# Which VoIP software is best for customer support teams

Hey G2 experts! I want to start a discussion with the VoIP software community. Can any community members tell me which VoIP software is best for customer support teams? Looking at the different solutions on G2’s category page, I’ve narrowed my top software choices to: AirCall, RingCentral, and Nextiva. My full software list based on G2 reviews is below: 1. AirCall Noted on G2 for its browser extension support, Aircall makes call handling smoother from within CRMs or helpdesk tools directly. Can users pause a call from inside your support dashboard or pull customer activity without switching tabs in Aircall? 2. RingCentral Offers a robust cloud PBX with auto-attendant, SMS, fax, and deep app integrations like Salesforce or Dropbox fully packed for enterprise needs. Can you embed RingCentral’s click-to-call buttons on support docs or detect intent mid-chat from knowledge base queries? 3. Nextiva Best known for its all‑in‑one cloud communication suite, combining voice, video, messaging, and AI-enhanced customer experience tools that help support teams stay unified. How well does Nextiva handle queue prioritization or VIP customer routing? 4. TeleCMI TeleCMI stands out as G2’s Highest Performer and Easiest to Use. Offering rapid deployment and intuitive workflows, it is great for support teams needing minimal setup hassle. Curious whether TeleCMI includes built-in dashboards for SLA tracking or just basic call logs? 5. OpenPhone Recognized as one of the best Free VoIP software solutions, offering shared numbers, call recording, and lightweight CRM tools, OpenPhone is ideal when keeping costs low but functionality high. Does OpenPhone integrate seamlessly with ticketing systems like Zendesk or Freshdesk? 6. JustCall Named a Top Trending VOIP solution on G2, JustCall features multi-line management, CRM integration, and customizable workflows in a cloud-native setup, tailored for scalable support operations. Does JustCall enable automated callback options when agents are busy or queues are long? 7. Zoom Phone Called a leading enterprise VoIP option with AI-powered calling that works inside Zoom’s ecosystem, Zoom Phone is handy for support teams that already run on Zoom. Can Zoom Phone extract call sentiment or issue mentions and auto-log tickets from support calls? 8. Genesys Cloud CX Known for its robust routing, workforce management, and analytics, a unified CX platform that supports complex support environments and in-depth performance insights. Does Genesys support IVR configurations based on customer language or support tier? If you have experience using VoIP software for customer support work, I would love to hear your thoughts on my VoIP software list above. Based on your professional experience working in customer support, what VoIP software is best for customer support teams?

To create my shortlist of software, I read recent reviews from G2's VoIP Providers category and their article on the best VoIP providers in 2025.

https://www.g2.com/categories/voip-providers

https://learn.g2.com/best-voip-providers
