SchoolAdmin's on-boarding and support team are absolutely amazing! They are always super helpful, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help us with custom solutions to problems, assist us through new changes/implementations and provide excellent customer service whenever we have needed it thus far. What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?

There are some features within SchoolAdmin that can only be adjusted/updated by tech support so, occasionally, you might have to wait on them to make the changes for you. However, they are always quick (never more than half a day to make the change) and, in most cases, those settings are complex/advanced so it makes sense that, for now, they are not accessible by normal end-users. What do you like best about Finalsite Enrollment?

From the very beginning, the set up and help in the transfer process from our old system was incredibly smooth. The change log is a brilliant document, where I can write everything I need changed in our application forms and inquiry forms and contracts, etc, without having to talk to someone one on one for every detail. The templates for emails and letters are customizable, so that they can be uniform with all of our other communications. The ability to have forms filled out by third parties (without requiring them to create a log in) is an enormous time saver. Everything is intuitive, so when I need to work out a problem, I can usually solve it on my own. And when I can't, customer service is always readily helpful. What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?

I would like to be able to attach a video to our emails. I also wish the teacher reports (where there are multiple choice answers) were a little more customizable, so that the layout could be just like the paper version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Exporting data is easy, but you get more than is showing up on your screen, so you have to do a lot of cleaning up. There are also great-looking charts/graphs that you see as a user, but you cannot download them or print them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Finalsite Enrollment?

The best thing about School Admin is the people who stand behind it. The customer service has been first rate from start to finish. They are accommodating, patient, helpful, and service oriented. In addition. the software is extremely easy to use and flexible so that it can be tailored to your school's needs and wishes. I wish we had changed earlier. End users have issues with how auto pay works and confused about the micro-deposits. The reconciliation of the Stripe payouts is a problem for us but the SA team has been working with us to find a solution or at least a temporary work around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Finalsite Enrollment?

The ability to book tours and student visits within the platform as well as the application checklist that the parents use to upload their application documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?

The set-up was quite overwhelming. I am a one-woman admissions office and it was a lot on my plate. I would have greatly appreciated the system to come pre-populated with templates for everything - inquiry and application checklist items already there with template email letters. Our school has other schools like it across the country (and world) and I am sure there is another using SchoolAdmin. So, even if the templates from that school were inserted and I could have just changed some language and steps. It was also really confusing to lose the implementation specialist I had before we were done and get a new person. There were major gaps in our implementation because the first person implied that certain steps were completed when they weren't.

On another note, I don't know when an application is complete. So, I have to constantly check what is happening with my applicants. I don't know whether there's a way for this to tell me. Perhaps it is a checklist item I need to create for myself.

Our students applying for grades school require a 2-day visit but the calendar only allows for a one day appointment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Finalsite Enrollment?

Having worked with a few platforms in the past, it was a rather seamless transition to pick up with School Admin at my current institution. While we could probably use some additional training after the initial, I've found reporting to be easy and data collection to be seamless. Don't get me wrong, it's not naturally intuitive for everyone, but they're happy to help by setting custom reports and helping with your information.

For our K-6 applications, the calendar for booking visits has been invaluable. I also love our electronic portals for teacher recommendations, etc.. As a 7-12 Upper School, it's been a great platform to collect all of our testing scores and transcripts.

What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?

Would like for the email system to be more stuctured like SalesForce, where you can blind copy and email and for the email to be uploaded into the school admin portal.

System is not incredibly friendly with Blackbaud.

I dislike how many clicks it takes to open up an application (admission - candidate in review - to application) and to go back to the list of applicants after reading an app. I would like there to be a drop down button or easy one click access to read applications and a way to move them over manually when they are completely read. I am very satisfied overall. As the company has grown over the last several years we did notice a change in the personalized support (not for the better), but now I believe the company has hired more people to keep up a good ratio of customers to support staff.
