved the most valuable for cloud-based planning, and would you choose the same solution again today?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Thanks in advance for your insights!</p>
