## Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) Reviews
  ### 1. Exceptional Support, All-in-One Convenience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cara F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

I love the fact that Appenate eliminates the need for using two different software by allowing us to put reports, photos, videos, and attachments all in one place. The customer service is also a standout feature for me; Lisa and Charlie are the best and go above and beyond for any question or problem I have. They are always happy to help and never seem annoyed by anything I ask, always diving right into it. Switching to Appenate from Adobe also gave us better customer service support and helped us bring our vision to life with a fresh new template. The initial setup was very easy, and on a scale from 1 to 10, I'm at a 10 in terms of recommending Appenate to a friend or colleague.

**What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

The app on the phone could be improved to be more versatile. It needs to be more user-friendly, as currently, you have to log into the desktop to see everything.

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Appenate eliminates using two different software, allowing us to put the report, photos, video, and attachments all in one place.

**Official Response from Don Dinnematin:**

> Hi Cara,

Thank you for the review! We’re so happy to hear that switching to Appenate has helped you consolidate your reports and media into one place. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Lisa and Charlie - they’ll be thrilled to know they’ve made such a positive impact on your experience!

Regarding your feedback on the mobile app's versatility, feel free to reach out to our team at support@appenate.com - we’d be happy to chat about it. We're always looking for ways to make our mobile experience more powerful for users on the go.

  ### 2. Customizable & Efficient with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo M. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

I love that Appenate has replaced all our service forms and reports with digital versions, performing better than other products we've used. It has streamlined our parts ordering, work order submissions, and customer reporting processes. The service is A++ compared to other platforms, and I most like its ability to customize forms for maximum data collection use. The personal support is amazing and has effectively solved all our needs and wants. The support we received made the setup very seamless, greatly cutting down the learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

I would like better tutorials and knowledge-based examples for real-world problems. Currently, it is very basic explanation of how to do something instead of showing examples. The learning curve was not as easy as other platforms. It would be great if Appenate would have its own way of providing reports in spreadsheet form and also be able to print out PDFs using our templates.

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Appenate streamlined our process in parts ordering, work order submissions, and reporting for customers.

**Official Response from Don Dinnematin:**

> Hi Ricardo,

Thank you for the 5-star review! We are so pleased to hear that Appenate has successfully replaced your service forms and streamlined your parts ordering and reporting. Knowing our support team provided an A++ experience for you really makes our day!

Regarding your request for more real-world tutorials and specialized reporting options, feel free to reach out to our team at support@appenate.com - we are constantly looking to expand our knowledge base and would love to hear which specific examples would help you most.

  ### 3. Seamless, Customisable App with Amazing Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

The way all the fields link together and are interconnected. It makes for very easy use and integration into our work day. The layout is simple and easy to understand and the customisability is incredible. We have started to implement this app in our daily office tasks and will soon be using it everyday.

Lisa and Charlie have been amazing, quickly responding to my queries and helping me with problems. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to use this app in their office.

**What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

Some of the knowledge base wording is quite technical and can be difficult to understand. Maybe videos or more step by step guidance would be helpful as it can be quite tricky to figure out exactly what you are trying to do for the specific circumstance youre encountering.

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First and foremost, reducing the amount of paper we are having to send out with our contractors. But soon it will greatly speed up our invoicing queries and our on site accuracy with information entry. We are looking to implement Appenate into a lot of our maintenance processes but also considering the in office applications too. Freeing up admin time will be the biggest support this app provides to us.

**Official Response from Don Dinnematin:**

> Hi there,

Thank you for the 5-star review! We’re so glad to hear that Appenate is helping you reduce paperwork and free up valuable admin time. It’s also wonderful to know that Lisa and Charlie have been providing the amazing support we strive for!

We appreciate your feedback regarding the technical wording in our knowledge base. To help with this, we have newly available videos and we’re actively rolling out more to provide that step-by-step guidance you mentioned.

Feel free to reach out to our team at support@appenate.com - we’d be happy to chat through your feedback and point you toward the new video resources that best fit your needs.

  ### 4. This program is super user friendly and customizable!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S. | Division Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

To someone who isnt super familiar with computers and tech, this program is super user friendly to both create and use on the app. I am easily able to look up how to insert different things onto the documents I create and it is very simple to edit. This program offered so many features which made it stick out from others. This was the only program that was this easy to customize and had all the features we were looking for. We offer a unique and broad amount of services so finding something universal was very important. When I have trouble I can message a customer service rep and they are quick to answer my question and find a solution. Sometimes, they even do the action for me and teach me how to do it on other documents. Our paperwork/app is constantly live as we are a 24/7 restoration company so being able to reach out and get a response so quick is super helpful to resolve any issues and keep our divisions running efficiently. Our techs use this app even during their emergencies in the middle of the night and the property receives the email and is aware of whats going on immediately. The fact that this program will email paperwork and photos keeps our customers informed at all times is amazing and has been so useful for any issues we run into. Our technicians were able to ease into the app seamlessly. They were able to complete paperwork efficiently and they would make me aware of changes that needed to be made and I could go onto the browser and change it immediately for them to submit paperwork. We are a small company that was still using physical sheets of paperwork out in the field and it was a very smooth transition switching over to this. Within weeks, we were able to covert all of our divisions over to the app. It helped us resolve our main customer complaints about paperwork and photo. Overall, this program has elevated our business and level of our customer service. Our company has been using this program for over 3 years now with over 10 divisions that each require several forms. This has made it so easy to communicate with customers along with acquiring all of the information we need for billing purposes. These forms have also been great with court cases and getting invoices paid because we are able to see approvals and signatures from our customers. Since we first started, we have added new forms and divisions and implementing the app to the daily routine of our guys has been easier than ever. This is our main form of communication and keeping record of all services and jobs we perform so it being so simple and customizable has been amazing for us.

**What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

The only complaint I have about Forms on Fire would be the amount of time it takes for the form to submit. It does not always automatically sync. Sometimes, the technicians out in the field have to reload their app or press "force sync" in order to receive it. But once they do that, it works great!

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were having a disconnect with communication with our customers. They werent receiving paperwork all the time or it was lost. A lot of the time, customers needed photos for insurance or paperwork emailed to them. Now we can hold our techs accountable and we can make sure that everytime paperwork is completed, photos are required, and customers are guaranteed to receive a copy. It also helped us keep better track of our "paper" trail. There were times our technicians lost the physical copy of their paperwork. It also saved time in our office since we would have to scan and convert each piece of paperwork to be able to put it in our scheduling program. This has also held up in court for our more difficult cases and has been a great resource for both us and our customers.

**Official Response from Jacquie Mason:**

The system is easy to use and has so much adaptability that we are finding new ways of using it almost every day. Having looked at many systems Appenate provides a solution that not many others can come close to

**Reviewed by:** Elsa C. | Senior Logistics Coordinator, Food Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

A big plus is Forms On Fire’s ability to quickly create customisable forms. Integrates nicely into existing workflows and removes quite a bit of manual work. The most unique part that I like is how it just hangs with our CRM and other software, so the data just flows right through. For real time data, this app is exactly what we need when we service our customers, and update information in real time. This also helps us manage and review the collected data quickly and boost our productivity.

**What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

Forms On Fire is one of those tools, and I think one area that could do with a tweak is the initial setup which while not difficult can also get complicated for more advanced workflows. Features may require a lot of configuration that will take longer than expected. In addition, network problems sometimes associate with syncing issues when connectivity is bad, which can delay both data access or update. The system could be more effective if it could address these connectivity issues more effectively.

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Forms On Fire, the problems we used to have with data, data handling and manual entry are now a thing of the past. That has sped things up drastically, eliminated errors, and taken time away from other important tasks. **What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

Forms On Fire does have some drawbacks, one of which is the problem of switching between different sections in case there are many forms in the request. It can become overwhelming if you have many templates or forms in use, and the symbols may not be so easy to locate. This can cause a problem when one wants to locate a particular form, or entry during peak hours when the need high speed consummation is most wanted.

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forms On Fire has sped up our data collection in general, and especially in the field. We used paper forms, which took time and were error prone, before relying on this. Now, we can easily build a process around it which allows us to collect data digitally, and quickly tack information with our teams, speeding up our workflow and minimizing mistakes. Data syncing becomes much more automated which reduces the risk of human error when we are making better, more data driven decisions.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian T. | Field quality assurance specialist, Leisure, Travel & Tourism, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

I love the offline capability in Forms On Fire as it lets us capture data in dark corners where we don’t even have internet access. This is a huge boon to our field team, many of whom can work in isolated areas, because it takes away the need to do any of the capture tasks without interruption. We know nothing will be lost because once we are connected, data will start to automatically sync.

**What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

The one drawback of Forms On Fire is that we can’t do a whole lot of customization to the data export which can make it difficult to format reports exactly the way we need them. As a result of this we’ve had to manually fix up exported files that don’t match our reporting standards. While it isn’t a deal breaker, it does make our reporting process slower and involves more steps to our workflow.

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Forms On Fire, we have overcome challenges with manual data collection, creating reliable digital forms through which we can collect GPS and image based details during field work. **What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

I’m a big fan of Forms On Fire for creating very specific, detailed custom forms, whether you need features like GPS tracking, or image capture to make your field reports thorough and accurate. What I like is that it works with tools such as Google Sheets and Power BI to analyze this data so we can see data immediately and keep our insights up to date. Its mobile app is even offline capable, great for when you’re working from home, allowing us to easily collect and sync data as soon as we get online.

**What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

The problem with Forms On Fire, however, is that sometimes, the more advanced form design options can be complex, and they can be a bit confusing for new users without technical skills. However, onboarding becomes slowed down since some of our team members need additional support to ease into it. Moreover, in areas with a low data flow, synchronization may get to be slow, and once in a while, this disrupts our data flow, occasionally resulting in minor delays in reporting.

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Forms On Fire, data collection has really gone into overdrive — especially for our field teams, who are able to capture GPS and photos thus far without all the hassle. Manual paperwork has been reduced and that data is consistent across teams and projects now since the data is in sync. Our customized forms for inspections and other endeavors make us fewer errors and we can get to decisions faster, which has increased productivity and cut down on reporting.

**Official Response from Jacquie Mason:**

> We're thrilled to hear that Forms On Fire has helped streamline your data collection process and improve productivity for your field teams. **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elisa F. | Senior field operations manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

The thing I like the best about Forms On Fire is that it is so flexible and so customizable. Especially for field work, it makes developing mobile forms for data collection relatively easy. Working in remote areas the offline functionality is pretty nice. It works very well for us existing jobs, like SharePoint and Google Drive, so we are able to sync seamlessly. This has been a game changer for our operations in being able to quickly build forms and push them out to our team.

**What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?**

The one down side of Forms On Fire is sometimes there is lag when loading more complicate forms on mobile. However, if we ascribe any data to the platform, it all slows down our data collection process in the field by a matter of seconds. Still, part of the customization options can be hard going, especially from a technical perspective, and training new staff has taken longer than it’s supposed to be. As a result, how quickly we can reach out for new forms, for specific projects, is impacted.

**What problems is Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For fieldwork, the data collection processes have been simplified using Forms On Fire. Using it was just a struggle before with paper forms and we would have to sync data from multiple teams. Now everything is digital and it reduces mistakes and we get accurate data minute on minute. Working offline has been very helpful in remote locations. It has overall made our data handling much faster and accurate and thus our whole operation has been much more efficient.

**Official Response from Jacquie Mason:**

> Thank you for leaving a review! We’re pleased to hear that Forms On Fire has been flexible and customizable for your fieldwork, and that the offline functionality has been valuable in remote areas.
