**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

What I like best about Comprehensive is how it brings compensation planning, benchmarking, and administration into a single platform. The system provides a clear and intuitive user experience for both HR administrators and managers, making compensation reviews more efficient and transparent. The market pricing and benchmarking capabilities help us make data-driven compensation decisions, while the planning tools streamline merit, promotion, and equity review processes. I also appreciate the flexibility of the platform and the responsiveness of the Comprehensive team, who are receptive to feedback and continuously improving the product based on customer needs.

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

The main area I’d like to see improve is reporting and analytics flexibility. While the platform provides useful core compensation planning functionality, some reporting needs can still require extra configuration, exports, or manual manipulation to get the exact views needed for leadership, finance, or audit purposes. I’d also like to see continued enhancements around workflow customization and broader HRIS integration options so the tool can better adapt to complex global compensation processes.

**What problems is Comprehensive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Comprehensive helps us solve several challenges associated with compensation management, including market benchmarking, compensation planning, budget control, and compensation transparency. Prior to using the platform, many of these processes required significant manual effort across spreadsheets and multiple data sources. By centralizing compensation data and workflows, Comprehensive has improved the efficiency and accuracy of our compensation review cycles, given leaders better visibility into compensation decisions, and helped ensure our pay practices are more consistent and data-driven. The platform has also made it easier to model compensation changes, manage budgets, and support informed conversations with managers and executives during the planning process.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

I appreciate that Comprehensive provides a single source of truth for compensation changes and maintains control of updates within a defined process. I can share finalized information in a controlled, view-only way and ensure that any requested adjustments go through the appropriate owners, which eliminates the confusion and misalignment resulting from scattered, unmanaged spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

Our only real pain point was on the integration side, which made some parts of the process feel clunky. That said, we worked around it, and our partner at Comprehensive did a great job teaching us how to navigate those challenges.

**What problems is Comprehensive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Comprehensive addresses the lack of governance and visibility that occurs when compensation data resides in multiple files and is edited by many people without clear ownership. Now, updates are centralized and auditable. Version control issues are greatly reduced, and it’s much easier to track changes, respond to questions, and ensure everyone is working from accurate, up-to-date information.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

What I like best about Comprehensive is that it centralizes the entire compensation cycle into a single, structured workflow instead of relying on multiple spreadsheets and ad hoc documents. Having one system perform and validate all of the calculations significantly reduces the risk of human error and gives me confidence when I’m reviewing or defending outcomes, because I know the underlying math is consistent and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

One area for improvement is how budget overages are visually communicated to managers. When a specific action causes a line item to show as “over,” even if the overall budget remains within limits, the red indicators can create unnecessary alarm and confusion. This could result from how we chose to show it, but the product team was very receptive to making adjustments.

**What problems is Comprehensive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Comprehensive solves the complexity and risk that arise from managing compensation processes across disparate spreadsheets and manual workflows. By consolidating data, calculations, and approvals into one platform, it reduces manual touchpoints, minimizes errors, and makes it much easier to audit decisions and maintain a clear, defensible record of the entire cycle.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

Comprehensive gives us a central place to store and use our pay ranges and bands, and then map employees to those ranges for analytics and compensation cycles. The ability to control permissions so managers, TA, and leaders each see only the appropriate combination of employees and pay ranges is also a big plus for us. The Total Rewards Dashboard with Carta integration is so simple and it helps show employees the full value of their compensation and equity in a very clear way. The team is also always open to feedback and willing to work with you to find any solution that works best when possible!

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

Our biggest pain point is the benchmark insights for sales roles, because the benchmark mapping feature currently shows base salary and doesn’t yet incorporate OTE. We also haven’t fully leveraged all the features (like bonus, salary structures, pay ranges) yet, so there’s a sense that the system can do more than we’re practically getting out of it today.

**What problems is Comprehensive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Comprehensive is helping us clean up leveling and pay alignment across the company and giving us a structured way to remap people, reuse Comptryx, and re‑examine our data by role and function. It’s also a key part of how we’ll comply with pay transparency laws by storing and sharing pay bands appropriately for both internal moves and external postings. Longer term, it supports our focus on engagement and retention by enabling us to share ranges thoughtfully, bring managers into compensation conversations with real data, and show employees a fuller picture of their total rewards rather than just base pay.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

We have been using the platform for our merit process.  It is very user friendly and intuitive for leaders to complete their assigned tasks.  We are looking forward to leveraging the platform for other functionality including total reward statements in the near future.  I appreciate the high level of support from the team.

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

It's a great platform.  I need to be more well versed in the back end for setting up new cycles, not a downside of the system, just part of the learning curve.  However, the support from the Comprehensive team is great.

**What problems is Comprehensive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a new platform to replace the system we had been using for our merit process.  Comprehensive has been a great option to meet this need.  I also appreciate the ability to have award letters for the merit cycle created and shareable with managers and employees within the system, as opposed to our old process which involved mail merges and emailing the letters to leaders.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

The support from the Comprehensive team was exceptional. The responsiveness and flexibility were outstanding, especially when we had last-minute requests and challenges. The ability to preview and email letters directly, without needing to download batches, was a standout feature for us, and our managers found it incredibly helpful. We also liked the flexibility of the tool overall and the positive feedback it garnered from our managers. They particularly appreciated how straightforward it was to send letters directly to their teams

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

The initial setup process was challenging. We chose to upload our data versus use an integration and we found it confusing that the upload was flexible with no template provided. We required a bit more guidance than anticipated, but the Comprehensive team was there to help ensure success. The analytics tools are helpful for analyzing data, but there’s room for improvement in usability, such as reordering columns or grouping countries effectively. We’re optimistic about using the system for future cycles, and we hope to see some of these improvements implemented to make the experience even smoother.

Comprehensive has been a game-changer in simplifying processes for managers, particularly those managing large teams. It made communication and approvals more efficient, we were able to carry out a large-scale cycle across 20 currencies, and the analytics tools provided valuable insights for salary and budget decisions.

The ability to customize the layout and formulas was great. Even better was the support from the Comprehensive team - especially with last minute changes that were needed! Managers really like the ability to preview letters and email to employees directly from the system (instead of a batch download).

The initial upload process was a bit tedious, but the Comprehensive Team jumped in to get our data into the system. The analytics were helpful but could use some changes to improve graphic layout (order or groupings of data).

We were able to easily provide managers their team data across multiple countries/currencies. As mentioned before, the letter functionality received a lot of praise from managers.

I really appreciated the platform's usability and adoption, which made the merit cycle process streamlined and reduced errors. The integration and vendor support were the best I've experienced in my past 8 years in the industry, and overall, I had a great experience. This was our first time using a compensation platform and it significantly reduced the manual work we used to do, saving time and effort.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

This program significantly improved my annual compensation process. Its user-friendly interface, robust reporting features, and ability to streamline workflows reduced my reliance on Excel, saving me valuable time. The access controls provided peace of mind, allowing me to build in redundancies to ensure continuity even in my absence. Additionally, our customer support lead, Katelyn, was exceptional—always helpful, responsive, and attentive to our needs.

Not too many, a few enhancements that we discussed that would be helpful but no show stoppers.

Migrating from a manual and arduous process. Moving from a single source to multi access which builds contingency planning. Also the reporting function aids in proactive compensation planning.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

Using Comprehensive is night and day in comparison to spreadsheets - it removes the possibility of human error, streamlines input from managers, and automatically creates award letters, which I would previously have to do manually. The Rippling integration also makes it super easy to ensure accurate information. I also love the Rippling csv export to make all the bonus and compensation mass changes we have during review cycles.

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

The manager experience is incredibly intuitive, but I wish it was a little more-so for admins. Their team has guided me through it with excellent support and I’ve already noticed significant improvements in the past year since I’ve been using it.

**What problems is Comprehensive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest value that Comprehensive provides is automating the manual work I was doing (pulling all the relevant data together, distributing it to execs, calculating increase and grant recommendations, creating award letters, etc.) Comprehensive has allowed me to condense a process that used to take 120 hours+ and condense that to single digits.

Comprehensive has streamlined our review and compensation process immensely. It has allowed us to provide our first-ever seamless performance review!  It also has provided us with a great platform to display our team members' total annual compensation and awards. We loved the ease of implementation and ability to customize features to meet our company's needs.

Set-up of certain features required a bit more technical expertise than expected, but our customer success expert made the experience less painful and more enjoyable.

Comprehensive is now our single point of truth for performance reviews, compensation, total rewards, and award letters. We no longer need a multitude of spreadsheets for any of these. Our people managers love the ease of the tool; it has helped us ensure we are equitable in our review and compensation process.

As an executive I can see everyone in my department at a glace - what they make, how that compares to internal and external benchmarks, what compensation changes are being recommended, etc.  It makes comp review season a breeze.  We've been using for years now and couldn't recommend it more highly.

Nothing I dislike!  I'm completely satisfied as a user.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

We have had a prior process of creating a master spreadsheet, then having to carve it up to send to Vice Presidents then receive them back and recreate the master spreadsheet to then provide to our CEO taking weeks and weeks of time better spent having strategic conversations about comp ratio positioning in line with our compensation rem philosophy.  

Comprehensive makes this easy, efficient and timely and reduces the amount of time spent in a manual process.  The logic builder to create the calculation logic is easy to use and enables customising our calculation logic to suit our needs.    Can easily track proposed increases against calculated budget modelling via the use of a matrix approach based on performance rating and position in the market.

Roger, Katelyn and the team are awesome support partners and went well above and beyond to ensure our cycle kicked off within 6 weeks making the onboarding process easy.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

For any P&C leader looking to modernise you're approach to rem reviews this is the tool for you. Comprehensive will help you move away from time consuming spreadsheets, that distract from your ability to make fair, market informed and impactful compensation changes for your people. It also gives you the tools required to drive transparency in your processes to whatever level you desire.

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

I can't think of too many downsides to be honest! Everything has just worked.

**What problems is Comprehensive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling merit increases & equity distribution across a global workforce of 500 people. The complexity is driven by the number of countries we operate in, and the layers of management structure in the organisation. Traditionally this was solved through very complex and manual spreadsheets. Comprehensive simplified this trendemously, and gave decision makers much more visibility on the data they needed to make informed decisions. We'll also be leveraging the total rem portal for employees to help them understand the value of equity & benefits alongside their base salary.

With comprehensive, there's no manual planning and no messy formulas. It made our merit process so easy for both the cycle administrators and the reviewing managers.

There were a few cuts of data I needed to analyze manually, but in reviewing after our cycle, we were able to find how to automate analysis as well. And, Comprehensive just launched a new analytics feature, which seems to solve that issue!

Comprehensive eliminated the manual work previously necessitated to do a compensation review. I can easily and efficiently review the compa ratio for my employees, both in and out of cycle.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

This tool saved our Finance and HR teams 30+ hours of work during the busiest time of the year. It allowed us to produce documentation that we need for audits. In addition, our users love the system. We had Katelyn as our onboarding maanger and she was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable,  and detail oriented. Our onboarding  experience was stellar.

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

The only thing I can think of is that it didn't easily integrate with our PEO provided performance mgmt tool. Honestly, We are moving to a performance system that integrates well with Comprehensive because we like the system so much.

It helps us streamline compensation management and provide visibility into how our managers are pairing comp increases and performance.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

Comprehensive's UI and the ability to easily compare where employees are at in their pay range saved us a TON of time at the end of the year (our busiest time of year!) and resulted in us better aligning pay with performance and ensuring pay equity across our teams. Our employees often share pay with each other and before Comprehensive we fielded a lot of questions / concerns about pay inequity before we used Comprehensive. We field far fewer questions/concerns about this now that we use Comprehensive and we overall receive better scores around pay equity in our engagement scores thanks to Comprehensive giving us better visibility into pay alongside performance, enabling managers to ensure pay equity across their team members!

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

I don't dislike anything about Comprehensive. Their Customer Service has been incredible and they've been really responsive to our feedback. I'd love to see Comprehensive integrate into more systems. One challenge in POps world is that there companies often use lots of different programs to support recruiting, engagement surveys, performance management processes, comp planning, etc. and the more these systems can talk to each other to consolidate the user experience, the more effective they'll be in my opinion!

It's helping us better align performance to compensation, ensuring pay equity across teams and saving managers a lot of time at the end of the year when we do performance ratings and comp planning.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

Communication between our HR/Project Team and the amazing Comprehensive Team made it a seamless installation and first Compensation cycle.  We have had fantastic feedback from Mangers/Leaders on the ease and clarity of the tool.  Would recommend Comprehensive to any company looking to add  this type of tool.

**What do you dislike about Comprehensive?**

I am struggling to think of anything that i dislike about this tool.  If we came across anything that needed changing, like  terminaology or layout, Comprehensive was able to  change or find a work around.

We needed a tool that was secure, easy to install (as we had a time constraint) and user friendly.  Comprehensive has saved time for our team but also our managers and leaders.

The Comprehensive team have gone over and above to ensure that the implementation of the Comprehensive tool with our company has met our needs and expectations to be fit for purspose. Feedback from user experience has been very positive and process was seamless.

Nothing I dislike as it will only get better since it is customisable and the team are able to iterate changes we provide as feedback for improvements.

Streamlining the annual remuneration review process and improving data security since we are no longer distributing and working multiple spreadsheets. It helped to make our compensation process smoother and more intuitive for users to refer to important information for decision-making. 

Comprehensive is also scalable to cater and adapt to growth.

**What do you like best about Comprehensive?**

Our previous annual Compensation process was run off spreadsheets and was inefficient, prone to errors, extremely time consuming and lacked any level of data integrity. 
Implementing Comprehensive removed all of these worries for us - the ability to see pay range tables for every employee, use logic to calculate salary increase recommendations and Bonus payments and expose only relevant information via permissions to our People Leaders and Reviewing Managers has given them a 360 degree view of their team's compensation which then seamlessly follows an approval process.  
At the end of the process, the seamless production of the Compensation Statements removed the headache of manually producing them and ensured complete data inegrity and therefore 100% confidence in the process and the system from start to finish! Everyone from our HRBPs, to our People Leaders, to our ExCo and our employees all had a wonderful experience with the annual Compensation process this year.
The support we received from our Implementation Team was phenomenal - we are in a completely different timezone, but there was nothing too big or too small for the team of superstars from Comprehensive. Plus their best practice guidance along the way was always spot on!

We have added a few wishlist items on the product roadmap (and the engineers were often able to deliver them immediately to us mid project which was amazing!), but the biggest one yet to be solved (and I have no doubt they it will be resolved shortly) is the ability to track changes made to salary increase recommendations by the Reviewing Manager > One Up Manager > Approver (audit log on those fields).
We would also like the ability to add more formatting (such as embedding tables) inside the Compensation Statements (but I know this feature is coming soon).

Comprehensive removes the need for spreadsheets and allows the Compensation team to view all people, their pay ranges, capture base salary increases and performance bonus amounts and then calibrate this information across teams. It eliminated 56 spreadsheets, removed the need to manually produce Compensation Statements and gave Reviewing Managers and ExCo complete transparency of all Compensation information across their teams.

We would love to see more options for inputting raises (example total comp versus raise amount) which I know the Comprehensive team is currently building.

The biggest value that Comprehensive provides is automating the manual work I was doing (pulling all the relevant data together, distributing it to execs, calculating increase and grant recommendations, creating award letters, etc.) and enabling me to run compensation reviews with a lean, non-comp-specific team.

The team is very responsive and supportive and will customize and do a lot of the heavy lifting. They are great at taking our feedback and incorporating it into new features.
