**What do you like best about Zensai?**

Ease of use and the ability to deploy eLearning modules to thousands of users in a matter of minutes have been standout benefits. Connecting to the API and getting hourly reports to share with the business is straightforward and reliable. The system’s uptime has been remarkable, and it’s consistently available whenever users need it.

Compared with other platforms, Zensai’s price point is still one of the best for the level of service you get. The added AI functionality has been great, and it helps set Zensai apart from platforms that require additional subscriptions for similar capabilities. I also value being able to meet with the Zensai team and share ideas for future enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

Having to create and authoring eLearning in a different platform then to upload the content in here, seems so 2000's. Having in-system course authoring would be extremely beneficial and could be a real game-changer for Zensai. If tools with functionality similar to Genially or Powtoon were built directly into Zensai’s environment, it would be a huge advantage, not only for Zensai, but also for us as admins and users.

**What problems is Zensai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest need for us was being able to load external users into this environment and extend eLearning modules to them. This has always been a challenge because of our security infrastructure. Using Flow365 has been a game-changer, and it enables us to reach even more employees and contractors than before. Having AI built into the platform also makes course creation and assessments/quizzes a bit easier, and it allows users to use AI for creating learning pathways as well.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

I love that all the learning materials I need are on the same platform, and that I can track my learning progress and achievements. The UI is clean, intuitive, and well-structured, making it easy to navigate and find what I need quickly. I really enjoy personalizing the UI with dark mode, which is a very cool feature. Since I often work long hours, dark mode is valuable as it reduces eye strain and makes the experience more comfortable, especially in low-light environments. The initial setup was frictionless, with the option to use Google to sign in, which took me right where I needed to go.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

Performance in some sections is a bit funny. Some pages can feel a bit slow to load or to switch between views or learning sections. A few workflows also require more clicks than necessary, mainly when navigating between dashboards or opening reports, especially when switching contexts or filters.

**What problems is Zensai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zensai for training; it keeps all learning materials on one platform and tracks my progress. The clean, intuitive UI makes navigation easy, and the dark mode reduces eye strain during long hours, enhancing comfort.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

Makes it very easy to organize your pending training modules and actually take the training as well. Not hard at all to figure out and even provides checklists to keep everything organized.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

Sometimes it can be a little slow, I notice that videos take a little longer to dynamically load than they would in, say, YouTube. The homepage can also be a little slow to load, which kind of sucks since you are brough to that page every time you finish a training

**What problems is Zensai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of learning and onboarding new employees. I am one of those and it has benefitted me by providing a simple way to take the training and track my progress. It is also great for new assigned training since it will add it directly to your pending training once HR uploads it, and will let you know how long you have to complete it.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

We use both Learn and Perform/Engage. For both, we like the flexibility to mold it to what we need for our employees. Each platform has issues that we get frustrated with occasionally, but we work through it. The biggest thing at the beginning was the learning curve and getting things set up correctly. We had some things set up wrong, which caused a lot of problems and hours of rework.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

The complexity and having to take so much time to learn at the beginning. For Learn, we really don't like that there is not an equivalency feature, so we have to work around that. And we struggle with not being able to customize calendar invites that go out for courses, requiring us to send our own separate email. For Perform/Engage, the reporting has been an issue and check in schedules.

**What problems is Zensai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For Learn, it allows us to get training to our people who are scattered across the country at 8 locations and over 20 different job sites. For Perform/Engage, we are 1 year in and trying to change the mindset of doing an annual performance review to an ongoing conversation.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

I like using Zensai as it allows us to keep training records centralized, which simplifies our management of training information. The platform's ability to invite people to live training and import records of any other training attended is very beneficial. I particularly appreciate the Flow365 feature, which has made our operations smoother. Previously, we needed two separate LMS systems, but now, we can set up users who aren't in the system yet. This is especially helpful for managing people in the induction process who need to complete e-learning before they start their roles.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

I think it would help if Zensai sent reminders to the course admin that they need to process registers for the live sessions that have taken place. Or maybe if it just flagged that there have been live sessions but the registers haven't been processed yet. Also, during the initial setup, we had some teething problems, particularly with some data not transferring across correctly.

**What problems is Zensai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zensai centralizes our training records and facilitates live training invites. The Flow365 feature allows us to set up users not yet on the system, easing new staff induction. It has streamlined our processes by combining functions we previously needed two systems for.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

I use Zensai for managing learning needs, assigning courses, compliance, and self-development, as well as handling performance reviews. I like the integration with MS Outlook for sending meeting links and updates, and the reporting engine that lets me create and configure custom reports. Zensai's up-to-date design also stands out. These features help to shorten the time needed to communicate information to learners and save time in preparing for meetings with stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

There are so many different ways of doing things, sometimes I use a longer one instead of a better solution that is already available in the system. Manuals are quite long and knowledge-packed, but sometimes I wish it was easier to find a solution. Zensai uses AI chats. But I try to avoid using them as I've heard it's very source-intensive feature.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

I find the Zensai system easy to use from an administration point of view. When I first configured the platform, even though I was unfamiliar with learning management systems and feeling a bit anxious, it was quite intuitive and easy to use. Our employees have commented positively on the nice new UI, saying it's much better than the previous version. They appreciate that they can access it via mobile, web browser, or mobile app. Setting up Zensai was very easy for me, especially since I worked closely with my success manager and a skilled technical colleague, and I was able to get everything set up swiftly.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

The mobile app doesn't feel as fresh and modern as the web browser and Teams app and could do with updating. Functionally it's slow, clunky, outdated, and seems to have a few buggy aspects. When opening the Catalog, it takes a moment to load and flickers between the catalog view and a white loading screen rapidly for about 5 seconds while it loads. This isn't a great look for those trying to use it.

I find Zensai intuitive and easy to use, fitting well into our Microsoft ecosystem. It delivers e-learning across devices, impressing our staff with its new UI.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

I really like the support we receive from our care team; it's top notch! We have a centralized place for reaching out for help, and either the in-house experts or consultants respond quickly, sometimes within minutes, providing answers and solving issues. They also offer a wealth of resources that are online and easy to search. We use the reporting daily, and I appreciate that they are building more reports within the Admin platform. We also leverage the Power BI reports and customize them for the important tracked metrics for our organization, which provides greater access to managers and leaders. The initial setup was very good, even though there was a bit of a learning curve with importing our completed courses to be included as 'live' courses in the LMS.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

We wish the survey options were more robust and available. They are working on it but right now it is not useful for us. Currently the option is that all courses, whether in person, online or webinar, receive any active survey. The limitation of not being able to tailor survey is a deal breaker for us. The only thing that could have been improved during the initial setup was how we imported our completed courses with a specific setting so those courses would be included as 'live' courses in the LMS. It was a learning curve for us.

As a company, we have a lot of managers with fully remote teams. Zensai has proven to be be an effective way to stay connected, especially when coordinating live catch-ups isn’t always practical. The Engage & Perform platform (formerly Weekly10) makes it easy to stay aligned with what employees are working on, exchange feedback regularly, and encourage transparent, ongoing conversations that support growth. I especially value the ability to give instant recognition to colleagues, as well as the clear visibility into both individual and team performance. This has simplified identifying strengths, development opportunities, and completing quarterly and annual reviews.

From an administrative perspective, the platform provides helpful insight into overall employee sentiment. The AI-driven analytics highlight engagement trends and potential concerns, while also making it easy to track participation in weekly check-ins and performance review cycles.

All in all, Zensai is a strong solution for organizations aiming to improve their performance management approach.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

In the past, technical challenges required some patience - however, now I have a dedicated CSS (in my time zone), and now my issues get resolved very quickly.

**What problems is Zensai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zensai gives our managers a simple, consistent way to stay close to employee performance on a weekly basis, which is especially important when teams are distributed across regions. It removes the guesswork around how people are doing by enabling timely feedback and regular check-ins, rather than relying on infrequent or retrospective conversations. The platform also makes it easy to compare trends across regions, helping us quickly spot differences in performance or engagement and adjust our approach where needed. Over time, Zensai creates a reliable, well-documented performance history, giving us clarity, continuity, and confidence in our people management decisions.

I appreciate that Zensai is easy to use. I also like the ability to keep track of many compliance modules, such as GDPR, which helps to keep in line with regulations. Additionally, the regular communication through our monthly calls with the team makes the platform valuable.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

The authoring can look a little clunky, and the page when you click on a course could look a bit more chic. I'd like image windows as an option for modules within that course. Also, it would be cool to have an option not to have the next item by default, but to just scroll down through a whole course like a website.

Zensai helps us manage compliance modules like GDPR, ensuring we meet regulations. It's easy to use, and regular team communication via the platform is valuable.

I like that Zensai is embedded within our current SharePoint system, making it really seamless for the user. This integration makes it clear for the end user and is embedded within their workflows, so it's not an additional tool they need to learn, which leads to a great user experience. It's also a very user-friendly system overall. From my perspective, the initial setup was very easy, even though I wasn't directly involved, it was still pretty seamless.

We've gone through ebbs and flows with our customer service from Zensai. However, we seem to be finding a good stride now by scheduling quarterly business reviews. Overall, it's a very user-friendly system.

I like that Zensai is always updating its features and their support is fantastic. These updates keep their tools modern and working without bugs, which is crucial for keeping us operational as issues arise. The initial setup was very easy, and the customer success team and technical team were easy to work with and helped us with all our issues.

Some automations and reports could be better from within the tools. I would like to see more functionality around reporting and field customization within Zensai's environment without having to rely on external tools like PowerBI.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

ZENSAI is incredibly easy to use and, honestly, the most intuitive LMS I’ve worked with. The integration with Microsoft 365—especially Teams—makes learning feel like a natural part of the workday instead of a separate system people have to log into and figure out. Because it’s cloud-based and works seamlessly in a Windows environment, getting up and running is fast and straightforward.

I’ve used a lot of different LMS platforms, and ZENSAI stands out for how simple it is to manage and how easy it is for learners to navigate. There’s very little friction, which helps with adoption and engagement. Overall, it’s a really solid platform and one I wouldn’t want to switch away from.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

Like any platform, there are always small tweaks or improvements that can be made, but nothing that has been a major issue. What I really appreciate is that ZENSAI actively listens to user feedback and is consistently making updates that simplify the experience and improve usability.

If I had to name a downside, it would be that some features occasionally take a bit of exploring to fully understand—but that’s minor and usually addressed quickly through updates or improvements. Overall, the responsiveness of the ZENSAI team and their commitment to continuous improvement far outweigh any small limitations.

**What problems is Zensai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ZENSAI makes it easy to actually execute my learning and development strategy. I’m able to build learning catalogs with meaningful, relevant content and deliver them quickly and efficiently, without getting bogged down in the technology. That speed and simplicity make a big difference.

From a business perspective, it removes a lot of the friction that usually comes with rolling out learning programs. I can focus more on content, alignment, and impact, instead of troubleshooting or managing a complicated system. Overall, it helps me get the right learning in front of the right people at the right time, which directly supports our broader business goals.

Works well with our authoring tool.  The integration component helps us keep our library UpToDate and current.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

Automation center is a bit cumbersome.  Getting query's to produce the desired user list is difficult.  (part of this is a company issue with our data though)

What I like best about Zensai are the CSM's - especially Cintia and Sandra, who have given so much help to us with regards to explaining how things work, as well as helping get proper technical investigations and resolutions completed. The CSM team experience within this company, as a customer, is top notch! This team is probably the reason why Zensai actually has a business; it's certainly the only reason we're still considering remaining customers.

The help guides and API interface are very difficult to navigate much of the time - I expect this is true across the board for everyone who hasn't been given a technical level of training. The whole help site needs a methodical review to update the bits that are outdated. 

The experience getting the correct level of support engagement prior to CSM engagement has been horrendously unhelpful. They don't fact find to understand the full picture, but rather, have a sort of script to follow that is really frustrating as a customer seeking support. Without the CSM engagement, we'd have been continually gaslit about things that have needed actual technical help from Zensai, that we wouldn't have been able to resolve on our own.

What I like best about Zensai is that the Perform side of the platform has been largely customizable to support our team’s needs—particularly the performance evaluations we’ve built. That flexibility has been key to our adoption and success.

Blake Shores has been an incredible partner throughout our Perform365 journey and has played a major role in our overall satisfaction with Zensai. He is consistently responsive, thoughtful, and solution-oriented, and has gone above and beyond to ensure we feel supported. Blake has truly been our go-to resource and a trusted partner in helping us get the most out of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

We’ve already shared this feedback with the Zensai team, but it’s clear that the platform we were sold last year is still underdeveloped and requires significant continued investment to be a fully competitive performance management solution alongside other leading platforms.

That said, the Zensai team has been open to receiving feedback and has made meaningful progress in response. For example, enabling all-in-one reporting significantly reduced administrative work during our end-of-year performance cycle, and configuring evaluations so employees can be rated on role-specific competencies was a strong improvement.

There is still important work to be done. Ongoing functionality issues—such as team members completing weekly updates that then populate as blank or appear missing—create distrust in the platform and impact user confidence. Continued focus on platform stability and core functionality will be critical moving forward.

Zensai is helping us centralize and operationalize our performance management processes in one place. It provides a structured way to run performance cycles, capture evaluations, and document ongoing performance conversations that would otherwise be scattered across tools or handled inconsistently.

The ability to customize performance evaluations to align with our roles and competencies has been especially valuable, allowing us to assess performance in a way that feels relevant and fair. Features like consolidated reporting have also reduced manual, administrative work for our People team, freeing up time for more strategic efforts.

While I can’t speak in depth to the LMS functionality as it primarily sits with our Learning team, having both the LMS and performance platform available within a GCCH-compliant environment is critical for our organization. That capability was a key factor in our decision-making and provides significant value from a security and compliance standpoint.

When the platform functions as intended, Zensai helps create greater consistency, visibility, and accountability across our performance processes, ultimately supporting stronger manager–employee conversations and better-informed decisions.

Our contact persons, Dominik and Lilly are outnost competent and pleasant persons to work with. All the questions are answered professionally and quickly.

We signed a three-year contract, but with each annual renewal, we received an excessive number of emails warning us that our subscription was about to expire, including a message stating that the platform would be deleted. It is easy to use, intuitive for both the administrator and the user, and I like that for course design it has different tools to add text, images, videos, links from other platforms, interactive images, etc., and it allows for easy structuring and restructuring of content, as well as facilitating updates, with changes being reflected immediately. The implementation seems quite simple to me and I like that it can be integrated with other tools. Customer support is always provided for resolving queries via email.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

I use the LMS almost daily, as I am the user administrator and instructional designer, so I think it is necessary to integrate more gamification tools into the LMS, where templates of dynamics or preloaded games are already available and only need to be edited. This would make it more complete and appear more competitive. Also, visually, I believe it could be improved to a more user-friendly image.

I also think it's necessary to improve the part of being able to create groups. These are already created easily, but once created, it is not possible to use them easily to enroll certain courses for those groups.

Perhaps enabling a chat within the platform would help to provide more direct and faster support to the client in resolving doubts.

None, in fact, it seems they no longer want us to sell the platform in Latin America, so this doesn't really benefit us, as we are distributors of it.

I'm not sure I would say there are things I DISLIKE about it.  Other things I wish it did?  Sure, like adding prerequisites to courses, being able to batch edit sessions for location, or being able to view videos I have in courses through the admin center rather than having to actually take the course.

What I appreciate most about Zensai is how user-friendly it is for our employees. Prior to selecting Zensai, our L+D team evaluated several different LMS platforms, and Zensai stood out as the most modern and adaptable option. The customizability and Teams integration feature made Zensai the most promising choice for utilization in our employee's daily workflows, which was a priority for us. 

Additionally, our customer success manager (Courtney Van Nostrand) has been outstanding. She has played a key role in our implementation, and overall success, always responding promptly to my numerous questions and consistently helping us find solutions to our unique challenges and needs. The transition from our previous LMS to Zensai wouldn't have been as seamless without Courtney's guidance!

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

I am not pleased that we are currently encountering a unique challenge with accessing the Automation Center, though I recognize this is not a common problem when using Zensai as a learning management system. Like other reviewers, there are little to no features/problems that I dislike about Zensai, but there are features or solutions I hope to see introduced. For instance, I wish there were a way to ensure users watch a required portion of training videos that have been uploaded retroactively as learning items. At the moment, the most effective option is to include a confirmation checkbox. Additionally, I agree with others that technical support does not feel as smooth as the assistance we receive from our Customer Success Manager. However, these concerns are relatively minor when compared to the overall positive impact Zensai has on our employees' learning and development experience.

Prior to transitioning to Zensai, our firm's previous LMS provided little ability for customization, was difficult to organize, and therefore, was severely under-utilized by our staff. Managing our online training has never been simpler, and we owe it all to the smooth and straightforward integration of Learn365 into our business.

Starting out can feel overwhelming because there are so many features to explore. While there are notes available when you log in to the training admin about new feature rollouts, I think it would be helpful to receive a regular newsletter or patch notes sent directly to email. This way, we could stay informed about upcoming changes ahead of time.

With our previous solution, we faced many challenges regarding system control. Many functions could only be managed by the provider, which often made the system cumbersome to use. The platform itself lacked features and had a very basic design. However, what matters most to us now is the integration with Microsoft. Being able to host the LMS on our SharePoint site has made it much easier for our staff to find and access their training plans.

Zensai's Learn365 platofrm is one of the few that fully integrates into Teams and SharePoint, which allowed our staff to easily learn how to use the platform while also providing quick and easy access.

While our customer service manager rep is very nice and usually helpful, technical support is kind of clunky and we had issues resolving problems when first coming online due to inaccurate info given by the support team. This is due to the fact that you are unable to just to call somebody to explain your issue. You are required to submit a ticket and then do all of your support resolution through written messaging and chat. Zensai needs a better and faster way to reach someone via an actual video or phone chat.

**What do you like best about Zensai?**

Zensai integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365, which makes it easy to assign, track, and report on learning directly within Teams and SharePoint. The interface feels intuitive once configured, and I appreciate the ability to align courses with organizational goals through catalogs and learning paths. It’s especially helpful for automating compliance reminders and keeping training records centralized.

**What do you dislike about Zensai?**

The configuration process can be complex, and some settings (like notifications, reports, and permissions) require multiple steps to locate. There’s also limited flexibility in course layout and user experience compared to other LMS platforms, which can make content feel static. Occasional sync delays between Zensai and Microsoft Learn365 can impact tracking accuracy.

**What problems is Zensai solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zensai is helping us centralize all training and compliance programs within Microsoft 365, eliminating the need for separate systems and manual tracking. It provides a single source of truth for learning data, automates assignment and reminder workflows, and makes it easier for managers to monitor completion across teams. Having training accessible through Teams and SharePoint has also improved visibility and engagement, allowing employees to learn in the flow of work while reducing administrative overhead.

Zensai stands out with its seamless integration into Microsoft 365, making it feel like a natural extension of our digital workplace. I especially appreciate the wide range of modules, which allow us to cover virtually every training scenario – from simple compliance courses to complex learning paths.

The AI-powered features are smartly implemented and actually helpful in day-to-day use. Both learners and managers benefit from excellent transparency around progress, deadlines, and goals.

And above all: Zensai has the best support team I’ve ever experienced – responsive, competent, and genuinely invested in our success.

Honestly, there’s nothing that stands out as unhelpful at the moment.

A continuous development of their products with formidable efficiency. A very responsive support. The tools are very intuitive and ergonomic. Ease of deploying and integrating the solutions into our secure environment. The tools are integral parts of our IT system and are used every day more and more often.

The slow usage under SharePoint, we do not use Teams for internal policy reasons.

We have received outstanding support from both the technical team and customer service, starting from our initial implementation and continuing as the number of learners on the platform has grown. The platform allows us to reach our learners within their workflow, making it accessible and straightforward to navigate.

From an administrative point of view, there have been a few minor glitches along the way, including not being able to customize the timing of notifications.
