What do you like best about FunnelStory?

I appreciate FunnelStory's highly responsive team who took the time to understand our unique challenges and worked closely with us to address them. The proof of concept phase was extremely fruitful, as they did not just demonstrate their platform but actively tackled the specific pain points we brought to the table. I also admire the solution's ability to handle our scale without issues, as we have thousands of customers and needed a solution that could manage significant volume. FunnelStory's predictive accuracy is quite impressive, achieving an 80% recall rate in retention predictability scores, which gives us the confidence to act on their insights and prioritize our success efforts effectively. What do you dislike about FunnelStory?

It's not a dislike but moreso the reality of our platform. Our customers have been adopting our new products and therefore, warrants us to to continuously update the prediction model. FunnelStory team has been really great to partner with because it's crucial to maintain accurate and reliable retention predictability across multiple products. Additionally, the initial setup of FunnelStory required collaboration to hand over data access through Snowflake and manage data permissions with sensitive customers. What do you like best about FunnelStory?

FunnelStory provides a centralized view of our entire customer portfolio, making it easy for our CS leadership team to stay ahead of risk and growth signals without toggling between tools. The UI is intuitive and easy to use, which made onboarding simple and quick for our team. Their customer support is EXTREMELY responsive—feature requests and questions are often addressed within a day. We use the platform daily to monitor account health, review call summaries, track adoption trends, and document internal notes. What do you dislike about FunnelStory?

What do you like best about FunnelStory?

I spend most of my time looking up data to see how I can fill in gaps for our customers based on their pain points. FunnelStory has been extremely helpful for this, as I can get a quick 'heads up' of issues they've had in the Topics view, and right there as well I can get a quick Sentiment analysis. Account Notes provide an excellent, quick summary reference for a snapshot of both recent and historical transactions.

I feel a strong sense of trust in the data FunnelStory shows me. It's smoothly integrated with ALL of the sources and tools we use, so I know I'm not missing anything vital and I can really rely on it as my single-source of truth.

What's really impressed me about the FunnelStory TEAM though is how they work with us hand-in-hand to ensure we get maximum value from the platform. They work with us to figure out how to deliver what we need, often introducing features or enhancing functionalities to get us there. It really feels like we're growing something good together, and everyone I've interacted with at FunnelStory has shared that energy.

What do you like best about FunnelStory?

FunnelStory helps me understand my data, and orient my customers onto my funnel.

We use FunnelStory for both our presale and postsale processes, and it is integrated with our CRM, CDW and other autmoation systems.

We deployed Funnelstory early on, and it was very easy to integrate it into my backend data warehouse. Once the integration is done, everything else is super easy to set up, including journey funnels, automations, and reporting,

I user FunnelStory dailly to get updates on imporant changes in my customer base - both highlevel updates (how many customers completed specific milesontre, how many are at risk, etc), and also specifically (where is the customer, what is their usage, features they use, etc.)

What do you like best about FunnelStory?

The best aspect of FunnelStory is its out-of-the-box analytics, particularly the Journey funnels and the Accounts view. The initial configuration was pretty straightforward. It was easy to connect to our data warehouse, Snowflake. We had to write some SQL queries to define in-product actions we wanted in our funnel, called Data Models in FunnelStory. This took some time because there were a lot of actions we wanted in our funnel, but it wasn't particularly difficult. Once these were defined and our funnel configured to use them, it became really useful. We could track accounts as they moved through the funnel towards purchase. If any get stuck, especially late in the funnel, we can intervene. The Accounts view is just nice to have in general. If you have a question about how a customer has been engaging with our website, our blog, our open source product, or our SaaS, we can just go to the Accounts view for them. It shows which users are part of an account, every interaction those users have had with our products (as far back as the data in Snowflake goes), where they are in the funnel, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FunnelStory?

FunnelStory offers valuable out-of-the-box analytics, but some areas could be improved. Writing SQL queries to define in-product actions, known as Data Models in FunnelStory, can be time-consuming, especially when dealing with a large number of actions. Although it's not particularly difficult, it does require a level of technical expertise and can slow down the initial setup. I don't have a good solution for this. It's unique to each user and writing SQL is a standard practice, but I still don't like doing it. Additionally, while the predefined reports and dashboards are comprehensive, there are occasional limitations in customization. Despite these minor drawbacks, the platform's benefits and capabilities still make it a strong asset for our analytics needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FunnelStory?

I love that it brings together both structured (product usage, training stats, how many users have used feature xyz) and unstructured data (call data and sentiment, meeting notes, email content) to bring to life to a full view of a customer but also start to model learnings across the customer base from all the information collected. I'm now able to get proactive insights on leading indicators (drop in usage, change in engagement, etc) before I have a lagging indicators (churn or renewal). The insights and out of box analytics I have are superior to any combination of dashboards I get from SFDC, Looker, etc.

Also, implementation was so smooth and we had a working model in less than 2 hours of configuring our instance. I also love their support model and onboarding approach and use of Slack to keep all questions streamlined and answered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
