"Convertkit, very good for email lists and tagging, but the page builder isn’t so great."

What do you like best about Kit?

I really enjoy how easy it is to create automations and sequences for my e-mail list. I found it to be very easy to get set up quickly and have everything on auto pilot! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

The landing page builder is really not very good. I find it difficult to create a sales page and landing page using Convertkit. I've had an acceptable landing page, but once I began using Leadpages, I realized how inferior Convertkit is, in that aspect Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Kit:

Be prepared to find a different page builder. This will get you started, but you will not be able to develop a good looking sales page of your own volition on CK Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?

Convertkit is a decent all in one platform and it's email deliverability is very good! I just dislike that it's difficult to edit the landing pages. Also, trying to create a sales page seems impossible. There's also no help in trying to figure out that problem. That is why I have switched to leadpages for page building Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super Intuitive and so much functionality for free!"

What do you like best about Kit?

It's simple, straightforward, and incredibly user-friendly. It has a ton of functionality for no cost whatsoever and allows you to create multiple different assets for your business on the same platform rather than signing into 5 different ones! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

I don't love that my forms and landing pages have a weird domain name because it's hosted on Convert Kit, but it's a small price to pay for a good program. Plus you don't really see the URLs when it's a "click the link" kind of situation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sign up for their emails too! They send along some really great tidbits and helpful business related information that I'm always glad to see in my inbox Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?

They're really helping with my lack of website-building knowledge. I never thought it'd be so simple to create a landing page or form for my customers, but it was absolutely easy to do... and even kind of fun! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

The pricing is much expensive compared to Mailchimp and other marketing landing tool. If the user subscription is lowered, say $20 per month up to 1000 subscribers.... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best and Easiest email marketing tool have ever used"

What do you like best about Kit?

The best thing about this tool is that it has a free version and it is super easy to use. Along with this, all its other features are also very good. You can create any landing page or form in less than 1 minute using its pre-built templates. It has pre-built templates for email newsletters too. You can send an email newsletter to your customers in just a few clicks. You can set a sequence email for a campaign and see the report in the dashboard. Its automation feature is very easy to use. On Convertkit, you can also add your products and earn money by selling them.

Along with these awesome features, it has easy-to-understand documentation, a supportive community, and CreatorUniversity. From time to time, they also send information about learning materials and new products through email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kit?

This tool has one drawback. If I use its API in a form of a WordPress page builder like Elementor and anybody subscribes to my newsletter using that form, it will not send any confirmation email to that person. It will directly add that person as a confirmed subscriber. This drawback can increase the chance of spamming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Kit?

I liked the option of having a landing page, user subscription management and a decent delivery rate in one place. The option of having a paid newsletter exactly matched my requirements. I found their delivery rate is better in comparison to other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Reporting is something that can be improved for sure. I use geo-tagging and bounce rates to optimise and improve my newsletters. It's missing in the Convertkit. It also gets pricey after a certain user base if you compare from other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wanted to create an email newsletter that can be managed easily while providing good open rates. I got to know about Convertkit from influencers in the Digital Marketing community.
