I use Zigpoll as our primary tool for collecting customer feedback, product insights, and internal team feedback across our process mining platform ecosystem. I appreciate its unobtrusive, in-app micro-survey format, which fits naturally into the user journey and leads to far higher completion rates than long-form email surveys with our busy enterprise customers. What do you like best about Zigpoll?

I really like how Zigpoll makes it incredibly easy to close the feedback loop in customer support without frustrating customers. The super precise targeting and triggers are a standout feature for me, allowing micro-surveys to appear automatically right after a live chat ends, a ticket is resolved in our helpdesk, or on the order status page after a return is processed. This timing means we get honest feedback and high response rates around 35-40%, which is much better than the generic email surveys we used before. The integrations with Shopify and our helpdesk, Gorgias, are seamless and save us a ton of setup time. The survey design is clean and flexible, letting me keep surveys super short for post-support CSAT or add branching logic for deeper feedback when needed. Plus, their templates look professional and match our brand perfectly. What do you dislike about Zigpoll?

Zigpoll is honestly one of the better tools I’ve used in this space, but nothing’s perfect. A few areas that could be improved for our customer support use case: The reporting dashboard is solid for single campaigns, but it gets a bit limited when you want to compare performance across multiple surveys or over longer time periods. For example, side-by-side CSAT trends from different trigger points (post-chat vs. post-ticket vs. post-delivery) require exporting to CSV and building your own charts. Some built-in cross-campaign comparison views would save time. The free/starter plan runs out of responses pretty quickly if you have decent traffic or a busy support team. We hit the limit in the first couple of weeks of testing, which forced an early upgrade. It would be nice if the free tier had a slightly higher monthly response cap for real testing.
