"Fast, Easy Training Management with Fantastic SharePoint Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

It is very easy to set up training opportunities, review who is enrolled on a course, and the integration with Microsoft SharePoint is fantastic for promoting training and sharing post training resources. It is also very fast and is well utilised in our organisation. I've never had an issue with the system but the help provided is a great support, especially when learning the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

The only problem I have with the platform is that you can't export the learner list from a session to an Excel spreadsheet easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Katie Johnson of Zensai

Thanks so much for taking the time to review us. It’s great to hear that Zensai is helping centralize CPD activity and make training easier to plan and promote. Thanks for highlighting our support team, too. We understand that exporting learner lists could be easier and appreciate you bringing this to our attention, we'll pass it along to the team.

"Easy-to-Use LMS with Seamless Microsoft Integration, but Limited Course Exclusions"
5/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

I use Zensai for our company learning management system. It lets us roll out mass training to all our staff, and it’s really easy to use and customise. The Microsoft integration was a massive selling point and slotted in nicely with our Microsoft environment. I appreciate the great customer service and continual updates. The new training UI for end users and user groups have been helpful, especially for rolling out one-off training, and knowing features are still being developed encourages us to keep using the system. Setup was very easy, and the customer success team helped us every step of the way. It’s also a better product all round than the one we used before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

The only thing is being able to exclude learners from particular courses. I can exclude learners in the Automation Center, but that applies to all courses, and sometimes I only need to exclude someone from a single course. I can’t unenroll them because they’re tied to the AD group through the automation, so the workaround is creating lots of assigner profiles, which defeats the point of making it automated. I’d like an exclusion field in the course or training plan settings that overrides the AD group. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient LMS with Custom Activity Creation"
4/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

I like that Zensai is easy to set up and allows everyone to have access to courses regardless of location. I value that it supports SCORM files, which lets us create custom activities, and the My Learning dashboard is great for letting all learners view their courses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

I find the process for uploading employees' signature sheets into our safety compliance courses a bit inefficient. Right now, we have to use a mass importer, which isn't ideal. It would be better if there was a way to attach signature sheets directly to each individual employee's record. Also, course due dates not aligning automatically with the training plan due dates can be problematic. It would help if there was a toggle option that let courses automatically match the training plan's due date. The initial setup process was also a bit time-consuming, which was not great. "Not fit for purpose."
0/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

Not much really. The LMS is very very limited and because it seats within Sharepoint, not IT admins have a very limited access. it is not straightforward, UI very limited and basic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

Very limited, and slow. it looks like a 1995 old website. The AI feature are almost zero, or at least not useful for learners. pulling reports is a nightmare as well as scheduling sessions from the LMS. It doesn't capture the attendance well and the messages are weird. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use LMS with Powerful Reporting for Learning & Development"
5/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

The ease of use, and the reporting. The system provides me with everything I need to be able to develop, disseminate, and track learning and development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

Currently I am not able to drill reports down by line manager, which would be hugely helpful - managers are able to access their teams, but I can't see data by team. There is also no ability to "suspend" users who are on long term absence, meaning that they skew the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Zensai Delivers Fast, Reliable eLearning Deployments with Great Value and AI"
5/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

Ease of use and the ability to deploy eLearning modules to thousands of users in a matter of minutes have been standout benefits. Connecting to the API and getting hourly reports to share with the business is straightforward and reliable. The system’s uptime has been remarkable, and it’s consistently available whenever users need it.

Compared with other platforms, Zensai’s price point is still one of the best for the level of service you get. The added AI functionality has been great, and it helps set Zensai apart from platforms that require additional subscriptions for similar capabilities. I also value being able to meet with the Zensai team and share ideas for future enhancements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

Having to create and authoring eLearning in a different platform then to upload the content in here, seems so 2000's. Having in-system course authoring would be extremely beneficial and could be a real game-changer for Zensai. If tools with functionality similar to Genially or Powtoon were built directly into Zensai’s environment, it would be a huge advantage, not only for Zensai, but also for us as admins and users. Response from Anne Droß of Zensai

Hi Ulrich,

thank you for sharing your experience with Zensai, we really appreciate your feedback. It’s great to hear that you find the eLearning deployment process fast and reliable, and that the API connectivity and reporting capabilities are meeting your needs.

We also value your input around in-system course authoring tools. That’s an area we continuously look at improving, and feedback like yours is very helpful in shaping what comes next.

On that note, have you already explored our Content365 Authoring feature? This might be a great next step for you and could make your content creation journey with Zensai even smoother and more powerful. It’s definitely worth a look if you haven’t seen it yet.

It’s especially great to hear that you’re already using Zensai to extend eLearning modules to external users and benefiting from the AI functionality for course creation and assessments.

If you have any questions or want to explore it further, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re always happy to help.

Thanks again for choosing Zensai!

"Easy to Use, Powerful SharePoint and Office365 Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

It integrates well with SharePoint and Office365. It is easy to use and learners don't need to spend too much time familiarising themselves. There is a lot of power behind the API and automation modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

Configuration settings are very limited. Less popular authoring tools are not always well supported through SCORM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Katie Johnson of Zensai

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your experience with Zensai! We’re glad the SharePoint and Office 365 integration, ease of use, and API and automation capabilities are helping you deliver training and build Power BI reports.

We appreciate your feedback about limited configuration options and SCORM support for less common authoring tools. We’ll share these points with our product team as we continue improving the platform.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Best,

"Intuitive learning platform with minor performance hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

I love that all the learning materials I need are on the same platform, and that I can track my learning progress and achievements. The UI is clean, intuitive, and well-structured, making it easy to navigate and find what I need quickly. I really enjoy personalizing the UI with dark mode, which is a very cool feature. Since I often work long hours, dark mode is valuable as it reduces eye strain and makes the experience more comfortable, especially in low-light environments. The initial setup was frictionless, with the option to use Google to sign in, which took me right where I needed to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

Performance in some sections is a bit funny. Some pages can feel a bit slow to load or to switch between views or learning sections. A few workflows also require more clicks than necessary, mainly when navigating between dashboards or opening reports, especially when switching contexts or filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive User Interface That’s Easy to Navigate"
5/5
What do you like best about Zensai?

I like the user interface. For the most part everything is intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zensai?

Lack of customization available for individual departments of an organization. An example is our learner emails. My team prefers to create more engaging emails and would like the ability to create custom learner email templates by team not by organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Katie Johnson of Zensai

Thank you for sharing your feedback!

We’re glad you find Zensai intuitive and easy to navigate, and that our ongoing reporting improvements are making a difference.

We understand how department-specific learner email templates could help your team create more engaging communications. We appreciate you explaining the need for customization by team rather than only at the organization level, and we’ll share this feedback with our product team.

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts.

Best,

Katie
