I have used Buffer for some time and really love it. I've used it for personal business use as well as for clients. I love that Buffer offers a lot for businesses for free; however, for those who would like to invest in the product to get more features, you can do with at a small fee with their Awesome Plan. I recommend this tool to everyone. It's easy to use and learn. Plus, they offer Buffer for Business, and it can be integrated with any social media platform - Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could schedule for posts with the free version of the social media manager, but the free version still provides a wealth of value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer's dashboard is super easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about this platform! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a free service and does not over complicate social media posting. It is easy to schedule (and reschedule) my posts in advance, and the amount allotted for a free account is generous. In general, I prefer posting from this application, especially because of the analytics provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not do a great job of customizing posts for various social media platforms, so I make a separate post for twitter and facebook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i really like how Buffer handles posts to Instagram. It could be a hassle due to Instagram's rules about automatic posts, but Buffer makes it a breeze. You can schedule posts in advance and then publish them on a schedule or when you're ready. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't warn you if some of your photo will be cut off on instagram. This could be an issue if there's some kind of text going on, and means that if you want to cross post on Twitter & fb, everything must be Insta-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How it's extremely easy to use! The interface is awesome and simple for anyone to understand. I also love that I can add team members with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That there isn't Instagram direct posting, only Instagram reminder posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer is easy to use and has reporting that allows you to see which posts had better reach and interaction. Buffer also allows you to schedule for the best time for your followers which takes out the guesswork of scheduling posts! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They only allow 3 platforms under the free account. While it's not that expensive to have a paid account, it might have better reach with more platforms available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been managing social media for almost 5 years now. I've used every scheduler around. Buffer continues to impress. They have a beautiful user experience. And I love how transparent they are about upcoming changes and updates in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike their current analytics platform. It's not very helpful. But because of their transparency, it sounds like they're making big updates to it soon and I can't wait to see the changes! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Buffer is easy to use. It doesnt give you the complications like other social management software It automatically shortens weblinks too which is great when you have limited characters Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The free version offers limited account usage. It also does not offer Pinterest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Buffer is great because of its ease of use.
It allows me to connect an RSS feed from my own website to pull in links and photos for Facebook and Twitter posts. That way, I never forget to post a story and don't have to take a ton of time out of my day to execute social media strategy. It has the option for me to switch between multiple accounts and schedule as I see fit, as well as optimizing the times I'm posting based on my audience. It's also relatively inexpensive, compared to SproutSocial and other comparable social media management systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very few things I dislike—I'd like slightly more advanced analytics, as far as clickthrough and reach go. It's fine to find things on Facebook, but I think I'd like it to be my entire social media tool in one place. Also, I would expect further insights based on its being a paid product.
