I really like that BarTender lets us print pretty much anything instantly in black and white, which is great for our needs. We use it a lot for creating thermal transfer labels, especially when we're doing product markings, box labels, and UPC and date code labels. Another thing I find valuable is its capability to do private label mockups for customers or print out limited edition SKU identifiers. It's super handy because we often do private label items for customers. In cases where customers don’t supply their own labels, we can easily create simple black and white ones in-house. Plus, before going for full-color printing, we can check out a black and white concept first, thanks to BarTender. The setup was extremely easy—just install, connect the printer, and we were good to go. Overall, the software is extremely robust, and I haven’t encountered issues other than the photo attachment aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Attaching photos to a label can be a bit blurry. Re-creating a label without a digital file by scanning and importing it as a picture works okay, but it would be nice to have some AI tool that can read and transcribe the text from the photo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
