**What do you like best about Quinyx?**

What I like most about Quinyx is how much easier it makes workforce planning and day-to-day scheduling operations, especially in a fast-paced support environment with many different shift types and changing staffing needs throughout the day.

We use it heavily for scheduling, shift management, and reporting, and it has significantly improved visibility across the operation. The scheduling interface is very practical and allows quick adjustments when operational needs change unexpectedly. Managing full-time and part-time coverage across multiple queues became much more organized after implementing it.

One of the most useful parts for me is the analytics and reporting side. It helps identify staffing gaps, peak hours, overtime trends, and overall workforce efficiency much faster compared to manual tracking. The data is easy to read and useful both for operational planning and performance discussions.

I also appreciate that the platform is relatively easy to navigate even for new team leads and managers. The overall UI is clean, and most functions are accessible without needing extensive training.

Another thing I value is the flexibility. In operations where schedules change frequently, being able to quickly update shifts, review staffing levels, and monitor workforce coverage in real time saves a lot of time and reduces manual work.

Overall, Quinyx has been a very reliable tool for both workforce management and operational decision-making in our daily workflow.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

One thing that could be improved in Quinyx is the overall speed and responsiveness of some features, especially when working with larger schedules or more detailed reports. At times, loading analytics or making multiple schedule adjustments can feel slower than expected.

The reporting and analytics tools are useful, but some reports could be more customizable and easier to filter. There are situations where extracting very specific operational insights requires additional manual work outside the platform.

Another challenge is that some parts of the interface feel more intuitive than others. New users can usually learn the basic scheduling functions quickly, but more advanced features sometimes require extra guidance or experience to fully understand.

Mobile usability could also be improved. While the desktop experience works well for operational management, certain actions are less convenient on mobile devices, especially when reviewing schedules or making quick adjustments on the go.

I would also like to see more automation and smarter forecasting capabilities built into the platform to reduce manual planning during high-volume periods or sudden operational changes.

Overall, the platform is very useful in daily operations, but there is still room for improvement in performance, reporting flexibility, and advanced workforce planning automation.

Quinyx has helped solve many of the operational challenges that come with managing a large support organization with different shift types, changing workloads, and continuous coverage requirements throughout the day.

Before using a centralized workforce management platform, scheduling and tracking staffing coverage required much more manual work and coordination. Quinyx made it much easier to organize schedules, monitor staffing levels in real time, and quickly react to operational changes when coverage needs shift unexpectedly.

One of the biggest benefits has been visibility. It allows us to clearly see where we are overstaffed or understaffed during different hours of the day, which helps improve workforce planning and overall efficiency. This has also helped reduce unnecessary overtime and improve shift balancing across teams.

The analytics and reporting features are especially valuable in day-to-day operations. We regularly use them to review staffing trends, attendance, schedule adherence, and operational performance. Having this data available in one place makes decision-making much faster and more accurate.

It has also improved communication and coordination between team leads, managers, and support teams because schedules, updates, and workforce data are centralized and accessible in real time.

Overall, Quinyx has helped simplify workforce management, reduce manual processes, improve operational visibility, and support better staffing decisions in a fast-paced environment.

**What do you like best about Quinyx?**

I love that Quinyx makes it quick and easy to create my schedules and ensure time stamps are correct. I appreciate the ease of use and the ability to change between scheduled hours and worked hours, making sure I am keeping track of all of my employees. The initial setup was very easy, and I also really like how Quinyx helps me with scheduling for work. I also appreciate the website notifying me if an employee clocks in a little late.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

I don't like that Quinyx changes the time stamp if I move the assigned shift from manager to employee. I will put in a time a stamp and forget to press who the shift belongs to (employee or manager) and then press a title and it reverts back to a sample time.

**What problems is Quinyx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quinyx makes it quick and easy to create schedules and ensure time stamps are correct. It helps me keep track of all my employees by showing me exact punches ins and outs. If an employee forgets to punch quincy will auto punch them out at a certain time so it’s easy for me to catch.

**What do you like best about Quinyx?**

I love how Quinyx effectively manages timing for staff, especially when handling more than 50 employees. It's incredibly helpful for calculating hours with respect to employee contracts, allowing me to publish the roster without hesitation. It's amazing to see how it assists in controlling the minimum required hours for each employee, which is really valuable in managing a team of around 400 to 500 people. The initial setup was very easy, which makes life so much easier. Overall, I'm very comfortable with Quinyx, particularly as I was already familiar with it from my experience at McDonald's.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

I can't say exactly what needs to be improved because every organization uses a different package. However, I think there's a need to improve the holiday section when accepting requests.

**What problems is Quinyx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Quinyx for controlling staff timing and managing hours, calculating them as per contracts. It solves time section issues, covers overtime, period hours, annual hours, sick leaves, and KPIs while saving costs.

**What do you like best about Quinyx?**

I like how organized Quinyx is. It's very easy to use and easy to jump from one topic to another. The stories are easily accessible, and the little red dot feature helps me identify which ones I haven't looked at yet, which is really helpful when I'm bouncing between different stories. Also, the initial setup was very easy; I just signed in and it was done.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

I would say the only 'negative' thing I've noticed was the fact that tasks that are not assigned to me show up with the red dot. I would say if they had a different color dot that would be better to differentiate my tasks and tasks that are specifically for others.

Quinyx gives me updated company stories, shows needed tasks for a safe and happy workflow, and helps me communicate with employees anywhere in the country.

**What do you like best about Quinyx?**

It’s highly configurable, so it can be adapted to different collective agreements, company policies and decisions, and the requirements in different countries.

I also appreciate the Swedish support. It helps minimize language barriers, and it matters because conditions can be very different from one country to another. Having support that understands those differences reduces the obstacles that can otherwise come up.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

The contract model feels inflexible. 

Many of my support questions get sent to 2nd-line support, and the responses often take a long time.

Because we want employees to be able to book shifts without manager or admin approval, we’re missing flexible options for creating shifts with the same time that are visible to multiple people without having to show every single shift. When there can be 40–60 shifts per day, showing all shifts makes it difficult to manage.

It also lacks simple functions for white-collar workers who report time but don’t punch in and out.

**What problems is Quinyx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling is straightforward, and it’s easy to make schedules visible to employees in the app. The time-related terms are clearly linked, which helps keep payroll management accurate and simple. It’s also easy to reach out to employees when shifts need staffing, and employees can quickly book shifts through the app. Adaptable to different terms.

I find Quinyx very user-friendly and appreciate that it provides a complete overview. It's great for easy access to timetables and leave requests. The software is up-to-date and helps with planning holidays or sick leaves, and in finding an alternate colleague. I like that it saves me time in finding a competent alternate colleague as I can see who has the same knowledge.

Approval of timetables can be a little better. At the end of the week when approving colleagues' job schedules, it can be more comprehensive and the overview can be better. The initial setup was a little difficult.

What I like best about Quinyx is how genuinely practical it feels. Quinyx isn’t just another scheduling tool — it actually helps businesses get control over workforce management without making things complicated.

The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it easy for managers to build and adjust schedules quickly. At the same time, employees get transparency and flexibility — they can check shifts, swap when needed, and stay in the loop right from their phones. That balance between business efficiency and employee experience is a big win.

I also really appreciate how data-driven it is. The forecasting and analytics features help companies make smarter staffing decisions, reduce unnecessary labor costs, and stay compliant — all while improving engagement.

Overall, it feels modern, thoughtful, and built around real-world workforce challenges.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

Fair question — no platform is perfect, and Quinyx definitely has a few areas where some users might feel friction.

One common downside is complexity. Because it’s packed with features (forecasting, compliance tools, integrations, reporting, etc.), it can feel overwhelming at first — especially for smaller teams that don’t need the full power of the system. There’s a bit of a learning curve before everything clicks.

Customization can also be a double-edged sword. While it’s powerful, setting things up exactly the way you want can sometimes require time, training, or support. If you’re hoping for a plug-and-play experience, it might feel heavier than expected.

And like many enterprise tools, cost can be a consideration. For very small businesses, it may feel like more platform (and investment) than necessary.

That said, whether these are real “dislikes” usually depends on the size and complexity of the organization. For larger or more operationally complex teams, those same things can actually be strengths.

There isn’t too much content and too much settings windows that can be problematic. We have sections like a pulpit and a schedule. Changing someone’s shift is good and fast. I like an option to send mails, fast and clean.

Maybe the white style of the website makes the job harder when you’re sitting and working on the schedule for more than an hour. You should think about add option to change style of text in sending mails to team.

And the lead management system is also not as robust as other features of this application. So these two areas could be improved a bit.

**What do you like best about Quinyx?**

I like the very simple overview in Quinyx; it's very easy to know when I'm actually working. The feature to request holidays is very nice too and I find it incredibly easy to get the shifts covered as an assistant manager. With all my employees on a list and different shift types on another, it makes managing shifts a breeze. I've worked with a lot of different programs like Quinyx, but this is the best I've come across. I can add all my shifts to my calendar through a webhook, and requesting holidays is done with just three clicks from a simple dropdown menu. Managing shifts is really straightforward; I just click on them, type in another employee's name, or change the duration of the shift. Also, the setup was very easy, although our IT department handled most of it. I would give Quinyx a 10 out of 10 for creating a very nice overview and being very easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

I find the filters too complicated. There are eight different options for filters, and under these, there are even more options. I think there should be some default ones, like 'My shifts' or 'My department'.

**What problems is Quinyx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quinyx provides an easy-to-use overview of work schedules, simplifies holiday requests, and streamlines shift management. I can manage these tasks effortlessly with features like a simple dropdown menu and quick employee shift changes.

I find Quinyx to be an excellent tool for both myself as a manager and for staff, as it simplifies tracking work hours and facilitates easy communication of available shifts for staff to book. I appreciate the wide range of functions Quinyx offers, which enhance its utility significantly. The ability to plan schedules on a monthly basis and receive warnings for potential violations such as scheduling shifts that conflict with the 36-hour rest period are particularly valuable features that help ensure compliance and prevent errors. Additionally, I find Quinyx user-friendly in general, particularly when it comes to submitting leave notices, which contributes to a smooth operational workflow.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

I think Quinyx can improve in the more complex areas, such as extracting information about hours worked throughout the year. Additionally, the web interface could be more user-friendly; for example, the button to input a new work pass should be more accessible. It would be useful to have options to make bulk schedule changes, like adjusting all shifts on a specific day rather than individually, which can be time-consuming. This would enhance overall navigation and usability.

The UI. Its clean, modern and you get a good overview of the application. That Quinyx seems to be in front edge is also one thing that we value. Flexible startpage is a lift :)

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

Sometimes there is changes in the application that affects other functions in the system without our knowledge, that is a bit frustrating. The lack of schedule payroll export is also a minus. We dont want to build this through API because we then lose control

To have an efficient staffing of our staff and to be able to easily handle changes in a dynamic organisation

Easy to change schedule and handel the daily and weekly mangement easy to manage leave.

Somtimes you get stuck when you only can change tuff in one way. Not not so good if you gonna plan a schedule over 6 month.
I use exel and put it in quinyx later. Not a good wat to see longer periods of schedule.

It helps to manage time, leave, schedule. It help me to keep things in order.

**What do you like best about Quinyx?**

It is very easy to navigate, change shifts, edit punches and make rotas. Sharing the rota is easy and it's easy to access for all- on everyone's phones. So easy to use and see availability and peoples needed hours.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

Sometimes people clock in earlier than they are ready to: as per our company policy you must be prepared to be customer facing however some people clock in as they enter the building so they're not marked late despite not being ready to face customers. 

Also they changed it from 24hr to 12hr clock and its driving me crazy when I'm changing shifts or editing punches.

**What problems is Quinyx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easier to see where we don't need extra staff, easy to make sure everyone gets their hours and people aren't being over scheduled.

**What do you like best about Quinyx?**

I like the clear and simple design and handling. The color-coded layer types also make it very easy to keep an overview. Additionally, the support from Quinyx is very friendly, nice, courteous, and responds very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Quinyx?**

A possibility MUST be added that allows the shift schedule arrangement - employee arrangement to be moved independently, so that one can arrange and design their shift schedule from top to bottom according to the employee relationship (starting at the TOP with the boss/department head - at the very BOTTOM trainees and temporary workers, for example) - or alternatively, the shifts can be sorted by shift type (early, middle, late shift).

Additionally, it is very IMPORTANT to have a button or an option in the rolled-out template that can REMOVE or DELETE ALL UNASSIGNED SHIFTS together. Instead of having to click and delete each unassigned shift individually. (Such an option would greatly facilitate handling with Quinyx and would indeed save a lot of time.)

Time tracking with clocking in and out makes it easier and clearer to see whether and how many hours one has worked or still needs to work. Additionally, direct contact via QMail is very innovative, as I can reach all important or relevant people/groups with a single message.

Some features are not as intuitive as they could be. For example, it would be helpful if the system could flag employees with recurring habits, such as consistently arriving late, so that punctual employees could be given priority when assigning shifts.

It would be ideal if edits to day-off requests made before the schedule is published didn’t trigger any alerts, and that employees only see their approved days off once the schedule has been published.

Never experienced any loading issues and love the fact that it is a great way to enhance employee engagement. Our store teams spread across MENA have quick and easy access to Quinyx, no complaints so far!

The Mobile app could be more enhanced to be more user friendly on a smaller screen and the aesthetics of the  website could be more attractive. However, these are minor issues and the overall experience feels smooth and competent.

It loads quickly, you have the ability to quickly configure certain filters with the teams you manage/want to schedule, you have the ability to assign different schedules vs. paid hours, you can easily map shifts.

What I discovered is that, for example, if I set a filter, it cannot be saved and shared with colleagues in the company, requiring them to create their filter from scratch.

I think it solves countless problems, regarding managing a larger number of people, depending on activity volumes, breaks, the ability to view by day/hour how many people you have mapped, how many are working, how many are on break, etc.
