Love the integration with email, would like integration with SMS. **What do you dislike about Crelate?** Search options are not powerful enough; I want to be able to carry out more elaborate Boolean searches. Order of records changes constantly, so when going through a long list it is hard to be systematic. **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** Just try to it for a week, it doesn't hurt. ### 8. The continued improvements to the product with new features and performance in response to our requests from the Crelate team is very unique and not likely found in many (or any) other software CRM/ATS product companies. The support in training has been great and allowed us to learn a little at a time as needed to help us use more of the tool's features when we were ready to take it on. And, they are great people to work with! **What do you dislike about Crelate?** We are still exploring how to leverage the system for business development efforts as it is not set up with that specific workflow in mind. I am confident it will come as the other features we wanted have been implemented as promised. You can work around it, and we don't need a lot of processes for Business Development, so its not causing us too much pain. The candidate search features are more important for now and the new release looks to close any of the remaining gaps. **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** If you are not operating a big team of biz dev "dialer" type sales people with a lot of contract volume, you should check out Crelate. The simplicity of the UI and system and ease of adoption keeps the "new system adoption" pain factor really low. Remember to get a couple of training sessions on the system after you have started using it to make sure you are getting the most out of it as it relates to the way you like to work best. **What problems is Crelate solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were working off of Google docs/Outlook primarily before because our previous ATS had a horrible overcrowded UI and didn't allow us to collaborate on projects the way just using a shared spreadsheet did. We wanted to have a place where we could capture all of our work, search in our database easily and allow anyone on the team to have access candidates and information we collect. We don't have a large team or much time to learn a big system, so the lightweight and flexible configuration options made this one a great choice for us. ### 9. Crelate works best in my opinion for boutique external firm (vendors) who need to be able to easily customize things, and not for internal (corporate). **What do you dislike about Crelate?** the product is still young so it's obviously a work in progress. this is not a criticism; we signed up post-beta knowing there would be iteration but well worth the trade off because we have influence as the product matures. we love having this opportunity. search tools and results, (ranking, relevance) need to be better and this is also a work in progress. all of the things that could be better are things the team is aware of and are addressing with each new release. weekly office hour for all users with a customer service rep would be awesome (via joinme or zoom or whatever tool). the current solution is a candidate relationship management solution, but there is not yet a great client relationship management feature or a workflow that supports business development / prospecting/ sales process but i would love that some day. **Recommendations to others considering Crelate:** if you are a recruiting firm looking for a solution, i highly recommend crelate. we love this solution! **What problems is Crelate solving and how is that benefiting you?** we are executive recruiters. so we solve one-of-a-kind talent searches for our clients. every search we do is custom designed within Crelate : our Crelate enables us identify people that we already know of (through search, or through affiliation with another project, etc) , and helps us easily import data on new candidates into one new project . We can see what conversations we've had with candidates in the past and outcomes of those. we can move candidates through the workflow and activities of a search project logically, using our unique labels & language. ### 10. I am a former Maxhire lover.
