Our work is more organized and intentional because School Admin allows you to conduct many operations through its platform. In particular, having the capacity to schedule events, share mass email communication (personalized too), forms, questionnaires, create reusable email templates, run re-enrolment all through the one system has cleared up a lot of our work. I must admit sometimes I feel as though they only have one customer - NMH School. They respond quickly, and it isn't always good news, but they never leave you hanging. If you don't need an extensive filtering of data, you will love the querying system. It is so easy to use. **What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?** We selected SchoolAdmin because it was user-friendly and supposed to integrate well with Blackbaud. However, it is user-friendly because of the outstanding support, but it didn't play well with Blackbaud, and it doesn't have the features that we were hoping to get after giving up apps such as Salesforce and Marketo, Salesfusion, and Infusionsoft. For the typical admission office, this system would be an A or A+_level application. If you have used some of the apps I mentioned and want to move from that point, then SchoolAdmin would not be for you. **What problems is Finalsite Enrollment solving and how is that benefiting you?** Because the reporting system is so easy to use, I can pull information such as gender, ethnicity, grade levels, decision types, full-pay and financial aid, and international students and domestic. The search function is fast, it has everything I need to track an applicant through the admissions funnel, schedule appointments, and communicate with families. I have a small team and a large number of applicants, so I value efficiency. SchoolAdmin has streamlined our processes and given me time back!! We went from paper files to completely paperless last year, but test score reports and interview notes were still on paper. SchoolAdmin has an amazing bulk upload feature that can take one large scanned PDF and intuitively match it to all the correct applicants. Amazing time saver! I love the ability to customize an email and share a list of missing forms with an applicant family. We had completed files so much earlier in the cycle because of the ability to automate so many tasks. Search and report is a flexible tool to build any report you may need. There are too many great features to list them all here. Parents have found the system to be very easy and user-friendly for applications and enrollment. SchoolAdmin created a system to share common teacher recommendation forms with peer schools that also operate on the SchoolAdmin platform. This has made it easier for both our applicants and our feeder schools. **What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?** SchoolAdmin has a unique system of tracking prospects, inquiries, and applicants in separate sections of the database. It's not easy to move individuals between these sections. Tracking inquiries is less critical to me as capturing their email address for future communications. I had to find new systems to work around that, but the benefits far outweigh this inconvenience. **What problems is Finalsite Enrollment solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving so many "problems" with SchoolAdmin: Tracking applicants through the funnel, paperless application files, online file reading, online enrollment and seamless integration with FACTS for tuition payment plans, customized online forms for forecasting, emergency info, permissions, etc. We have moved so many paper systems into SchoolAdmin that other departments will call Admissions and ask if SchoolAdmin can solve their problem too! ### 10. From the back end I like that I can get help from a School Admin staffer and they answer quickly and thoroughly. I love using "Search and Reports." It is so very helpful to be able to design my own lists. I love that I can see who is in the process of applying at "Draft Applications." **What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?** I do find the How To videos to be tedious and hard to read. They confuse me more than inform me. I hate that I lose my own access to "Search and Reports" when new students are moved to Enrollment. I need the "Search and Reports" so as to add the new students who just applied or were admitted. In admission software, each school's needs are so different. We have found with previous vendors that once you get set up with them, they aren't as willing to work with you. SchoolAdmin has been just the opposite - they have always gone out of their way to help us better utilize their system. In addition to being responsive to calls and emails, they also offer 2 areas that we have found particularly helpful. One of them is a weekly office hours webinar that addresses specific topics and allows for participants to ask questions. This has been conducted over Zoom. The second is a live chat feature that we utilize regular for small questions. They always respond within the hour, and if they aren't able to solve the issue immediately, they keep you updated on the status. I have used several different education-related vendors in the past, and I would say the customer service at SchoolAdmin is the best I've encountered among that group. **What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?** If you are looking for schoolwide all-in-one software, SchoolAdmin is not for you. They specialize in admission and enrollment and are VERY good at it, and they are unapologetically a standalone product to serve those two areas. We have considered all-in-one systems before, but we were not ready for that as a school. As such, we focused our search on finding the best admission platform, and that's how we ended up choosing SchoolAdmin. **Recommendations to others considering Finalsite Enrollment:** If you are looking for admission or enrollment software, you have to check out SchoolAdmin. Even if you don't end up choosing them, they have set the bar high, which will increase the standard you use for comparison. **What problems is Finalsite Enrollment solving and how is that benefiting you?** The first problem that SchoolAdmin has helped us address is reporting. A lot of systems make it easy to put data into the system, but it can be complicated to get it out. SchoolAdmin simplifies that process, and when we have encountered situations where we want a report that doesn't already exist, they have been great about working with us to create one. It is FAR EASIER and WAY LESS TIME-CONSUMING to use than the previous admission software we used. The other big thing we are excited to use is the Review Platform. Our previous system didn't have a dedicated review platform, so it could be tough to find the pieces of the application we needed to review the file. When we did, it was not always in the same order. SchoolAdmin's Review process pulls only the information you need and puts it in the same order for every applicant. ### 14. Our enrollment process has been streamlined and we seem to keep finding ways to be more efficient and personalized. The only other big downside we've noticed is the inability to create an account for an inquiry to come back to as families want to sign up for additional events. I am sure there are easier ways I can get through the data, so I'm putting that off on a user-error side of things. **Recommendations to others considering Finalsite Enrollment:** Take the time to know everything at your fingertips. There are still services offered through SchoolAdmin that I 1. don't use and 2. don't know about. **What problems is Finalsite Enrollment solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to be more accessible for prospective families has been wonderful. We were closed due to an impending hurricane and eight different families were still able to schedule tours, though our office was closed. ### 48. Great Support! Great Customer Service! We had previously been managing everything through Excel and paper but this has truly transformed our admissions process. It's been wonderful to have all information in one simple place, be able to check in with applicants/inquiries, etc. Their customer service is always spot on!! They respond quickly and are so helpful. I highly recommend them! **What do you dislike about Finalsite Enrollment?** I wish that all of the components weren't separately priced and I wish it integrated with our school information system. **What problems is Finalsite Enrollment solving and how is that benefiting you?** SchoolAdmin has been a time saver and wonderful organizational tool! It's been great to go back and review applicants, inquiries, etc. ### 49. Each member of the file review team has quick an easy access, on the go, to review student applications and materials and to score them prior to our applicant file review and decision meetings. ### 50. Finding the correct fields can be a pain, as the pop-up window is fairly small and not expandable. Maybe a search function would help. This exists elsewhere in SchoolAdmin (in email templates, for example). **Recommendations to others considering Finalsite Enrollment:** The customer and tech support are excellent. They are very responsive and will help you solve your problem or, when necessary, make the required changes for you.
