"All-in-One Contract Management with Simple Integration"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

I appreciate how Ironclad serves as a one-stop solution for initiating workflows for approvals and generating order forms. Its functionality in keeping track of any changes in contracts, particularly for legal reviews, is extremely valuable. I love having a central repository where all contract-related legal redlines are managed, making it easy to send out drafts to clients via email. I find the ability to manage contracts all in one place commendable, especially for tasks like raising order forms and triggering signatures. Outside of contracts, I enjoy how Ironclad facilitates amendments, third-party authorization, and the creation of specific documents seamlessly. The ease of use is another aspect I appreciate; Ironclad is straightforward, and the initial setup was pretty simple, getting started the moment it was enabled. Overall, these features collectively make Ironclad an indispensable tool for my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

The email management in Ironclad is combersome. Whenever I receive an email from a client with comments and address their points, a new email is sent out for each response. This results in multiple email threads instead of a single, continuous email trail. It can be challenging to keep track of all conversations, and clients may lose track of the discussion due to this fragmented communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ironclad CLM Continuous Innovation and Unmatched Capability"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

I've been consistently impressed by Ironclad's relentless commitment to innovation. The platform's continuous improvement is evident in several key areas:

Advanced AI: The meaningful adoption and integration of AI-driven features.

Ecosystem Connectivity: A growing library of robust integrations with other critical third-party tools.

Guided Processes: The development of sophisticated and practical playbooks that streamline operations.

Beyond the technology itself, the support available via the online community is a significant value-add. It provides a unique forum to connect with peers and troubleshoot not just system-specific issues, but also to collaborate on broader process challenges.

Having evaluated other solutions in the CLM market, I've found it notable that even competitors often acknowledge they cannot provide the full spectrum of capabilities that Ironclad delivers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

In my experience, even the most robust platforms have areas for refinement. As an active user of Ironclad, I've identified a few opportunities that I believe would further elevate the user experience:

Pricing & Packaging: The pricing model can be complex and represents a significant investment. However, I must commend their team for being consistently willing to collaborate and find flexible solutions that meet specific consumer needs.

Support Ecosystem: While navigating the official help articles can sometimes be challenging, this is precisely where the Ironclad community shines. It has become an invaluable, responsive resource for peer-to-peer support and practical solutions.

Analytics & Reporting: The 'Insights' reporting module is an area with significant potential for development. The current functionality can be unintuitive and does not yet provide the level of deep, actionable data that many power-users require.

I am sharing this feedback constructively, as I continue to be impressed by the platform's core capabilities and am optimistic about its future direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Support and Continuous Improvements"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

My team and I have been meeting regularly with our account reps and we have seen a steady improvement in how our feedback is collected and implemented. The software has been receiving so much needed improvements so I am glad to see the technical aspect of it being updated. In terms of the relationship between us I believe it is in a strong place today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

At times there are some limitations and functionality that I would expect that does not exist. For instance, the “insights” feature of the platform is virtually useless in its current form for data visualization. However, our account rep has kept us updated on any movement regarding that feature and assures us we will be able to test any new features to gather our feedback. "Versatile CLM Tool, Needs Improved Search"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

I use Ironclad for capturing internal approvals and as a document repository. It solves our internal approval workflow and helps with versioning control. The repository is valuable because we can easily find what we need when performing audits. We can retrieve information and metrics for accounting purposes and revenue recognition. Also, it allows us to capture data based on negotiated terms within the contracts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

We are really hoping to see increased improvement in the AI functionality, especially in the repository for the search functions of workflows. We'd like more accurate data retrieval whenever we are searching in the search bars. It was pretty difficult to migrate our documents from contract pod into Ironclad with clean data. The data dump was all drafts and final executed contracts, and it was hard to differentiate them without having to go through them manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Contract Management with Intuitive Design"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

One thing stands out with Ironclad: it brings every part of handling contracts into one place without clutter. Its design makes sense right away, so getting started feels natural rather than forced. Tasks that used to take hours now finish quicker because routine steps run on their own. Legal staff and department teams exchange feedback smoothly, cutting down delays. Clarity grows when everyone sees updates live, not through scattered emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

A few folks might find Ironclad a bit much at first, simply because there are so many tools packed in. Yet after getting used to it, things start moving faster when handling contracts. Over time, both legal departments and company teams tend to get real benefit from how deep the system goes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Innovative and User Friendly"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

The tool is easy to use from an admin and a workflow owner perspective. Wonolo's support team at Ironclad has been incredibly helpful when it came to implimenting the tool and answering any questions we have. They genuinely care about the adoption of the tool and want to ensure we are using it to its full potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

This is honestly the best CLM tool I have used in the 8 years I have been in the Deal Desk space. I have nothing but great things to say about the tool and the team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Collaboration and Contract Review Across Teams"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

Easy to do the comment reviews, red lines in the contracts and collaborate with teams across Product, RFP, Solution Consulting, Sales and Legal teams. It's easy to add/change signers and approvers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

It is still dependent on integrations with other systems like procurement, billing, RFP systems and will be difficult to set it up for a mid-market company. The reporting capabilities are limited and need custom reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile and Cost-Effective for Contract Management"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

I really appreciate using Ironclad as it streamlines the management of our contracts, even though the initial setup was difficult due to the large volume of agreements. It remarkably helps us process an extensive number of contracts annually by efficiently executing these documents from start to finish. I find the functionality to create workflows very beneficial, as well as the ability to add and remove approvers, track terms, and generate reporting metrics which enhance workflow efficiency. Additionally, I like that Ironclad offers integrations with DocuSign and Salesforce, which significantly enhance the execution of agreements and facilitate deal closures by our commercial team. The pricing and the supportive team behind Ironclad amplify my positive experience with the software. The flexibility in workflow creation is a standout feature that further justifies why I would opt to continue using Ironclad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

{"The ability to copy and paste is sometimes unavailable.","It is hard to replace documents in fully executed workflows.","There should be the ability to change the order of documents that are going out for signature."} Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive System with Great Features, But Custom Reporting Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Ironclad?

I appreciate that they are always working to improve and genuinely listen to their customers by adding new features. As the Admin responsible for training all users, I receive positive feedback that the system is intuitive and easy to use. We also value the backend data we are able to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ironclad?

The backend data is not straightforward for the Admin to use when trying to generate clear, consistent reports, especially if we need something beyond the standard options that have been programmed. I attempt to use the data once or twice a year, but I still end up downloading it and relying on Excel, along with macros and pivot tables, to consistently produce the reports I need for SOX and other requirements.
