I especially like that it sends reminders throughout my organizations platforms when an eval is due and it makes it so much easier to stay on top of goals, reviews, and check-ins. The main isssue is that much work needs to go into the review and we have to do it more times a year. Hard to know if all this extra time updating a self review increases overall performance. It is nice to track down what we do each quarter but I don't believe it's being reviewed and tracked for the amount of effort that goes into the self review. Betterworks offers a modern interface for tracking goals, sharing feedback, and collaborating with others. Also I really appreciate the AI tools to enhance feedback texts, this is maybe my major advantage. In addition I never had issues with performance - the system seems to be stable and scalable. The overall appearance, as a quick tool that you only visit from time to time, is not perfectly intuitive. Sometimes you have to search for settings just to change other settings, and it doesn’t feel well integrated with other tools like Microsoft Teams. Also, I don’t like that requested feedback expires after a certain time. For me, this feedback should be enforced, and it should be required that the user works on it before continuing to work in Betterworks in general.

Maybe it would help to work with capacities, so there are feedback capacities per time and per person, to avoid overwhelming people. When it comes to widget customization, as an end user I would like the option to enable only the widgets I actually use. Better interfaces could help make Betterworks more present and encourage using it more as a day-to-day tool.
