AWS Lambda provides serverless computing option meaning we don't have to manage or configure server, as a full stack developer lambda is quite usefull service for me, we are using lambda for OTP generation service and also for downloading encrypted file from s3 on click of a button. It's quite easy to setup and we only have to pay for the compute time used by lambda function. Can easily be integrated with many other aws services like s3 and aws SQS. While it offer affordable pricing for compute service but can be an expensive option depending upon usecase, If you're lambda function with run frequently then it can be a expensive option over ec2.
