  ### 2. Use it for multiple groups in a charitable organization setting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry M. | Adjunct Math Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2018

**What do you like best about Crew?**

This is the best app yet to keep in touch, brainstorm, schedule, and keep people in a group informed on what's happening and what's next. It not only has painless group/individual text messaging capabilities, but you can also record and send voice messages and even videos! I used it to send a short instructional of myself setting up a rather complicated piece of software, and people were able to replicate the algorithm. You can post schedules, schedules of shifts, etc. For the unpaid version, you are limited to 10 ppl per group, for paid is unlimited. Also, for the paid version you may have multiple admins. Also, you can use across multiple platforms: Android, iOS, Windows, and multiple devices per account, in parallel.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

The only two things I dislike about crew are the following: If you try to send a message to everybody and you don't already have a conversation that you can reply to, you have to select everybody from the list individually. You cannot choose in bulk. The other very annoying thing for power users like me is that the app is always in portrait mode. It doesn't accommodate landscape mode. Also, there is a meager limit (10 ppl) for the unpaid version. Also, if you archive a thread by mistake, it is hard to recover it (counterintuitive). It doesn't have encription (as far as I know).

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Crew is a great app, and it has a free and a paid version. You can download and use it for several separate groups. Highly recommended!

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instant group communication, calling unscheduled meetings, informing about emergencies. Also, brainstorming ideas, virtual voting, and virtual meetings. Also, scheduling shifts and keeping everyone informed. Also, training people in how to use software, and even hardware. Also, promoting and encouraging employees for special achievements. We even share jokes. The threads are separate and can be named accordingly so you can keep track of them.

  ### 3. Instant messaging made easy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I like the integrations with SMS and with my cheduled meetings. Makes communications with a small team really easy

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Calendar does have ditches from time to time. Sometimes unable to delete certain shirts or move them

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes scheduling easier and better communicative for the team

  ### 4. App is completely useless

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

There is very little to like about his app considering it really doesn't work. The best part is the messaging.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

This app is worthless. I have been using it for a couple of years, and it had some minor kinks and flaws, but it I was able to get things worked out with a little finesse. Now, it is worthless. Anytime I edit a shift it makes the in and out times the same on all future shifts. When I try to fix the problem it doesn't let me. Have reached out to support with the only reply being that we have escalted it. Meanwhile I am paying $30 month for an app I can't use. Support will not replay to emails and only replies once a day to chat support. Who ever owns this company should be embarrassed!

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Avoid this app at all costs. I would rather use a stone table than continue using this app.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crew is causing more problems than it solves. Not once have they fixed support issue.

  ### 5. CREW 4 LIFE

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aimee V. | Value, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

It has so many unique features that really bring the organization together. From being able to upload and download files to group txt messages, being able to CALL other representatives without needing a phone number, adding birthdays and schedules - or even tasks for jobs. Its a great tool.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Really wish it had an admin feature that could override personal information in case a Sales Representative isn't tech-savvy or being a little weird. Other than that, it has everything we need to stay alert and up to date.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Definitely worth the price but if you have more than 20-30 employees consider doing a trial of the PRO version, it offers so much more on top of all the cool free features ((:

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as our work calendar which avoids confusion and makes sure everyone is linked and on the same page for business meetings. We also put our personal sales calendars on there to know when we have site surveys, installations, final inspections amongst other things and it keeps us organized.

  ### 6. Crew is a great addition to my work and it’s the best thing I used till now and I love it it’s easy

I don't like about crew is that it's take some steps to install it could be more easy and more efficient to use it's just need little improvement and otherwise it's great

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Yes I would like to say it's time saver and good to use and it's great you can work with a fantastic family it has lot to offer just keep working and it will help you more

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 7. Sending a Mass Text - CREW IS YOUR ANSWER

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Incredibly convenient application to use and keep my whole crew connected as I can send the announcements quickly and effectively. It's totally separate from your actual phone which makes it pretty cool.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Occasionally, the notifications are missed (that's a rare thing, but happened a few times) and that was frustrating. However with time and updates, things are improving at a fast pace with very little complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

I know a few people who left Crew App for their competitors, only to come back. What does that tell you about the software? It's better than the competition, so just start from the best itself.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Participation, Communication and Productivity. The benefit I've realized is that it is almost too good to send out mass announcements to all the workers inside the office.

  ### 8. Crew is clever and quick!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delaynie B. | Assistant Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The functionality of Crew is so intuitive. Not everyone on our team has the same level of tech-savvy, and it's fantastic to have technology accessible across generations and comfort levels with apps. Being able to reply and create threads is excellent, and the reactions confirm that folks read your message and let you have some fun.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

I'm not sure if it's just my device, but I frequently have "phantom notifications" on my Crew app that are not accurate notifications but pop up on my phone nonetheless. It always shows that I have four unread messages, even if I have just left the app.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Crew to work in teams and small groups on projects. It's easy to create smaller sub-chats for deadlines and more specific work and also have a central thread for general chatting and coordination.

  ### 9. Crew enables collaborating greatly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Crew app is one of the best connecting and collaborating apps I have used. It is straightforward to use and is smooth. Creating threads in the chat is very intuitive and easy.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Nothing much, but the app sometimes crashes in the middle of the work. Also, it sometimes shows a few notifications, but when I open the app to check, it disappears.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crew helps collaborate in our organization with people and vendors. It is a very easy-to-use app, so people with less technical background find it easy to collaborate well.

  ### 10. This is best software for online working

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I like that chatting with colleagues is easier than using any other apps. Also, the customer service is a lot easier to access

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Nothing to dislike as of so far. If anything comes up i'm sure the customer service will be ontop of it

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating across our departments, and cross-province teams

  ### 13. Useful but laggy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian K. | Director of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The best features are the ability to create groups, communicate within the groups, and reward team members through the chat

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

The servers will disconnect and lag frequently. This lag causes messages not to send or images/videos not to load often. I encounter this issue 2-5 times per week.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Crew, communication was pretty varied throughout the organization. By moving to Crew, we were able to streamline communication and keep everything in one channel/app on everyone's phone.

  ### 14. Amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxim A. P. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The thing I like most about Crew is that it is almost-idiotproof.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

The thing I like least about Crew is that there is a user limit.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

I recommend creating a bunch of smaller groups from the beginning.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication, quality & quantity, has increased.

  ### 15. Communicate with your team with ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle R. | Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I like that I can get a message out to our team in seconds, and if I need to, I can add a required response. Every team member can get the source's message, so there is no confusion or missed communication because the employee wasn't working or they weren't told. It is also a great way to recognize individuals for good work.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

We have around 100 restaurants, and sometimes it is hard to find an individual employee because they use a nickname instead of their real name.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can communicate at the store level without calling/emailing each store to communicate a message. We can also recognize individuals when a customer contacts us, letting them know that they are appreciated and did a great job.

  ### 16. like Facebook Messenger for work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Crew is an easy messenger app that lets teammates message one another very much like Facebook Messenger does. There's a smartphone app, but you can also access it on your computer or tablet. You can comment and react to different posts or easily start a private conversation with a specific team member. You'll get alerts when new posts are added or people react to your post. Like Messenger, you can see who's viewed your post and who's reacted. Your team can have various chat rooms for different functions (i.e. one for questions, one for announcements, one for status updates). There's also a file system built in that functions similarly to Dropbox or Google Drive and allows admins to share documents with the group that they can reference at any time. You can add gifs, photos, or videos, but my group doesn't have much need for these functions, so I can't comment on their quality.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Sometimes I'll receive several alerts on my phone and when I click on one to open the app, it will take me to the room where the post I clicked on from the alert is, but I've occasionally missed a post n another room that had come in at the same time. It's not a huge deal, because I could just get in the habit of checking all rooms before closing the app, but I wish that maybe the notifications were sorted by room and there was a setting option to not clear an alert until I'd opened that room.
I wish that there was the capability to create a room with a select group of co-workers. There are group chats with everyone on the team, or you can have a one-on-one chat with a teammate, but if a handful of people are working on a project together, I haven't found a way to create a room with just those few people. It's either one or all.
The reactions are a bit odd. There's a lot of reactions, like confetti, high-five, gold medal, etc, and they all have a specific thing they're each meant to say. Example: a thumbs-up reaction means "thanks," and when someone reacts to your post with a thumbs up you'll get an alert that "[person] said thanks." Then there's a "gold star" reaction which you can purchase to give to people as special recognition. If you give someone a gold star, there will be an announcement to the chat that the person received a gold star from you. I just don't understand the point of the gold star. Seems like an odd money grab. People don't get anything special for a gold star other than the recognition post about it. I personally don't see the point of giving out a gold star instead of just a gold medal reaction. That said, you don't need to purchase/use the gold stars, so it's not an annoyance, just sort of a pointless feature from my perspective.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great to have the whole team on the app for easy communication and the different rooms help keep everything organized. I've used Group Me with other teams and Crew is simpler and easier to use. There are less fiddly settings to mess up and the notifications are more consistent.
I wish there was a way to search for a specific post.

  ### 17. Employees connection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clarence M. | Lead Line Cook, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The complete team communication it allows.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Didn't find one thing I didn't like. It's a great app.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Great to keep scheduling in order.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team communication; gives employees instant access to their schedule in their palm

  ### 18. Domino's Pizza

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil W. | F, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The ability to reach any of my employees directly as well as them being able to reach me.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

The app continually freezes and doesn't allow us to clear messages that have been read.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling changes on the fly are easier to handle with Crew. Most employees are constantly engaged and willing to step up when needed.

  ### 19. Scheduling Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The free version of Crew has been enough for our company, and for a tiny business like ours, that's fantastic. We are able to schedule events and allow our contractors to bid for them with a click. It's so simple.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

They used to have a feature where it would push a notification when you were scheduled for a shift, and they got rid of that feature in a recent update. We miss that feature!

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous scheduling system involved a dry erase board, post its, a google calendar, and lots of texts and emails. Crew replaced ALL of those things. It has saved us hours each week.

  ### 20. Great Application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather M. | Data and Reporting Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I like how easy it is to contact the workers and you are able to give them gold stars

Communication

  ### 21. Great for Work

**Reviewed by:** Joseph D. | Customer Service Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Crew?**

What I like best about the Crew app is that I am able to easily contact all of my coworkers on the go without having to find their numbers.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

There isn’t much that I dislike about this app.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The crew app sometimes slightly glitches.

  ### 22. Send instant messages quickly and easily with Crew

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah L. | Administrative Assistant, Investment Banking, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Crew is an excellent instant messaging platform, it allows you to send messages individually and also send messages to created chat groups.

It allows to share photos, files and documents through individual messages or through chat groups. With Crew you can also manage your schedule, change schedules with coworkers.

Crew protects your privacy.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Crew has excellent functions that make it a reliable instant messaging platform, however, if you want to increase or improve these functions, for example increase storage capacity you must access the Pro version.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Crew is a very useful platform, I highly recommend it, it is a tool that allows you to organize work tasks, improve internal communication, has a Web version and can also be used from your Smartphone without sharing your phone number.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crew allows me to have my work tasks in an organized way, to know what my schedules are, if I need to change the schedule with some coworkers I can do it through Crew, it also allows me to confirm if an assigned task has already been completed.

  ### 23. Best team organization app!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abbie B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Announcements. Document sharing. Gold stars.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Only downside is the task feature not as efficient as it could be for assignments for multiple people.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Simple. Amazing. Support is fabulous.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team communications. Team announcements. And all important documents are located in one easy to navigate place.

  ### 24. Great for teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina M. | Customer Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Crew is a quick and easy to learn tool to communicate with your team. It shows who has seen your messages

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

It seems to be a small company as there were significant issues with uploading files including photos and videos. This made it difficult to continue to use the service.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

If upload issues are a concern might opt for a different provider.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick communication with your team is a necessity Crew was able to provide that even with the issues regarding uploading.

  ### 25. Great tool for Mass communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick B. | Manager, Consumer Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

When one of my technicians has a question and found something they are not sure of, they can ask the whole team at once.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

I don't like the limit of the video size that can be sent to others.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have new techs that cannot recognize certain pests yet. So they can send a picture to everyone so we can help identify it together. This way if someone else does not know too, they can learn at the same time.

  ### 26. Crew is extremely useful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer G. | Counselor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Crew provides a reliable way to communicate with coworkers and supervisors without constant and unorganized texts. It also makes keeping personal information like phone numbers private.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

It runs on internet connections, so if you run out of (high speed) data or don't have WiFi, it's difficult to use fully.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with my coworkers is much easier. There's different sections on our server that we can refer to if needed.

  ### 27. Stay in communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika G. | Brand Representative, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The best thing about the Crew App is that all of the employees can trade and offer up shifts when needed. We can also notify management if we are running late.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

i Don’t like that you actually can’t trade shifts. You physically have to give up your shift and that iteration has to give to theirs and then you both take each other’s shifts. There isn’ta trade shifts button.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefit of finding someone to cover your shift quickly is awesome.

  ### 28. Very useful communication tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha M. | Counseling Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I like that we can reach out to various people in an instant message type of format or the work setting. It allows for questions to be answered quickly and conveniently when used. It also allows the users to communicate about office inconveniences, such as construction being done or other software that is not working for everyone

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

There is nothing I can think of that needs improvement currently.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the problem of being able to communicate directly with others in the work setting. Benefits are quickly answered questions

  ### 29. Streamlined, user friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Crew is similar enough to other messenger apps that it is easy to learn, but has the added benefit of allowing users more capabilities that are specific to the workplace, such as recognition, scheduling, etc.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

It seems a little cheesy, and may be overburdened trying to be trendy.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can access our schedules from anywhere, so shift changing is easier.

  ### 30. Crew is an easy app that helps you stay in touch with colleagues and get important reminders.

It is simple to navigate and straight foward. Great cimmunicatiin tool for keeping in contact with co-workers. Sections/Categories are easy to navigate. Highlighted features are schedule posting, and who has read your messages.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

When it comes up, i need to scroll up/backwards in order to view the schedule. Not fond of the announcements and message to all in the application, are separated. It seems they are the same.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

It is a very useful communication tool for staying in contact with other coworkers. It is quite simple to use, and for that reason, I would recommend it.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many problems from work, stem with the inability to communicate with other coworkers. With this app, it is very easy, as it is an open chat essentially.

  ### 33. Easy to communicate to all

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Ease of use. I can set up groups for different departments or send private messages. Keeps business separate from personal texts

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Not much to limit on employee side. We should be able to monitor, mute, or limit activity

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Free, easy to use

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling has been much easier. Less time finding coverage for x amount of employees. Employees have more options

  ### 34. Crew App Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaelee D. | Director of Student Involvement , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

It is a separate entity for your coworkers to message you.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

It is disorganized and glitchy. Sometimes I get confused by it.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notifications can get over whelming so it’s not you can turn them off. The schedule feature is not organized at all.

  ### 35. Easy app to use in order to communicate with staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The Crew app makes it easy to communicate information to, share schedules with, and request coverage from all members of staff via smartphone.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

There is a learning curve when using Crew and its features for the first few times and it can be a bit difficult to get used to. It is a bit difficult to find some features such as coverage posting and off requests.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because it translates easily between Apple and Android, it creates a universally convenient experience for all members of a company's staff no matter what platform or software they use.

  ### 36. Convenient and all-encompassing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Convenience with viewing and posting shifts.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Interface is a bit confusing sometimes but it's easy to become acquainted with

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team collaboration; it has improved

  ### 37. Great way to communicate to large team

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I can access multiple locations and post information across all our stores in one app. Schedules go out on the calendar in crew and groups can be made for different teams.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Hard to navigate on the back end with regard to adding and deleting members. Too many steps to achieve one result. There is not much I dislike.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication is verified. We see each person that has read each message. Great at holding people accountable.

  ### 38. Simple system, great results

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess E. | Founder & CEO, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I love the ability to schedule my employees from anywhere and any device. I love that I can see at a glance what events I have going on a day and if I have staffed properly or not. It helps facilitate communication between the members of my team and has helped develop even more of a family environment.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

There are significant differences between the mobile and web. You can add notes to shifts on the mobile view, and they are prominently displayed. On the web view, not only is viewing the notes depreciated, but you cannot even add notes to the shift.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Make note that the mobile app is the only way to add notes to a shift. You cannot add or edit notes from the web version of the product. It can take a while to get buy in from your team. We had to use incentives to encourage the use and adoption of the product.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crew has simplified my scheduling and brought me from the dark ages of using a white board to a mobile optimized cloud based system that I can access from anywhere in the world at any time.

  ### 39. Great Team Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Braden K. | Assistant Director of Event Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I love the fact that it works just like a text message, but it is only for those who are invited to be a part of the group / team. It keeps all of our messages to each other separate from all the other text and social media chatter on everyone's phone. It is great to use on the web as well as the app on the phone. I leave the page up on my computer all day to easily send messages to the team.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Adding tasks to team member(s) feels clunky.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

If you are looking for a quick way to communicate with your team of any kind, I strongly urge you to take a look at Crew! It's FREE!

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are not able to ask questions to each other and know it is for work because it is in our team group. No more notes, questions or comments being lost in the chatter of regular text messaging on our phones.

  ### 40. Crew is great for employee organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Micaella C. | Great messaging and scheduling software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Crew?**

It is easy to use and very organized. You can find everything in one place meaning scheduling, tasks, employee lists, group messaging and more.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

If you don't have the app and just use the desktop version, it is not as effective for messaging.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with employees is easy and effective.

  ### 41. Crew is a vital hub for business communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Crew?**

In the restaurant business with dozens ofemployees, we use crew to communicate, post schedules and events, conduct meetings, and more. It is amazing for scheduling as employees can send requests for time off, switch shifts, and notify management.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

It is difficult to navigate from an admin perspective sometimes. We use multiple groups and chatsfor different reporting aspects. There are different members in each group, and it can be difficult to shift them around in groups as positions change.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Immediate communication.

  ### 42. Well structured communications app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wesley L. | Bounce King, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2017

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I’ve been using this app for a short time now but really enjoy it. Like most we are trying the free version but the structure for pricing feels reasonable at the annual level. We’ve been able to keep all communications within the app to avoid HR concerns of sharing staff cell phone numbers since all employees are invitees using the admin account.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

I’d like to see a trial period of say a month to give the Pro feature a shot before committing to the whole year. I admittedly have not read the T&Cs to see if there’s a satisfaction window offered.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Do it. So far the app is feature rich, bug free and smooth. Not too large or demanding and no cost to employee level users.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since integrating the app into operations, we’ve streamlined communication regardless of device OS. We had problems with users not getting complete or timely delivery.

  ### 43. Good app for com

Defiinitely more communication, especially on fast-paced updates.

I love the simplicity of the app and everything it has to offer! I use it’s for my church and company

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

I dislike signing up something about all the questions and fields l have to fill out bugs me

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being on one accord

  ### 45. Has a lot of capabilities but could be better organized and layed out.

The layout and organization of the app is a little confusing and takes some time getting used to.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling issues.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jozias M. | Customer Experience, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Crew?**

The control of the whole team at one place. Easy to publish announcements and talk to other employes.

A company can have more than one location. It would be great to have the possibility to set a person a location when creating the schedule.

**Recommendations to others considering Crew:**

Great software, with a few limitation. But they are always improving and realizing new feature. Support team always interact and really take notes of all your suggestion.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Phone store, keeping the team aware of the new promos and prices, schedules. Keeping the communication in just one tool, where everybody is on the same page.

  ### 47. Easy, convenient communication for multi team workplace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Crew?**

Crew gives you the ability to communicate with individuals and teams. It also has buttons that make it easy to reply without typing an answer. The app also has important information (i.e. schedules) that are uploaded into it. It is easy to access different schedules in the app rather than opening them in Google Drive or via email.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

Crew often has glitches and seems to require a lot of updates.

I teach in a school and Crew has allowed us teachers and staff to efficiently and seamlessly communicate without having to interrupt teaching.

**What do you like best about Crew?**

I liked that it was more streamlined than other group communication apps that I have used in the past. Also being part of a large group and being spread out, this helped a lot having a quick way to reach each other.

**What do you dislike about Crew?**

There were a few glitches and a few times messages were erased or threads disappeared.

**What problems is Crew solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were very spread out in a large space, so it was nice being able to reach all the other managers in one spot very quickly.

  ### 49. Group Messaging Made Easy
