# How to solve the clashing problem??

update stuck and hangs the whole computer.
Clashes with my company anti-virus.

Angela, your company has probably set its anti-malware software for high sensitivity, which itself is not unwise, but because it hasn't been told that the PDFelement updater is OK it stops it. Your IT dept. should be able to "whitelist" the updater, if they can be convinced it's in the company's (and their) best interests.
