**What do you like best about BombBomb?**

I use BombBomb for sending overviews to clients, explainer videos, and team updates or trainings. I like that it gets the emotion across and helps reduce ambiguity that written text can create. It saves time when it comes to explaining things. I appreciate the screen recording feature because the person I want to send a message to sees exactly what I see, making it almost feel like it's real-time. The initial setup was pretty simple.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

It takes a little while for it to open up and the phone app (Samsung) sometimes shows lower video quality and oftentimes doesn't allow me to fully upload a video that was recorded on my device.

**What problems is BombBomb solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use BombBomb for sending client overviews and training updates. It conveys emotion and reduces ambiguity better than text, and saves time when explaining. The screen recording lets recipients see exactly what I see, making it feel almost real-time.

I use BombBomb for sending video emails and texts, which helps me keep top of mind with clients. I like its ease of use and feel that it works very well for its intended purpose. The teleprompter feature is particularly valuable as it helps me remember the script. Additionally, the initial setup of BombBomb was very easy.

It could be easier to load to social media.

**What do you like best about BombBomb?**

Been using BombBomb since 2013.
I've had the pleasure of speaking to the team too and what an awesome crew! Huge hearts, massive brains, and WOW do they innovate.

Here are the product specific things I most greatly appreciate:
- Being able to use a usb connected camera to film
- The Spinet feature allows me to copy frequently used email bits, footers, etc. and insert them easily.
- Email recipients being able to video reply
- Being able to schedule a video send date/time
- The ability to create automated video email drip series

Also, knowing that the BombBomb team is pushing so hard to innovate and better the product makes me feel confident in building SOP around their solution.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

Back in 2013, when I started with BombBomb, I had a few issues. Between 2013 and 2022, every hesitancy to lean into BombBomb has been destroyed, and it is now a daily use tool to connect with a friendly smile or stern message.. whichever is needed. Point is, when you need to communicate, the face can add compassion to a challenging message and brighten glad tidings. Video just makes it all better and BombBomb makes video easier. Dang... this was supposed to be my "dislike" box. What a fanboy ;)

**Recommendations to others considering BombBomb:**

As always, start with that free trial. :) Once you've got your account, before diving in, consider how you naturally interact with your clients. Take a quick moment to sketch out your perfect first meeting, follow ups, common questions you get asked, and your most effective onboarding process. These are exactly the interactions you may want to film, because they can help your clients get to know you while you are doing other things. Anyway, as you can tell, I'm a real fan. Great product, great people, helping you be great.

**What problems is BombBomb solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like many I'm sure, I have a wide range of emails. Some of mine are communicating with new widows who have recently suffered great losses. Others are part of mentor teams that may require critical feedback. And gratefully, many are filled with "Massive Congratulations" and "I'm So Very Proud Of You!".. those are the best. :) 
In any case, there are valuable inflection points of communication that can get lost in "text only" translation. However, with video, you can clearly express pain, concern, and jubilee .. you can delicately correct .. and with the help of props, you can create extremely memorable meeting follow-ups that folks will never forget.

Additionally, there are the highly valuable benefits of email open, video watch reporting... and oh my I almost forgot! Your recipients can reply to you with a video!! Once you get that kind of back'n'forth going.. priceless.

**What do you like best about BombBomb?**

I have been using BombBomb since 2011 and recommend it to all my clients who want to use Video in their email and marketing strategies. It's crazy easy to use (from desktop or mobile device) and add the personal touch to emails that helps 'cut through the noise' of text only or text heavy emails - right to the inbox. In other apps, you have to link to video hosting websites, while you 'kinda' have to do that with BombBomb, it is much more seamless and transparent to the receipient. I can even embed the videos into my websites when needed. I also like that they keep innovating as user expectations grow in this area.

I love the customer support as well—they typically respond in 24 hours (or less) with a personalized tutorial or a short video response, so I can easily 'see' the information.

I have been using BombBomb weekly for over 13 years!

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

The Email builder can sometimes be clunky when adding a lot of different content blocks. We use BombBomb as a weekly and monthly video newsletter, so many times, the emails can grow to be a bit longer, and manipulating some of these content blocks can get a bit cumbersome.

**What do you like best about BombBomb?**

The three best things about BombBomb are: 1. The automatic creation of a GIF that I can put in the related email makes my email open rates (sending to an individual not mass email) nearly 100%; 2. Glitches are minimal; 3. Onboarding, training, and continuing suggestions for video content are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

The price is relatively steep. I stopped using BombBomb at one point to cut costs and came back, because I think it's worth the extra spend.

BombBomb helps me to save me and my clients time while not sacrificing personalization. Instead of having to arrange in-person meetings that could take hours for brief topics that are difficult to just discuss over the phone, I can use video and show clients what I would have shown them in person in a fraction of the time.

What we like best is the integration into Google Chrome - it makes it so easy to email a video to a client instead of typing a message. We always get positive feedback when we do a video.

I have been using Bomb Bomb for about 5 years and it is awesome! My clients love getting personalized video emails from me.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

It is so easy to ramble on in my videos. That is more of my problem, lol. My only complaint is I use Chrome while using Bomb Bomb. For a year or so whenever I open Chrome the BombBomb extension does not start with my browser. I have to refresh the browser each time. I don't know if it is a Crhome problem or the BombBomb extension but that is my only complaint. I just thought if another one. The screen record doesn't work right. It always needs to do a work-around so it will work.

BombBomb saves me from typing out long emails and letting me send a video with my face on it and my clients appreciate it.

Love it.  This is the Best Tool to get customer Engagement.   - Top of the Class. Have been using this for over 8 years.   More so in the last 5 yrs - probably around 3 - 5 times a day

hate their done for you templates, (which you cant delete),   I have built my own templates, now, and my default one is normally at the top of the list, but once you know how to put your own in - 100%
Would be better if the record screen to be higher up the screen, so when you look at yourself in the record, then you are not looking down the screen rather than what you should do is look at the camera

BombBomb is fantastic in allowing me to distribute video to large numbers of people in an easy, professional, graphically pleasing format. The support team at BombBomb is always helpful and answers my questions or handle my issues quickly.

If there are any downsides to BombBomb, I haven't found them yet.

BombBomb allows me to convey detailed concepts in a MUCH more efficient manner than a written email, and by putting everything into a video I can deliver presentations or simple thoughts quickly and at a time where the recipient can take the time to watch. There's never a time that someone who receives one of my video emails is going to be distracted by kids, work, or othr business because they can watch it on their own schedule.

**What do you like best about BombBomb?**

It works seamlessly! The platform is simple, smooth, and easy to navigate. I never had an issue with bugginess or glitches. The simple fact is this: if you want to send video messages, Bombbomb is the OG and standard that all other companies are compared to. I’m sure there are companies that have more bells-and-whistles, but I’d be hard pressed to believe the extras would really be utilized. More importantly though, the integrations into other platforms or software is abundant, and what’s more is the integrations are very well developed to work smoothly and seamlessly together. Plain and simple: it doesn’t just work, it works very well.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

Although they integrate with many platforms there are many they don’t. However, that may have nothing to do with Bombbomb, but with the other companies. Also, they seem slow at bringing out new features, but my thoughts are if they were faster or brought out more, then the application wouldn’t be as smooth and would likely have more bugs or glitches. Finally, I feel the price is sort of high, especially with the difference in tiers and what you get. Oh also, I like the old logo & branding better rather than the updated branding, but if they did it why I presume they did it, I completely understand.

BombBomb is solving the challenge of standing out against all the others in the competition, and more importantly building relationships and rapport with clients and business partners. They also provide a way to easily explain something through demonstration, which can be done and watched at different times rather than two or more parties having to coordinate a time together to make it happen.

There isn't one thing I like best about Bombbomb I utilise a lot of aspects of it and utilise them on a day-to-day basis within my business and I consider it to be one of my USPs.

Sometimes it logs you out on the mobile app or on the plugin which is a little annoying. I do think there is room for some additions to the platform as well.

It allows me to leverage my time by using evergreen videos and I can communicate on a much deeper level when sending out a personalized video to a client/prospect that is engaging and allows me to track their response. The customer support is terrific! They really care about your issues and want to resolve them quickly and want you to succeed.

When I want to send a evergreen video I have to look up their email elsewhere.

**What do you like best about BombBomb?**

BombBomb is great for people who want to implement video, but struggle with how to do it. The simple trimming, ability to add in scripting/screenshares, the integrations offered, and the ways you can share it via link or embedded make it so that you can really leverage it in a way that makes sense for you! It's a game changer to be able to integrate with our CRM, Total Expert to send mass videos to our database.

I dislike that when using the platform, it's one take. You can't pause and restart once recording.

Being able to send video and track how people are interacting with it. We send how-to's, announcements, and more. We also help LOs send updates and their own videos whether they're one offs or for the masses!

It enables me to show customers rather than tell them over the phone or explain in a lengthy email. Its quick and easy to use.

That the CTA cant be saved, therefore it has to be entered in after each video recording.

It gives me the means to show clients I have done the research and can show then in screen sharing. This elliminated the clients doubt of facts and statistics.

It's so easy to use! The desktop and mobile version are both user friendly and templates are fantastic. I love being able to track engagement and create lists to manage contacts.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

One problem I've encountered, is some company emails have a firewall which doesn't allow BombBomb emails to be delivered. This is through no fault of theirs, but it does limit me from communicating to my entire sphere using just this platform.

**What problems is BombBomb solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to get in front of clients who are remote to create relationships and provide valuable information. It also allows me to maintain a large customer base on a personal level.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

They've gone away from human-centric and have implemented a really terrible support process (like most tech companies).  Enter ticket hell, then get bugged for a review on how the support process was every time.  Very annoying to try to get help.  Their support team over the past few years has been disappointing to work with.  They've also let some integrations lapse which is very disappointing.  I enjoyed the product more a few years back overall.

It allows me to get a message to customers as a person without needing to be local or face to face.  It allows better expression of thoughts and improved communication.

I keep in contact with my entire database via Bombbom. We send a weekly e-newsletter that goes out with a new video.
The format and presentation of the email are great, and the video "moves" on people's screens for a few seconds, which makes it compelling for clicking.
It is easy to create contact groups and for tracking. 
The costumer services is also great. They are fast to answer and they always send you a video on how to do it.
BB is also great for sending my monthly market update and pre-listing appointment videos. 
They have lots of email templates.

It is not so “obvious” and user-friendly initially, but if you watch the “how to” videos, you’ll figure it out eventually. For example, I never liked the margins in my newsletter, how close the text was to the edge, and I never could fix it. Until one day, I found a video that showed how to do it—the same for adding people’s name to the emails.

It’s easy to communicate with my CRM where I craeted different contact lists, like for example, “past clients” and “Facebook/online leads”. This way I send the appropriate content for each group.

Our marketing agency uses BombBomb internally like you would Loom. The difference is external communication. We use it for blast emails, such as new portfolio work, and you can use it inside Salesforce or Outlook. The other video email systems are very nice, they just don't do the heavy lifting like you would in sales and marketing.

There is time needed to get it embedded and get people accustomed to using it. This is not just a screen recorder. To get the value, you have to spend the time with setup and encouraging people to use it.

We're in a visual business. The creative work or the reports are what the clients needs to see. This reduces a lot of meetings and back and forth, plus you can use it in everyday marketing and social posts. The ability to shift between a single shot of my face to the screen record function is great!  The ability to integrate with Outlook and Gmail is fantastic, and so is the iOS app.  I just shared a recommendation with a Real Estate agent today and explained how this program made me stand out as a loan officer.  I use BombBomb to explain topics that are too wordy/lengthy for email.  However, some folks need to listen and watch something at the same time, which is why I use the "Record Screen" function.  Also, a phone call cannot be played over again like a video can.  It's a real game-changer.  It makes me stand out in my industry.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

The editing tool needs to be more powerful.  I believe that I can trim the beginning or end of a video, but sometimes, I really need to cut something out of the middle of a video.  I would love to see that functionality along with something that transitions a cut to make things look professional, like a fade cut or maybe a quick cut to white that comes back in.  We don't need a TicTok level editor...just something basic that can be done to avoid having to reshoot just because I had a coughing fit mid-video.

As previously mentioned, I use BombBomb nearly every day.  I have two strong reasons why I use BombBomb.  For starters, I use it to explain complex topics by narrating content with the "Record Screen" function.  The fact that clients can play the video several times is a plus.  It saves me from taking the time to write a wordy email that will not be fully read nor understood.  Also, a phone call is not easily recorded and played again, so this fixes that issue as well.  Lastly, I will record a "basic" video that can be emailed to several different clients that answers the same basic questions that I receive time and time again.  Time is money in my industry, and this tool helps me save time.

As a recruiter, I've found BombBomb to be an incredibly helpful tool for communicating with candidates about job opportunities on LinkedIn. Since using the platform to send personalized video messages, I've noticed a significant increase in the number of candidates who respond to my messages. While there are some limitations when it comes to tracking messages at a larger scale, overall, I've found BombBomb to be a handy tool for personalized communication in the recruiting industry.

Ability to use across multiple applications and devices. The integration into Gmail is a great feature and the mobile application works great on the fly.

Actual on-the-phone support as easier to do when the program first launched. It was one of the things I most appreciated because I do better being helped in real time by an actual person.

BombBomb is intuitive and fast. But beyond just facilitating quick video messages, the company promotes a philosophy of human-centered communication that has the potential to improve all business communication. 

BombBomb webinars and training content have inspired me to rethink marketing efforts: less digital pollution, more personalized and helpful content.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

There are times when I wish there were more editing features like the ability to add cool titles or to quickly extract clips from one video and insert it into another...but I can appreciate why BombBomb doesn't focus on these features. It'd lead users to spend too much time editing and perfecting video, and that's contrary to the product's intended use--quick, personal communication.

**What problems is BombBomb solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BombBomb makes prospecting, selling, and customer service efforts more effective.  I use BombBomb to stand out from others when connecting on LinkedIn.  I use BombBomb videos to explain complex subjects to prospects and to coworkers when text would bore them. I use video in our NPS survey process to thank reviewers for participating and solicit additional feedback.

Only one thing.  I hate the little button that always seems to be in my way when typing an email.  I have moved it many times. Ugh!!

It allows me to communicate without fear - fear of my message being mis-interpreted.  When using email it is sometimes hard to tell what someone meant by just words on a page.

Being able to quickly shoot videos and send them out for one-to-one connections as well as send out mass emails to follow up from meetings and classes has been extremely helpful for my business.

**What do you dislike about BombBomb?**

I don't know if this is something that I dislike about BombBomb, but it would be great if there was an integration to send mass text messages! I like that it can be done with email so I am hoping for mass texts soon!

Integrating video into my business via text messaging and email. Also, follow up with prospects, class, attendees, and my database to stay top of mind. I also use the advanced email composer to create templated emails for these areas as well.
