The best part is using Lambda was not setting it up as a server, installing all our files, and then running the code in a sandbox environment. AWS is one of the best Cloud providers out there in the market. It is helping many small businesses out there to achieve the development of highly scalable products via the many services offered at an affordable price. I like their documentation very much as it's the most detailed documentation I have ever seen and it's pretty self-explainatory. Apart from this their pricing is very competitive as compared to other cloud players in the market. Plan your development before using their services otherwise that affordable price will overshoot your monthly budgets within no time, one of the reason can be improper handling of lambda function failures resulting in repetitive invocation of the same.

nothing much, I really love AWS lambda, I use it everyday for most of my problems which requires every hours executions.

I have been using AWS Lamda for a long time The best capabilities I liked about it are:

1) I don't need to create or manage new servers for my deployment or small capabilities

2) The environment setup load is now negligible, and I can focus on my code and not waste my time on the environment

3) As AWS is a pay-as-you-go model, I don't have to waste my time on the pricing, and minimized for us as well as my client

4) One of the best things is the easy integration of mass mailing using AWS lambda and SES in my project Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the problems that I faced with AWS Lambda are:

1) Timeout options: Sometimes the job that I give in Lambda requires more run time but the jobs get timeout due to Lambda restrictions after 5-7 minutes
