It was very user friendly and was made in a way that you could very easily figure out what needed to be done even if you had not done that step before. As long as you understood the basics of the system it all comes together very nicely. Prior to this system we did not have one that could tell me when and how much material to purchase so I was managing all material buys in excel spreadsheets. Fulcrum handled our multi-leveled bills of materials with no issues and gave me exactly what was needed for purchasing. Customer support was top notch and was always there to help. Jack went above and beyond to help get us through implementation and around all our hiccups. The system itself is amazing and was/is the best change made this year by adding this to use for production. **What do you dislike about Fulcrum?** There wasn’t much I didn’t like in Fulcrum. Possibly not having the ability to add new raw materials myself. If it could be a raw material rather than an item it would make it more seamless in the process however this wasn’t a huge issue for me. **What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?** I broke this down in my previous statement, with the last system we couldn’t have multi-level bills of materials so the system wouldn’t tell me my material needs. Even smart workflows on the checklists for visibility and requirements for particular questions is very easy to implement. There are some further advanced features and field types that can be leveraged with a little bit of additional work and understanding of the program, but all-in-all our team has successfully utilized Fulcrum for standardized data collection with geo-referencing. Customer Support is very responsive in a timely fashion for any bugs or issues or even collaborating on ideas to integrate Fulcrum with various inspection teams. **What do you dislike about Fulcrum?** My only negative really is their report writer tool, which requires knowledge of HTML Code to customize the auto-generated PDF reports. It seems that so much about Fulcrum is the ease of use and no-code solution, but the exported reports are very difficult to get right and customize without a more advanced software code background. **What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?** Standardized data collection with geo-referencing. The only issue I’ve experienced is that once I synchronize my data, I can’t edit it. If there’s a mistake or something I need to review and fix, it would be great if Fulcrum allowed at least one chance to make edits after syncing. Sometimes, small errors or adjustments are needed, but Fulcrum currently doesn’t allow edits once the data is synced. Common sense is all that is required to set up your apps and keep them functioning. **What do you dislike about Fulcrum?** There are some limits on managing data between different apps and parent/child records, however the knowledgeable staff and university videos help in figuring out most programming needs. **What problems is Fulcrum solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fulcrum allows our company to perform monthly inspections of our substations. It is even programmed to print out and email me the report after each site has been inspected. IF that wasn't slick enough, it is also programmed to automatically send out warnings for areas that have issues or need attention based on responses from the individuals performing the inspections. Previously hand written reports were generated each month and scanned in for everyones reading pleasure. If there was ever an issue, it was often unnoticed unless the individual inspecting the substation directly reported the issue. Fulcrum also tracks and monitors all of our companys assets.
