**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It is super user friendly, it has already saved me about 3 hours of creating minutes per day. It has all these cool, auto functions that save me time and help me to not miss anything, it's also integrated with Asana and Outlook so it can create tasks for me. I use it daily and I love it. When I had questions, the support team was always available and super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I can't say I dislike anything, and that is my 100% honest truth. Everything is customizable so if you don't like something, you can change it to how you would prefer.

The summaries that include recording timestamps are very helpful to me in my role as a hiring manager.  It has allowed me to revisit responses to compare and contrast so that I ensure that I am fairly rating each candidate.

I dislike that there are limited free product options.

It is solving the issue of having to multitask as meeting facilitator, notetaker, and the person sharing the action items after the meeting.

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I appreciate how Fathom makes it easy to enable for meetings and provides insights via email with clear speaker-level bifurcation of meeting data. I find the transcription and translation capabilities very above average. The email insights are particularly crisp and allow for quicker actions by correctly marking them against action owners. The better quality transcription and the easier support for Slack and exports motivated us to switch from our previous product. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The ease of enabling Fathom via mobile app or mobile version would be a game changer. Fathom currently works only via the desktop version, and a mobile app would make taking meetings on the move very easy and hence very useful.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fathom to record and get summaries of meetings, track upcoming meetings, and receive clear action-driven insights, facilitating faster decision-making.

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The detailed summaries and action items are the best we've seen from tools in this category. We've signed up our entire staff to use Fathom. Now we just have to find a way to stop bringing everyone's Fathom to our townhalls.

It would be nice if we could sort out the Fathom drop in automatically in the background so we don't get multiple staff members bringing their Fathom to meetings.

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I have used several other note-taking tools, but in my opinion, none of them come close to Fathom. What makes it even better is that it’s free, which I find incredible. The accuracy of the output it produces impressed me so much that I upgraded to the premium version without any hesitation. One of the standout features for me is that it works well with Indian accents, even when they are quite strong, something that other note-taking tools often struggle with.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Absolutely nothing to dislike. It is a really good tool! Just a suggestion is the way it takes notes from the conference room meetings could be refined (I hope the team already knows what i mean by that)

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To keep track of the action points accurately and even revisiting the recordings which often most tools do not do it for free is quite impressive and helps me go back and check if I have missed anything.

I love how I can schedule Fathom to automatically join and record my meetings. I also love the AI summary it produces after each meeting.

The only downside to Fathom is that it shows up as another "box" in a virtual meeting (and the recording), rather than a small icon or something less "in-your-face."

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The new bot-free capture mode is a massive upgrade. It runs silently in the background, capturing audio and generating live summaries without that awkward "meeting bot" sitting in the participant grid. 
For a startup environment where we are constantly jumping between technical syncs, architecture planning, and impromptu troubleshooting, not having to manually manage recordings or explain the bot's presence is huge.
The transcripts are shockingly accurate, even with highly technical jargon. It handles terminology around things like anti-corruption layers, event-driven orchestration, and custom agent frameworks without missing a beat. The Ask Fathom feature via MCP into Claude/ChatGPT is my favorite piece!
I can literally query our meeting history to verify exactly what was agreed upon regarding system design weeks ago. Plus, the free tier offering unlimited recordings and basic summaries is easily the most generous in the industry right now.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

While the AI summaries are highly structured, they can sometimes sanitize the conversation a bit too much. 
If we are having a deep technical debate about architectural trade-offs, the AI summary 

tends to gloss over the nuance and just list the final decision. You still need to click through to the interactive transcript to get the full context   of why a specific path was chosen. Additionally,  advanced action items and custom templates require a premium tier, so power users will eventually need to upgrade.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It completely eliminates the friction of post-meeting documentation. 
When discussing complex distributed systems or debugging sessions, I want 100% of my focus on the problem, not on being the team scribe. Fathom captures the raw decisions and action items natively, integrating directly with our existing workflow tools. It essentially turns ephemeral video calls into searchable, actionable engineering documentation without adding a single minute of overhead to my day.

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like most about Fathom is how seamlessly it handles meetings without any extra effort from me. It automatically records, saves everything to the cloud, and provides a full transcript. If I forget a detail or need to revisit a discussion, I can quickly go back and review it. The summaries and to-do lists are especially helpful, and I really like how it identifies different speakers and organizes the notes accordingly. Overall, it makes meetings much easier to manage and follow up on.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly, there isn’t much I dislike about Fathom. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be expanding its functionality for in-person meetings. It would be great if Fathom could also work as a standalone recorder for in-person or hybrid meetings and generate transcripts, summaries, and action items. I understand this is technically challenging, especially when multiple people are speaking, but having that capability in the future would make the tool even more powerful.

Fathom solves the problem of manual note-taking during meetings. Instead of trying to listen, participate, and write notes at the same time, I can focus fully on the conversation. Fathom captures everything, then provides clear summaries and actionable to-do lists afterward. This saves time, reduces missed details, and helps me stay organized and on top of follow-ups.

What I like best about Fathom is how seamless it is to use during meetings. It captures accurate transcripts and summaries without being intrusive, which lets me stay fully engaged in the conversation instead of worrying about taking notes. The action items and highlights are especially helpful and save a lot of time after meetings.

There isn’t much I dislike, but occasionally the summaries could benefit from a bit more refinement, especially in meetings with a lot of back-and-forth discussion. Very minor context can sometimes be missed, but overall it does a great job.

Fathom solves the problem of having to juggle note-taking while actively participating in meetings. By automatically capturing transcripts, summaries, and action items, it ensures nothing important is missed and reduces the need for follow-up clarification. I like that AI gives immediate feedback and draws it from specific time stamps in the meeting, allowing you to go back and review that - super user friendly. The ability to connect it with Teams is really solid, and the recording feature is great if we need to send it to customers. the overall performance of the program has been a very great resource and really helps support coaching opportunities.

it tends to be nitpicky but all in all, it is providing feedback based on the criteria that was created for it give feedback on. all in all, very positive experience so far.

Everything! It just works. The free tier is amazing. I'm seriously contemplating upgrading to access the templates, I think that will take me to the next level tbh.

I think the dashboard interface could do with some love, but there is nothing wrong with it.

Fathom helps me recollect the little things... things mentioned but never documented. The summaries are a great way to understand what to do next, it might sound trivial but once you make adding fathom to your meetings a habbit, you'll always have the context that you, and your agent _wink wink_, require.

Fathom makes it incredibly easy to understand the outcomes of a call. My team relies heavily on the summary’s key topics and next actions. Being able to see what was said at a glance also helps us a lot when defining new processes, and even when following up with questions for a client.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly, I haven’t noticed any downsides so far. It’s exceptional at what it does, and the reports generate so quickly that we can share them right after we hop off.

Definitely making sure we have everything written down after each meeting. Before, it was so easy to forget what was said when no one was recording or taking notes. Now it’s one less thing to worry about every day, because Fathom takes care of it.

I find Fathom extremely intuitive, and I'm really impressed with the summaries it creates—they're some of the best I've ever seen. The detail included in the transcriptions is excellent, including recognizing URLs mentioned in the conversation. The initial setup was very simple and intuitive, not requiring much work from my team at all.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It would be nice if it worked with RingCentral, but beyond that, I haven't yet found anything in the first couple of days of using it that I would want to see improvements on.

Fathom helps me remember what we discussed during calls and identifies key action items. Through its API, I can track support and sales conversations in my internal metrics, even when they happen on a client's meeting tool.

It was very easy to install and learn how to use its features. The notes are highly accurate, even when we use very specific medical terms. I love how well the notes are organized, which I prefer much more than Zoom’s AI notes. I meeting summarizaiton feature is the best. I used it to record a meeting of evaluation of an intern in my organization and unfortunaltely the meeting lasted for more than an hour. I was worried as I didn't note down any notes in my notebook as well. But when I was going through fathrom recordings, I saw the call summary, also it had an option to regenerate via custom instructions. Oh my god, that saved my hours of work. Being able to send clips from a call to different members of the organization is critical for putting out fires and troubleshooting tricky interactions that can be hard to reproduce. While this feature on its own helps us scale knowledge internally, it also enables us to provide faster support to our customers.

I love Fathom and its ability to capture the details of the meeting. I love the detailed reporting and the accuracy of what is being captured. I love the summaries, the ease of integration, and the user-friendliness provided. It is so nice to be in a meeting with Fathom, knowing the notes will be taken. I also love that Fathom allows you to go back and watch the recording as well. I love that it is easy to use, super easy to integrate on any platform, and that our team finds it easy to use is a huge plus. Customer Support is incredible. When I have had a problem (not many to speak of really) they are super quick to respond and so helpful. I love how it integrates and can be used by so many of us.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There isn't much to dislike about Fathom, even the free version, while not nearly as robust as the paid version, and only gives you a general outline of the conversation can be extremely helpful. I love my Fathom account and feel so lucky to live in this time where our meetings can be captured and sent so easily.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing me to be more present in my interviews and not having to worry about writing down/capturing all the information that I need from candidates. One way that it benefits me is the ability to look back and see what I missed. Sometimes it captures the details so well that I really don't have to worry about jotting things down. Lastly, it benefits the candidates in my ability to accurately capture what they are good at/ experience captured to refer to hiring managers. Lastly, I love that you can send the recording to others.

It’s very intuitive and easy to set up. I also really appreciate how accurate the transcriptions are, and how I can have the meeting notes right away afterwards. It lets me stay fully engaged during meetings without worrying about taking notes at the same time. Plus, it’s free to use! The free version still includes a lot of useful functionality, and I find myself using it for most of the meetings I’m in now.
