What do you like best?

Making payments is intuitive for my customers should they pay by card, and processing payments on my end could not be any simpler.

I am just starting out my company, but I feel the software can be scaled up and allows me to automate and grow my operation at whatever pace I can handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Currently the system doesn’t allow me to upload data from devices which I would need for accounts that require trend reports. A more comprehensive integration of field devices would be nice.

I also wish they had a form for sanitation reports for my commercial restaurant accounts. Though for a fee I can have my own form uploaded so that is a minor inconvenience.

I wish there was an an ability to generate more precise material use reports to extrapolate the quantity of concentrated materials from dilation rates instead of the total diluted application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The reduction of administrative time with client interactions. One person can reschedule hundreds of job on rain days, send email and text messages , invoice and follow-up in minutes.

A close second would be the technical support. Our experience with the Gorilla Desk support has been exceptional. New functionality sets are often added to Gorilla Desk which often provide great benefit to us. Sometimes we have questions about new things. Their support is top notch. Improved Technician Experience - Routing, on the way messaging, note taking and documentation

Department of Agriculture Record Keeping - The logs weather, materials usage and other required documentation elements

Invoicing and Client Ease of Payment - the system automatically sends invoices and reminders. Smooth and seamless online payment gateway

Marketing -Client communication, asking for online reviews is seamless, accessing client data based on previous services for target marketing campaigns, etc.

What do you like best?

I love how easy Gorilla Desk is to use. They layout is simple. The people at the help desk are always quick to answer any questions that I may have. When I purchased this program I did not have any training on how to use it but yet it was still so simple that I really did not need any. If i got stumped I would reach out to support and they have always been able to direct me in the right path. One of my favorite things about Gorilla Desk is the invoicing option. It keeps up with the past due balances and credits which saves me from a lot of extra work. The reports can be ran easily to see accounts outstanding. It is very detailed including the days that the accounts are overdue. I cant imagine using any other pest control routing software. Oh and at the end of the year, it makes getting records together for tax purposes a lot simpler who would not want that!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes when I batch move a whole day, it will move it to a day that I did not chose. When this happens it usually moves them to a different month which throws my reports off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love that this system is so incredibly easy to learn, even on the fly. As a small business (Hubby & wife team), we don't have time for a lengthy training/learning curve. With this program, we spent maybe an hour learning the important ins and outs and got to the business of running our business. They are the ONLY company I've ever known to have a "suggestions" section where clients can request changes/upgrades and let others not only see the requests but vote to have them made?!?

As a prior owner of a technology company that also wrote our own software and provided customer service, so my expectations where H I G H. GD has met and exceeded every single need I have had. The customer service is so far above par, I can't even begin to sing all their praises! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only downside I have is that a couple of functions take too many "clicks" on the mobile version. To take payment in the field is a bit "clicky", but functions exactly as it should. Also to look up a client on a mobile is a couple of extra clicks.

With as many functions as are available, a few annoying clicks are ABSOLUTELY worth it. The few dislikes I have, I view as pretty easy to workaround for an overall robust system with superb customer service and support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

For us, the ability to drag and drop clients (on the desktop) is awesome. Having come from an excel type program with a spreadsheet to keep track of clients to this... OHHHHH man do I save time with remembering when clients need service. For a gal with "directional dysfunction" the maps and routing software is a serious lifesaver. Using the integrated Stripe credit card processing is amazing, and the back office software with Stripe is honestly the easiest I've ever used (and I used to sell CC processing in the prior life, so I've seen most of them). Changes in the field are super quick and easy. The ability to scan and report on monitoring devices was critical for a couple of clients, and GD makes this seamless and easy. What do you like best?

The software itself does all that it claims to do and is very customizable. The best part is the support; if a feature is missing or a technical issue needs resolved, the team is all over it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It can sometimes be a little glitchy and the app is useless without an internet connection. Glitches have been addressed since I began using it but the one that persists is the color coding (or lack thereof) in the app -- when I change the status of the service it does not change in the calendar at-a-glance. There are tools to set up automatic emails, process payments automatically, send text messages and in return, these processes save personal time and improve accuracy with standard procedures. What do you like best?

I like the simplicity, the lack of a "activation fee", the lack of a long contract. The app is simple, adequate, and affordable. The customer service is very good! If you ask a question, or call in, someone gets back to you quickly every time. Might not be instant, but within a few short minutes. The training videos are extremely helpful! What do you dislike?

The app won't save favorite comments, or favorite used chemicals. You have to write your tech comments manually each and every time! Also, when adding chemicals, you have to specify "Gallons" not cubes, and what mix ratio percentage every single time it is used. The gorilla theme with avatars is somewhat childish, and lacking professionalism; although this has no real effect on the usability of the software. Still, I wouldn't call my techs "The Pest Monkeys". Nobody would hire us based on the name. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I wish the flow of journal entries on the customers statement was more clear.

Charge, payment, invoice number, etc. was more easily understandable. It’s kinda just grouped together and can make it a little harder to sort out when questions come up. In past programs it was easy to see what payment went to what charge on a print out. To their credit, I have just recently mentioned this to them and they have reported that they are looking into it. I believe they genuinely want to continually improve the product and don’t just dismiss your concerns as unimportant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you’re looking, I have felt your pain and anxiety in looking for the right solution. I can’t speak for larger companies but for a small operator this is a great solution. It’s well equipped to help you grow your business, simplify your document keeping, bill and get paid electronically as well as print out invoices on the fly for those customers that are not internet or email savvy.(I have those too)

And probably this company’s single most positive attribute is that you can instantly message the company with an issue they get back to you pronto- like instant messenger. That’s hard to find! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Mostly the mobile capability. We are able to work stops from the schedule, add in the field if a neighbor wants to start a service, pull up a customer from elsewhere in the schedule and work it on the fly. No paperwork to carry.

While it can be a little difficult to do all tasks on an iPhone, with a tablet you can pretty much run your show without a pc.

After I put in customer’s information, I can add an agreement (Contract), it will automatically populate the customers info, I type a few words, select a few options, finger sign the form, flip it to my customer for a finger signature, send copy of agreement and receipt to their email and done.

What do you like best?

Easy to use. Simple setup and very efficient! Not too many steps to complete tasks! From the time I log on to the time I am ready to leave out of the door takes very little time and effort now because of GorillaDesk software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We didn’t have any business software, and researched many different options. We decided to go with GD and are 100% satisfied. The software exceeded our expectations and also saved up money and time. Saves time in scheduling services and accepting payments. Previously I had to spend hours making phone calls to set up appointments. The automated email/text system now does this for me automatically, and the customers love it.
