"Disappointing Pilot Experience – Misaligned Expectations and Poor Refund Handling"
What do you like best about Brightcall.ai?

The concept of AI-driven calling automation is appealing, and the initial sales conversations painted an exciting picture of a hands-off solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Brightcall.ai?

The pilot experience was disappointing and fell short of expectations. Several key issues emerged:

Undisclosed manual confirmation step: This undermines the “hands-off automation” that was promised, leading to missed inbound prospects.

Data quality gaps: Around 10% of calls showed no results, and many “voicemail” tags required manual follow-up.

Scheduling rigidity: The system only offered specific slots, preventing real-time availability for inbound clients.

Mismatch with sales representation: The pilot did not reflect the capabilities shown during the sales process.

Despite raising these concerns, Brightcall denied a refund—even though we did not use a single one of the 6,000 paid credits, only the promotional ones. Their position is that the pilot is “non-refundable,” but this ignores the fact that the product delivered was materially different from what was pitched. Since then, they have gone silent on my follow-up request.

What do you dislike about Brightcall.ai?

Support is non-existent. We are not a high paying client, but we've had an open ticket for over a month now and have to regularly follow up for updates / insights. It's been weeks since we've heard from the team or our sales guy and ultimately cancelled after a three month trial. I would avoid signing up for longer term deals so see if this is the right company to partner with.

We were hoping to test with one or two reps and roll out across the team, but in addition to the poor customer service, the tool lacks much of the functionality other dialers have. Plus, the platform self serve capabilities are not intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We’ve been using Bright Call for a while now, and it’s been such a reliable telephony system for our business. The call quality is great—clear and consistent—and we rarely experience any downtime, which is a big plus.

The features, like call recording and analytics, have really helped us track and improve our customer interactions. The system itself is easy to use, so it didn’t take long for the team to get the hang of it.

What do you dislike about Brightcall.ai?

Although I appreciate the native integration of Brightcall.ai with HubSpot, I believe it could be more comprehensive. Currently, the integration allows call activities, lead information, and other interactions to be logged directly into the HubSpot CRM, making automation and lead tracking easier. However, a more complete integration could include additional features such as real-time bidirectional data synchronization, enhanced support for custom workflows, and more flexibility in customizing fields and parameters.
