About 10% of the files I create using my hp scanner to create pdf files will not open in PDFelement. I have no option but to rescan the files. Why is this occuring? (Note: I have sent emails to PDFelement and they do not respond...nice help desk.)

The PDF merge of 2 PDFs is done by using Apache PDFBox API (pdfbox-2.0.0.jar) but the final combined PDF is non-linearized. Do you know if PDFBox API has "linearized" feature?
I have tried other software to convert PDF documents to Word, but it only worked on documents that I created. What I want is something that will convert any downloaded PDF to a Word, or other format, so I can add notes to the document then save it.
It looks to me that dashboard and document creator controls are not available as controls for developers. We cant use document creator or dashboard creator inside our applications.
I have a translation or two to do that have a good amount of random marks on them and are PDFs. I was wondering if there's a good way to still convert these to Word documents while still preserving the formatting. I am not interested in the random marks, of course, but I am interested in the text.
Is there a way to comment or create a text box with an arrow pointing to a specific item on a pdf. The only way i know how to do this is manually create a text box then separately draw an arrow from that text box to what i am trying to point towards.
