Is Bullhorn free, or does it offer a free trial?

No. According to G2 data, Bullhorn does not offer a free plan or free trial. Users need to purchase a paid plan to access the product. Visit the seller's official pricing page for current pricing details and plan options.

Who is Bullhorn pricing best suited for?

Bullhorn's pricing is best suited for mid-market and enterprise staffing and recruiting firms with the budget and internal resources to maximize the platform. G2 reviewers from the staffing and recruiting industry across mid-market and enterprise segments consistently report the highest satisfaction, citing ATS/CRM depth, automation, and integrations as core value drivers. G2 reviews from small-business users are more divided: those with dedicated admins and stable headcount find value, while lean or fluctuating teams frequently cite cost as prohibitive. Industries beyond staffing, including IT services, healthcare, and consulting, also appear across G2 reviews, though staffing firms dominate and appear to extract the most return from Bullhorn's pricing model.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Bullhorn?

Bullhorn offers no free tier. According to G2's pricing data for Bullhorn, all access is through custom-quoted paid plans, with no publicly listed tiers. G2 reviewers consistently note that Bullhorn's pricing structure gates significant functionality behind additional cost: advanced reporting, automation tools, customizations, and many marketplace integrations all require extra spend beyond the base license. One G2 reviewer described standard reporting as "from the 90s" without a paid add-on. Another noted that extra reports can cost hundreds of dollars individually. Prospective buyers evaluating Bullhorn's pricing should budget well beyond the core license if they require analytics, workflow automation, or deep third-party integrations.

Is Bullhorn considered good value for its pricing?

Bullhorn's pricing draws mixed but pattern-consistent feedback across G2 reviews. High-rating enterprise and mid-market users treat it as a premium investment, citing robust ATS/CRM functionality, automation, and integrations as justifying the cost. However, cost complaints are among the most frequently recurring themes across all segments: G2 reviewers consistently flag expensive customizations, paid add-ons for basic reporting, and rigid per-user contracts as significant pain points. Small-business G2 reviewers in particular report feeling locked into pricing structures that don't flex with headcount. One G2 reviewer noted switching away after finding better automation tools at a fraction of the price. Verdict: strong value for mid-to-large staffing firms; poor value for small or budget-constrained teams.

What do you like best about Bullhorn?

It has huge no. of Functionalities and also they are quite easy to use for a new user like me (who never used in past but now has full hands on it). This system has several market partners who provide extra technology that you can readily integrate/use to create a strong and efficient tech stack. If you have any problems or questions, the Support, Customer Success, and Account Management staff is always happy to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bullhorn?

The thing I can only think of is Sign-In. UI/UX of Sign-In can be improved as I dislike this part the most. Sometimes it also breaks the connectivity between server and front-end so if this can be resolved, it will add more value for your users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bullhorn?

There are many features that do not work correctly and when approached, the response is that they are working as designed with no intent to correct. All customizations are expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
