**What do you like best about Ascendus?**

Although the tool offers a variety of functionalities and can be used for various use cases, we have used ascendus for managing employee feedback. These tools helped us to capture 360-degree feedbacks for all the employee and thus we always had an idea of who are the top performers of our company and we are the flag bearers.
Each employee receives feedback from self, peers, reporting manager and thus the feedback is more accurate and less biased.


**What do you dislike about Ascendus?**

In this age of technology UI/UX plays an important part and a good UI is very important for easy adaptation. Although the tool is easy to understand but the UI is very old age and boring thus it was not very easy for us to push internally and faced a lot of friction.

We used Ascendus for capturing 360 degree feedbacks for employees of our organization.

**What do you like best about Ascendus?**

It is a specialized tool that allow you to control the feedback from the company. 
With Ascendus I can 100% customize my evaluations and have flexible functionalities that will allow me to professionally digitize the entire process from start to finish:
• Follow-up: reopen surveys and send reminders.
• Add and modify on-the-fly surveys.
• Modify objectives during the process.
• Establish a workflow for the validation of objectives.
• Review process for feedback meetings.

In my opinion the best point of  the software is the personal report that analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of the employee and will serve as the basis for the supervisor to meet and review the results together.
The historical report analyzes the evolution of the employee throughout all the evaluations carried out.
The organization's global reports provide analytics and comparatives that help decision making and define the organization's strategy.

**What do you dislike about Ascendus?**

Sometimes there are many options (like birthdates) that  can be a little confused but they have already made improvements to this in the few months we have been with them.
The option called "Team access" was a bit confusing.

**Recommendations to others considering Ascendus:**

I have found the 360 review capability to be an excellent addition to my toolkit. I recommend for large  government departments and also a range of small to medium businesses, not for start-ups.

**What problems is Ascendus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this tool to successfully manage the most common evaluation use cases, such as leadership surveys, 360-degree evaluations, multiple evaluator reviews, proficiency assessments and many others.
