The integrations are great and it plugs in to almost everything. really looking forward to adding copilot into our bob as well as other systems we use. The talent module has really improved this year with the AI assistant being able to complete performance reviews with a click of a button and pulling from multiple data points. There are a few things it probably should do that it doesn't such as sickness % and other HR Reportable information. There isn't technically an actual sickness process within the system which is difficult to then navigate and make work for clients, especially as 12months rolling sick cannot be done easily without the use of reporting in the system. Performance management, Single source of truth. before the project our data was in lots of different places which was far from ideal. This has centralised our data and we're able to easily find the information we need which has saved me ample time in my day to day. The hiring module has also made recruitment a genuinely fun thing to do. before it was laborious and too drawn out, now, i have my tasks, i have my candidates to review easily to hand. The ability to create custom fields and reports allows us to tailor the system to our needs and view employee lifecycle data in a way that makes the most sense for our team and internal processes. Overall, I've had a positive experience with HiBob, but there are some limitations when it comes to customization. One challenge we've encountered is managing time off for a global workforce. Since each country has its own employment legislation and leave requirements, we need more flexibility to configure policies that align with local regulations. Currently, some aspects of the Time Off module don't allow for the level of customization we need, which means we have to rely on workarounds or manual processes to remain compliant. I'd love to see HiBob provide more configurable options within time off policies, such as additional custom fields or country-specific settings, so organizations with global teams can better accommodate local requirements without compromising efficiency or compliance. Before HiBob, our HR documents were stored across multiple systems, making compliance audits and document retrieval very time-consuming and manual. We're now using Bob as our single source of truth for employee documentation, giving the People team visibility into required documents in seconds. This has significantly reduced the time spent searching for files, improved data accuracy, and made it much easier to identify missing documentation and stay compliant! Its comprehensive and adaptable – by adding modules you can really customize the product to your needs. It also integrates very well with other systems and has robust automations. For example at we have integrated the product with and external ATS and IT Ticketing system which makes onboarding seamless, but use HiBob Learning, Talent and Compensation modules to meet the needs of our ongoing employee management needs. The system is also constantly evolving – for example the AI features in the Talent module have been a game changer for managers which have made performance review cycles go from taking hours to minutes and provide contextualized insights that may have otherwise been missed. The compensation module seems a bit incomplete – I'd love to see more total rewards planning here to bring to life salary, bonus/commission and equity. An easier integration to feed in Carta data would also allow for our leadership, Finance and HR teams to use a single source of truth for all things compensation. The performance otherwise is less impactful and still requires manual work to export data from both hibob and Carta into excel to consolidate information. The price point for the compensation module at based on the functionality is not as compelling and I'm not sure that we will renew it at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Almost anything I need it to do it can, and as needs evolve we have excellent support and onboarding to new features, functionality or customizations. Speaking with other HR leaders who have so much manual work, for example poor integrations leading to manual work in onboarding or manual creation of compensation change letters at performance summary time is something I'm grateful I don't need to worry about. The interface feels well structured, which makes it easy to navigate and find what you need without too much effort. I also especially value the task lists, as they give a good overview of what needs to be done and help keep follow-up work on track. What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS? What I dislike about HiBob HRIS is that it does not always support country-specific requirements that are very important for our business. For example, salary calculations differ by country: in Belgium, annual salary is typically based on 13.92 times the monthly salary, while in the Netherlands it is based on 12.96 times the monthly salary. Because of these things, we often need to rely on workarounds. It would be much better if HiBob could take more of these local differences into account, instead of requiring us to think through and manage those workarounds ourselves. HiBob HRIS helps us solve a number of practical HR challenges, especially in a fast-growing and international environment. One of the biggest benefits is onboarding and offboarding people across different countries in a structured way. We can trigger different task lists depending on the country, with the right documents, requirements, and follow-up steps attached to each process. That makes it much easier to keep everything consistent and ensures that nothing important gets missed. This is particularly valuable when a lot of people are being onboarded and offboarded at the same time, because it helps us maintain a clear overview and stay organised. In addition, the reporting functionality is very useful. The reports are well structured and easy to work with, which makes it much less of a hassle to gather and use the information we need. Helpful: I find that there is very quick and responsive CS Managers that are genuinely invested in the product and helping us get the best out of the product and how we can best utilise it. This has allowed us great speed when any issues have surfaced, which has been amazing in a consistent reliable product. Upside: I find that it is super intuitive and easy to use. The ability to integrate with our other, external partners has been a great upside, and key factor in our continued success. What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS? Least helpful: I find that things don't seem to flow in a way that makes sense sometimes. Similar to how someone could be in an approval flow and it shows that they are, it would be good to know if there is a pending document for signing or viewing, without having to go to eSign requests and flows. Downside: I can't import fonts that I/we as a company use for seamless integration and view. I like how all the modules are interconnected, allowing people to see how their performance links to compensation. It's pretty cool that you can give kudos to people on this platform, and I really enjoy the Slack integration. The Slack integration is particularly valuable in our organization for notifying people about actions they need to take, especially since many of us are working remotely or in a hybrid setup. The reminder function is quite useful, taking you directly to the task location in HiBob so there's no unnecessary searching. The HiBob homepage with all its actions is very user-friendly too. I also appreciate that HiBob is more customizable and user-friendly compared to our previous tool, and it directly connects into our HIS, which is great. Overall, I'm really enjoying using HiBob and prefer it over other tools I've used before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS? Personally, I think there's two things. Number one, the written instructions that you have whether you're trying to troubleshoot something or set something up. Sometimes I feel even with the written bullet points and with the videos that there's still gaps. So sometimes important issues when you're actually building a workflow, to me, I feel like it's missing points so it's not as detailed as I would like it to be. And then when you contact support, unless it's something that's really urgent, I feel like there's quite a lag. So whatever the SLAs is in terms of people getting back to you, I still feel like it's quite delayed. And I would far rather that there was, like, a chat function like there is in other SaaS apps that support you. So that's something that frustrates me in terms of HiBob. In terms of improvement, I know that, obviously, within the surveys, talent module that they want you to use these for. Company surveys. The fact that you can't schedule these yet as reoccurring, I know it's marked as future feature. That's quite frustrating if you wanted to pull data and have, like, live analytics building over time. I love the Core Module of HiBob HRIS because it is really easy to use and practically self-service. The Tasks and Documents features have helped us automate many of our day-to-day operations with triggers in place to notify stakeholders on changes related to an employee's lifecycle. I also appreciate the reports and dashboards, which provide snapshots of our organization's data at a glance, offering great visibility and transparency. I feel that the Hiring Module needs improvement because it feels like an isolated product, and not connected with the Core Module. The experience in both modules is really different, and the amount of things I can do in Hiring is limited. The UI immediately stands out; it’s very easy to use and navigate, and overall it’s a better experience for our users. The AI tool is also a really useful feature—being able to use it to help generate reports is a massive time-saver. What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS? Overall, the support during onboarding was amazing. That said, a few features felt lacking, such as 12-month rolling cycles. What problems is HiBob HRIS solving and how is that benefiting you? Right off the bat, it’s much easier to manage automated leave policies. For example, having annual leave automatically add extra days based on length of service is amazing—before, it was all manual. It also has an in-built employee directory, so everyone can see contact info, and being able to check when someone is out of the office is an understated but really useful feature. HiBob is an extremely powerful platform, with customisable modules according to your companies needs. The UX is really user friendly, and the data and reporting side of things is also the best I've seen on any HR platform, and what really sets it apart is its customisability - you can set access levels, customise fields and even create reports on your customisations. Toggling between modules isn't the most intuitive and sometimes its hard to find things if you don't know your way around.
