What do you like best?

Working with the team to solve technical challenges to create a calling tool that would allow us to call more of the electorate in a compliant manner. The team here is smart and always looking to make improvements, whether that is to fix a minor bug or find a way to safeguard accounts from bad actors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

With all technology like this, there will be bugs and snafus along the way. I like that during peak election times they adapted to expand hours for support. And they promptly responded to support requests. Sometimes the perceived problems were a function of not understanding how things work and other times it took a little convincing that there was indeed an issue, but I've found this to be true with every vendor I've ever worked with.

I do wish the pricing was more transparent on the website and that there was a way to be notified of pricing changes. That came as an unpleasant surprise in the middle of a major campaign season. But we worked together to address it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Initially it was a way to reach lots of low propensity voters quickly. But we both realized along the way that using a predictive dialer allowed us to dial quickly but we couldn't reach a large portion of the universe we wanted to talk to for compliance reasons. So we had to work together and quickly innovate a tool that would allow us to call more of our universe in a fully compliant manner. And that was done quickly. I consider the solution a great start with lots of potential for future improvements!

FYI, the next question below didn't have a great response for how we used CallHub. I chose "Proactive Notification" but we used the Call Center Campaign Clicker Dialer feature. We do not do any marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love that the one platform allows me to do peer-to-peer, sms broadcasting, AND log my phone campaigns. I Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I have very few dislikes about this platform, it has been a better experience than other peer-to-peer texting options. I do think there could be improvement in reporting capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Callhub is easy to use and set up. The user experience is generally smooth (our agents are volunteers so this is important). There are a lot of options when you are setting up your calling campaigns, you can make adjustments at anytime and it can be done quickly. We like that you can check in with your callers via message or observing live calls and recordings. The householding feature is great and the ability to customize call dispositions. The first year we worked with callhub we experienced stops in service and some serious technical errors without much support - but this year they have really improved. We had quick response times on support and no real technical snafus. They have really stepped up and seem to be continuing to improve their program. Their texting platform has improved quite a bit as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We can't manually remove a few contacts from a phonebook or mark them so that they aren't called again (for example, if a voters calls the voicemail number back and leaves information). The hold music options are limited in that you can't upload a play list - so callers hear the first minute of the same song over and over until they lose their minds or ask someone to change it in the back end. We work with a coalition of non-partisan, non-profit organizations who get the vote out during local, provincial and federal elections. What do you like best?

Easy to use and intuitive for calling agents and great 2-way data flow integration with our CRM contact data.

No-cost account set-up and testing makes for very easy start-up process and all subsequent costs are based on pay-as-you-go call connection time usage.

Our implementation with NationBuilder allowed for real-time integration with membership database for immediate tracking of call results, Survey Answers, specifically assigned Tags, and needed member follow-up. (Direct integration also available for OSDI, CiviCRM, Action Network, and Blue State Digital, among others.)

The easy Agent sign-up process allowed us to mobilize over 1,000 remote volunteer calling agents for very effective call campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some limitations on the ability to easily manage large volume of calling agents that required customer support intervention. Support was responsive and issues were resolved in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

CallHub customer support is simply amazing. I was having an issue activating my account for first use and they promptly assisted me into this. Furthermore, I love how CallHub SMS Custom Sender ID helped us consolidate our branding by having our phone number replaced by the company's name for the promotional campaign that we sent via SMS. What do you like best?

CallHub has helped our team to send customized text, receive response and build quality data. It is the best platform to automate the calling process as now day we do get many gate keepers, and spending our precious time with them is just waiting our time. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! We have had some feedback on the text area on ways to track the responses and the team jumped right in and made some adjustments that made our user experience AWESOME. We recently moved from a competitor who's service was bleh (among other things) - to come to a new company who is so responsive has been mind blowing. We will be customers forever!!!
