We have two warehouses in IN and CO. We sell significant product on Amazon as well as our own website. When Amazon announced that they were reopening SFP, I immediately started looking for fulfillment partners that would help make sure I can satisfy the strict SFP guidelines. I quickly found that large 3PL companies have large minimum monthly order quantities (many exceeding 1,000 orders a month). Additionally, many 3PL's didn’t offer SFP capabilities or if they did, they didn’t let you utilize your existing warehouses. Cahoots’ unique approach allows companies to utilize their own warehouse(s) and combine Cahoot approved warehouses to reach significant shipping coverage and Amazon SFP capabilities. Once setup correctly, the software quickly identifies which warehouses should ship orders based on location, price and inventory availability. What is also very cool is the potential to become part of the Cahoot network as shipping partner. Once we got all our channels integrated, we find it very nice to ship all our shipments daily using Cahoot software. Additionally, Cahoot has several features that help make sure shipments get to the destination the fastest and economically. **What do you dislike about Cahoot?** Finding success with Cahoots’ software is directly correlated to the upfront work you put in. Once we took the time to compile a comprehensive file of all our skus, shipping dimensions and inventory by location, we found the ease of integration was much improved. We found the customer service aspect extremely responsive and helpful which is extremely important because changing our shipping and fulfillment software is a very big undertaking. **What problems is Cahoot solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cahoot solves our problem of being the perfect 3PL partner since we own and operate out of two warehouses in the United States. While I ultimately elected to not partner with Cahoot at this time, it was in part because they advised against it. That's right, their honest assessment came back with a clear explanation of why Cahoot isn't the right partner with us given our current situation. They even were able to identify who in the marketplace might provide services better suited to our unique situation than themselves. In addition, a shoutout to both Indy Pereira and Manish Chowdhary who were friendly, patient, and simultaneously frank with me. The automated shipping label creation function eliminated 60% of our need to manually create shipping labels daily, which in turn gives 2-3 hours in saved time throughout the day. The support ticket system allows for fairly quick responses if issues arise. Another great feature is the email notifications for shipments that were delayed. This allows our customer service team to stay on top of issues and proactively work towards preventing any complications in our marketplace metrics. **What do you dislike about Cahoot?** The creation of international shipping labels can be a bit wonky. Occasionally, the rates displayed versus the shipping rate that is applied after the label generation is different. More than likely an API issue, but we're almost 3 years in and the issue persists. This enabled us to keep up with spikes in demand, such as when COVID-19 hit and Amazon FBA was backlogged for 2 months. I also love their built-in WMS tools, such as "Scan to verify" which essentially guarantees we are shipping the correct item every time! Finally, Cahoot has a customer support that really listens to the feedback of their users, and is constantly looking to improve their product. We started with them when the software was still pretty new, and they implemented many changes based on our feedback. Today they support many more than just Amazon, including eBay, Walmart and Shopify, but they still don't support some of the more niche marketplaces. But then again, with all the time saved using their automation it more than pays for itself. They also set up a HAZMAT shipping solution to ship our products that contain lithium ion batteries. They do a good job as a fulfillment partner and we've had almost no problems so far. **What do you dislike about Cahoot?** The Cahoot software is good but it has some shortcomings. Manual orders are a bit cumbersome as they require the order data to be entered into a csv file and uploaded to the Cahoot portal. Additionally, Cahoot does not "push" inventory numbers back to our Shopify store so we have to ensure inventory numbers are accurate across both systems.
