What do you like best about Ethena?

Ethena was recommended to me by a former colleague, and she only had great things to say. Her and I had tried moving onto Ethena at our former company and they were just stuck in their old ways. No biggie, it happens. Well, I’m now the HR Manager at a tech/social media start-up (I’m also an HR team of 1), the decision maker, and we needed Harassment Prevention Training. I knew I wanted to give Ethena a try, and honestly, I am BLOWN AWAY!!!! <--- if I could scream this from the rooftops I would.

I also want to share that my personal bread and butter is HRIS implementations, so I’m pretty comfortable with systems. Ethena truly has a solution for everything. I didn’t need to speak with sales since we’re only 15 employees, and within an hour I had the platform fully set up, customized the way I wanted, and ready to go. The price point was perfect (I also didn’t even look at anyone else 🤭).

I used your chat a few times and was amazed that the AI had every answer, even for some fairly nuanced questions. I did connect with a human once (Lauren Bareket), and she was so quick, kind, and helpful with her guidance.

The analytics and reporting dashboard are incredible. I’ve been in HR for 10 years and as I’m sure you’ve heard (and probably one of the main reasons you created Ethena) have used so many different training platforms, most of which are outdated, clunky, and boring. Our last LMS wouldn't mark some employees completed and we would need our employees to complete the training ALL OVER AGAIN. Can you believe that?! Ethena is the opposite…it’s clean, modern, easy, and honestly just.. refreshing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ethena?

If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be making it easier to see where employees are in their training progress. I wouldn’t call it a ‘dislike,’ just an area that could be made more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective Security Training with Room for Better Support"
What do you like best about Ethena?

I have been using Ethena for almost four years now, primarily for security training for our workforce and recently for phishing simulations. One aspect I particularly appreciate is the quality of the content, especially the videos and topics related to security training, which played a significant role in our decision to switch from our previous vendor to Ethena. The setup process was very easy, and having a dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM) greatly contributed to a smooth onboarding experience. Ethena has been instrumental in providing relevant security training for our remote workforce by focusing on crucial topics beyond just physical security. This has led to increased engagement among employees, with noticeable improvements in their ability to report phishing, security incidents, and smishing. I also find the multiple email templates for phishing simulations incredibly useful, particularly the tech-related ones that include password resets and ChatGPT browser history. These templates are realistic, utilizing the same fonts, graphics, and language as actual applications, making them excellent real-world examples that effectively test our employees against scenarios they may encounter. Overall, Ethena's capabilities have been a great asset in enhancing our organization's security awareness and practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ethena?

I dislike the inadequate customer support. When our contacts for phishing simulations were no longer with the company, no one reached out to replace them. This lack of communication and follow-up has been frustrating. I would like to see better support to ensure continuity and effectiveness of the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
