**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

Hibob puts the power in your hands as an employee, not only can you easily put in leave/vacation days, you can also easily edit or remove them. The platform has a homepage where colleagues can engage and get to know each other, we can post cute and quirky posts on our birthdays or anniversaries and the team can celebrate with us. We can keep track on the entire team cause we have a view of who's out and who's in, we can see brithdays and a whole lot more. Set up and onboarding took less than an hour and we have intergrated Hibob with Slack and Google calendar, we never miss important occasions because of this cool feature.This is a great investment as it has multiple features that employers and employees can use, I mean the possibilities are endless, especially with the AI feature under the help centre page

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I had a bit of trouble customizing my page and adding a profile picture but this was not for long as I reached out to the Help centre and I found an article that helped me troubleshoot and sort the issue out in a matter of  minutes

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees are able to self manage and submit their leave on the platform, they can mingle with other teammates on the homepage, this helps build rapport. It helps manage teams in different counties (Anywhere in the world) Managing a team in the UK, another in the US, and a third in Israel means dealing with different labor laws, currencies, and holiday calendarsIt centralizes employee records, documents, and organizational charts into one cloud-based platform that scales as the company grows..

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

After two years of using HiBob, the thing I keep coming back to is how easy it is to find what you need. Whether I'm checking someone's time off, pulling up the org chart, or running a quick report for onboarding, the navigation just makes sense. It doesn't feel like you need training to use it, you can figure most things out on your own.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Two things come to mind. First, reporting, it works, but the export options are pretty limited, so if you want to do anything more complex with the data you're a bit stuck. Second, the Essentials section feels like a good idea that hasn't fully landed yet. The intention is there but employees don't always find what they're looking for, which defeats the purpose.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HiBob brought real structure to our onboarding process — before, it was inconsistent. Now there's a clear flow. More broadly, it lets me be self-sufficient with people data and reporting without routing everything through HR, which is a quiet but genuine time-saver.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

There are many things I like about HiBob HRIS. The custom fields and categories are all reportable, and it’s great having all employee data in one place, from hire to retire. I also appreciate the constant investment in enhancing the platform, as well as the engagement and support from the HiBob teams.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

The AI features are not quite where I would like them to be but I know the HiBob team are busy working to make improvements in this space.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to HiBob we had no HRIS, data was managed in disparate spreadsheets that needed manual updating.  Things as simple as updating the Org Chart were a major hassle (done in Powerpoint!)
Time off was a very manual three step process and there was no single view of everyone's availability - HiBob has revolutionized the way we work.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I really like how HiBob HRIS allows me to see the organization's structure in a hierarchy, so I can easily understand who reports to whom and track changes over time. This feature is essential for my role, as it helps me ensure I engage with all relevant people when working with multiple departments. Additionally, I appreciate that it keeps me informed about who's celebrating anniversaries, making it easy to congratulate and reach out to colleagues. The initial setup was pretty easy and straightforward, which made the deployment process smooth.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I would argue that the UI is a bit obsolete. I'd expect it to be more improved and engaging than it is. The text could be a bit lighter and just a fraction more engaging. It looks like the whole application needs a facelift. Also, the navigation can be a bit challenging at times, sometimes not 100% clear, especially when you go into performance review.

HiBob HRIS helps me understand my organizational structure, see hierarchy clearly, and identify who's who, streamlining collaboration and ensuring I reach the right people. It also tracks anniversaries for better engagement.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

HiBob continues to evolve in ways that make day‑to‑day HR operations smoother. The recent enhancements to workflows and automation have been especially valuable. It's now easier to build multi‑step processes that adapt to different employee groups or locations. I also appreciate the improvements to reporting and dashboards; the added customization options make it much simpler to surface insights for executives and department leaders. Overall, HiBob is becoming more intuitive, more configurable, and better aligned with how modern HR teams operate.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I think HiBob could really benefit from expanding its customization options, especially within workflows, reporting, and time‑off configurations. I also think the platform would be stronger with more robust integrations, particularly with payroll and ATS systems, since many users still rely on manual workarounds. Overall, I think addressing these areas would make the platform more scalable and improve the overall user experience.

We did not have an HRIS before and we're managing employee data through spreadsheets. We also did not have any tools for compensation administraation, performance management, holisitc time tracking or a general employee directory.

I like that HiBob HRIS has a very clean user interface. It's easy for anyone to learn and use, even those using it for the first time. Accessing settings and anything on HiBob is very easy, so the learning curve is much easier for beginners using HiBob.

Sometimes logging in through the OTP code can be a bit challenging because the code delays occasionally. It's a rare case, but when it happens, it's kind of challenging.

HiBob HRIS makes it easy to book leaves, pull payroll data, take salary advances, and engage the team through social posts and company challenges.

I really appreciate the survey functionality in HiBob HRIS as it helps gather insightful feedback efficiently. The employee details page is a standout for me, owing to its clarity and the ability to add and edit sections, which makes employee record-keeping seamless. Although I would prefer if I could delete certain sections, the existing management capabilities are impressive. I also like the time off functionalities, which ensure smooth coordination and management of leaves. The learning paths feature is excellent, providing a robust platform for continuous employee development. Overall, the interface is very clear, which helps consolidate all necessary information in a central location.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I would like an improvement in the reporting features—specifically, the ability to generate reports from a snapshot date rather than just seeing changes from an 'effective date.' This would help capture everyone's salary accurately on a particular date. Additionally, the navigation of time off rules across different regions could be made easier. I also find the current lack of subfolders within a folder in the document section to be limiting. Moreover, while I can add and edit sections on the employee details page, I would also like the option to delete certain sections permanently and add them back only if necessary. AI does not work at all for reporting - never gives me what I need

i love the simplicity of the system, automation and the creativity you can have with even just Bob core. I personally really enjoy the talent module and we are just about to explore the compensation and I enjoy how they all link together.

in all the ticket system is really useful in answering questions.

i am the most active user in the company so i heavily rely on hibob in my day to day role and find everything quick and simple to use.

implementation of the Compensation module has been really comprehensive and we are already getting great feedback on it.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

The only thing i strongly recommend to better improve automation/self service is to group the esigns. for example having esigns only available to admins and separate group of esigns available to employee/managers so they can trigger flows themselves to go down the approval flow without heavy admin. For example we would want employees to be able to trigger the confirmation of employment flow so they can self serve. This is really restrictive in terms of automation.

sometime implementation can be hard to understand we receive guides which have been powered by AI and recently one of our support tickets which was used in the response and took longer to resolve the problem.

The shout out feature needs improving to enable more sophisticated analytics on views, comments etc and to be able to report on these too in terms of an internal comms perspective

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our performance management is now on Hi bob and we often get feedback how easy it is to use compared to the paper process before and all the information is stored with a progressive timeline.

Dashboards are great to give our exec leaders real time data of their division

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I really like the company org view through HiBob HRIS where I can filter by location, role level, and interests. This is really helpful for keeping a pulse on how the company is organized and understanding how different people work together, especially in a small-medium organization with a frequently shifting structure. The streamlined calendar management makes it easy to request time off and manage time-off requests, and the time-off calendar is super intuitive. I also like the goal-setting and ongoing tracking features, and the visibility it provides into my colleagues' goals with the shared goals view. The goal-setting aspect is new and interesting to me, allowing simple check-ins and notes on progress. Overall, everything feels streamlined, intuitive, and easy to use, plus it has a really nice design.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

The 1-on-1 meeting setup seems confusing to me. I don't understand how to make a recurring meeting that will update the notes/topic sections for each meeting while retaining the historical meeting information. For this reason, I don't use the 1:1 feature as much. Additionally, it can be a bit confusing what is managed in HiBob and BobTalent, and which section/product I should use for what purpose. Those products seem pretty bordered off from each other which can make it a bit confusing.

HiBob HRIS centralizes my work admin and career goals, making it easy to set OKRs, hold meetings, and view the company org chart. It streamlines calendar management and simplifies goal visibility and tracking, enhancing organization and collaboration within my team.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

What stands out most to me about HiBob is how well it balances modern employee experience with practical HR operations. A few highlights on my hand are: User-friendly, modern UI – It’s genuinely pleasant to use for both HR teams and employees, which drives adoption (a big deal for HRIS success). But also the good people analytics – The dashboards and reports are visual and accessible, making it easier to turn HR data into insights leaders actually use. Last but not least the integrations ecosystem – Plays well with payroll, ATS, performance, and finance tools.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I actually can say that is a good tool overall, but if I need to highlight a downside, that would be the mobile experience: is generally decent, but some employees find it less intuitive or feature-complete than the desktop version.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an employee I can say that the 2 things that HiBob simplify for me are:
- Personal information storage: personal details, time off and org hierarchy lives in one place you can access anytime. No more “Which form do I send?” or “Who has the latest document?”
-Simplify time off and attendance: Easily request time off from your dashboard or mobile app, I can see my balances in real time and approvals and adjustments happen quickly and transparently.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I use HiBob HRIS to manage the end-to-end employment lifecycle all within one system, which is great because it consolidates multiple systems into one and reduces the use of spreadsheets. It provides one true source of people data with a good UX for employees and consistency across modules. I really like the ease of use and automation of tasks, as automation reduces the risk of human error and the time spent manually processing requests. The implementation has been very structured with dedicated support managers for each module, and any queries are quickly resolved, providing good guidance.

The functionality for producing template letters could be improved, this has been a step down in functionality from our previous system, this would enable the team to focus more on value add work.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

Really easy to use and nice to look at- requires a lot of manual intervention to set up and make work for your business, but this works in business favour if time is put into planning prior to set up as you can mould it to fit your company needs. Customer support service and ability to raise tickets is really useful and there is always someone happy to help. Always get a fast response.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

Additional cost for 'add-ons' such as training, payroll etc modules. This is troublesome for us as a small business of under 50 people as I cannot get the funding for it :( I feel if all the modules were under one package it would be perfect

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use HiBob to store employee information, manage offboarding/onboarding of employees, process and record different times of leave, manage PDR's & 1on1's as well as a little bit of employee engagement.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

What I enjoy most about HiBob is the ability to configure the system to automate many of my HR tasks.  For example, we've set up some amazing workflows for onboarding, which is really helping with clarity for the first 90 days and keeping people's learning on track.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

There are a few things I wish HiBob could do that it currently doesn't.  One example is for surveys, I wish survey could be launched let's say every Quarter, and then be able to show the changes from Quarter to Quarter.  There is still some room for improvements across all modules but it does seem like they are always working on enhancement to make things better.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We purchased HiBob to help us automate review cycles, real-time feedback, and clear visibility into employee development will reduce administrative burden, strengthen manager-employee conversations, and improve retention.

I enjoy the self-service autonomy it provides. **What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

I love how easy it is to use. I know where everything is located, and the training sessions I was given when I became an admin really helped me navigate the system and understand where to go for help in the future. I also love the layout.

I onboard new starters to Hi Bob weekly, and I find the ATS hire navigation simple and quick. I upload alot of documents to HiBob profiles and find this whole process super quick, saving me a lot of time to focus on other areas of my role.

We’ve had a few instances where our integration with Navan (our company travel platform) has broken or become unsynced. This has created some issues for our Finance team, and I’m still working to understand how this ties back to the platform and what it looks like from a back-end perspective.

I can't duplicate a question when creating a form in a performance review cycle. I have to create each question from scratch. It's also the same for engagement surveys. So, it's very minor functionality that could be improved. I don't think the initial setup was easy. It was extremely time-consuming, and there was a lot of work involved to get it to where we wanted it to be, even though there was a lot of support.

The one to one feature with the ability to pop out goals - keeps people accountable and ensure we all stay on track. The ability to link the meetings with recurring calendar invites means they remain regular. Having talent separate to day to day also ensure you are in a dedicated space for what you need at the time - less distractions.

The time off policies are not customisable/flexible enough. Not being able to start a half day at any time other that 12 is an issue (this is not what time we start and it creates false expectations for employees) - the lack of rolling sick policy is also an issue as we cannot set up the policy to match

I use HiBob HRIS both as an employee and as an administrator, and it helps keep HR records clear and up to date. The reports in Analytics and the ability for bulk uploads are very helpful. I like the employee surveys and performance reviews, and I find the integration with Zinc particularly valuable as it automatically files completed background checks, making life easier. We base our annual OKRs on survey feedback and use feedback during onboarding and exits, which is very convenient with the wheel charts to measure data, while still allowing a deep dive into answers. The Zinc integration automates updates to new hires' profiles and files case reports efficiently.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

We are looking into improving our probation process as currently there are some fiddly flows that are triggered upon tasks being completed so the process is not completed if the task is not marked completed, which is causing HR having to constantly monitor if these were completed correctly.

I love how HiBob HRIS is easy to use from both the employee side and the HR side, and we don't need to have a dedicated HRIS staff member to program the software because anyone can learn it. I enjoy the talent/performance module and appreciate Bob's push for enhancing AI capabilities. For any bugs we've experienced, HiBob HRIS has been very responsive, with quick fixes and helpful workarounds, which is impressive. It was easy to set up, thanks to a good implementation team. We've been able to grow from 60 to over 200 employees since using HiBob HRIS, a growth that wouldn't have been possible without it. Our integrations with the LMS and Microsoft ecosystem work well, and I'm excited to explore more, like Netsuite soon.

I think the HiBob HRIS has been a really great user experience. It's quite easy to use and feels modern, unlike other HR platforms I've used, which felt very clunky. One form, sent out to all workers and automatically savings into their files is getting us a lot better response time from construction workers than then having to fill in  form and return. This system is impressively intuitive and user-friendly—everything is organized exactly where you would expect, and there’s a clear effort to minimize unnecessary clicks or extra steps. The core HR features are excellent; navigating documents, holidays, and profiles is straightforward and simple. The talent functionality has also been outstanding, helping us refine our processes and drive important changes. While we haven’t yet explored the integration options, it’s reassuring to know that integration with our other systems is possible.

The implementation process met a high standard, and our implementation manager was consistently supportive, offering helpful guidance and best practice advice throughout.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

My experience with customer support, though limited to a single interaction, was just okay. The conversation felt overly back-and-forth, and I think the process should be more thorough in investigating the issues users are facing before making broad assumptions. For example, I was initially told that our 1-1 templates had probably been deleted, which explained their disappearance. However, after repeatedly experiencing templates vanishing, we discovered on our own—not through support—that the real issue was related to permission rights rather than admin rights affecting visibility and that was later confirmed by support.

Some elements of the job architecture do feel over engineered at times which in turn may have over complicated our ability to launch the functionality to our business. 

It isn't massively tailored to Group business setups where a group is formed of different business. Separation of data per business in our group would make the system more impactful.

This tool is helping us unify our approach to talent management. For years, our review processes felt like mere tick-box exercises rather than meaningful opportunities for development. Additional modules can have quite a high cost, making it difficult to put forward business cases. We've found this limits what we can do with the platform as we can only justify the Core HR module. Other add-ons look amazing but are just too expensive for us to implement at the moment unfortunately.

I've been using Hibob for over 6 years at businesses with a headcount of ~40 to 1,500+ and it works great in both use cases. There's so much automation which can be used to make the people experience better.

There are some simple features such as additional approval being request for leave request over a set number of days which could be engineered quite quickly and released, but I understand that Hibob probably have so many requests nowadays so sometimes, it does take time to see the product change.

**What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?**

It's very user-friendly, both for HR professionals and employees. We're able to customise the onboarding experience to create a great experience for new employees. It's also useful to have most of our processes in the same platform - HRIS, performance reviews, surveys, and more. Lastly, our employees love the Slack integration.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

We haven't implemented all of the modules yet because it's a bit too costly for the size of our organisation. Eventually, it would be great also to have Hiring, Compensation, and Workforce Planning, but financially it doesn't make sense to us right now with around 50 employees.

I'd also like to use the new performance calibration functionality, but when testing it out, the process is a bit too complicated for what we need, and we'll likely stick to using spreadsheets for now.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to use several different systems to accomplish our HR-related tasks. This was complicated and confusing for employees, as well as expensive to maintain. Moving to Bob meant we could use one tool for managing employee data, performance management, and surveying. This gives employees more time to do their job, and makes the HR team's jobs easier.

I love how intuitive and easy HiBob HRIS is to use; employees can navigate the different modules easily, and there is always a solution. The org chart is helpful for people to view everyone's photos, location, and departments. The hiring module is amazing because it allows hiring managers and HR to access candidates. The employee data section is so useful for employees to view their personal documents like contracts, offer letters, promotion and bonus letters. The initial setup was very straightforward, and the customer success manager was very helpful.

I like that HiBob HRIS is easy to use and user-friendly, and you can learn how to use it very quickly. Among the features I use, I find the compensation feature the most useful for running my compensation events. I also frequently use the performance management feature.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I would say there are a lot of bugs in the system. Sometimes when using it, things just aren't working very well, and then I have to raise a ticket. I find I'm raising a lot of support tickets. Often, the response I get is, 'Oh, that's just the way the system works.' I sometimes find it difficult because there's not always an easy fix. It needs to go to the development team, or I get told how to use workarounds for an existing problem, versus having the problem actually solved. The translations are also not consistent, which can cause frustrations with our french speaking users.

I use HiBob HRIS for keeping employee data centralized, running compensation events, and handling workforce planning. It helps by consolidating data in one place and streamlining HR processes.

I like HiBob HRIS because it's highly interactive and intuitive, allowing our colleagues to understand and use it right from launch. I really like that it's highly configurable, which lets us set it up exactly as needed for our business. It looks really engaging, and I also appreciate the responsiveness of the support teams. If there's something we're unsure about or need support on, we get a response back pretty quickly.

I think the initial implementation was a little bit unclear, at times. Sometimes the configuration can be tricky and difficult to understand until your familiarity of the system improves. We aren't able to fully report on some things, like the specific reasons within time off policies. Also, the inability to have easy APIs on non-partner software is quite limiting..

I love how HiBob HRIS offers a great deal of customisation, allowing us to tailor it to our unique needs seamlessly. The regular release of new features keeps the platform fresh and continuously evolving, which I find very exciting. The support structure is exceptional, combining self-help options with responsive customer success managers (CSMs) and an efficient support ticketing system, making problem-solving straightforward and user-friendly. I appreciate that the platform is designed in such a way that I can easily teach myself to master it. Furthermore, its capability to integrate with a variety of other tools, including Culture Amp, Xero, Google Workspace, and our ATS, creates a cohesive work environment. We value that HiBob HRIS enables a scalable foundation for our HR team, which is essential for dealing with global business operations efficiently. I found the value it offers for its price is impressive, and I am always recommending it to others.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

I would really love to see a more dynamic e-sign tool where we can build within the template in HiBob HRIS to have more flexibility rather than static documents with fields. Additionally, I'd love to see task lists become more collaborative, such as having comments for status updates. However, I see Bob addressing feature requests all the time and really taking on feedback. The community forums are also amazing for this and seeing the Bob team taking on board ideas.

The system is highly customisable, very easy to use, reporting functionality is overall great (from where we have come from).

The back end support and account managers have been great - we have had a few transitions during our 1 year, but I understand that these things happen.

Love the Talent functionality and the new Anytime feedback is a great addition.

Starting to use WFP and believe this will be very helpful.

The overall ease of integration into the other modules and the implementation aspects is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?**

A couple of issues:

The sunsetting of Bobs benefits with no in-house solution.  It would be preferable to have that central source within Bob to at least know who has what benefits and for the to be able to ask questions via the tool.

Some of the reporting tables due to limitations could be improved.

In talent - I would like to see a probationary period flow as a separate area to help us track probation in a structured and report-able way.

Would ideally like WFP to be copying core (could be similar to that of sandbox where you fresh and it real-time updates the data so that you don't have to consistently upload the data.

**What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have a central source of Truth, that is driving reporting functionality and is simple and easy to use.
