# e-signature and automatic document generation

Hello DocuGen team!


We recently signed up for DocuGen and it's been great! I was wondering if you had an e-signature feature or tips on how we can send a DocuGen generated document for signature?
Also, is it possible to automate certain instances when a document is generated without having to do it manually each time? For example when a quote is approved and we need to issue an invoice?

Great questions! 
At this time we do not have a built-in e-signature but as an option, we can custom build this feature into your monday.com account using HelloSign APIs.

Regarding the automatic generation of invoices, DocuGen allows you to generate documents automatically with its integrations. There are 2 types of triggers that can be activated depending on your needs:

Date-based triggers: a document is generated on a given date, such as a due date column;
Status-based triggers: a document is generated when a status column changes to a specific value.
The integration triggers also include the option to “share” or “don’t share with [board] subscribers”.

You can set up an integration, select an invoice template if necessary and your invoice will be generated (and sent by email) either on a definite date or as soon as you change the status to, say, "approved".
